It is hard for them to bash CFS because the pricepoint is amazing, and the functionality is all there. Pros It is the best bang for your buck when it comes to website, CRM and lead generation. I am not certain where else you can pay $100 a month and receive all of the services and benefits we receive. Cons The only thing that I am not 100% stoked about is the inability to make changes without contacting support. I wish that our website could be updated and changed often without opening up a service ticket with customer support. Truthfully, though, that appears to be the only negative I've encountered. Reason for choosing Carsforsale.com Price and the customer support I worked with initially was extremely impressive. (Not to say they aren't still, but I just remember being glad I spoke with them.) I was working on cutting expenses prior to forecasting for the next year. Paying $99 is a great value but it could use a vin code scanner to import or vehicles and give a book value for potential auction purchases when doing book outs on the fly. If you were to add that it would be a better deal for smaller lot verses Dealercenter or vin Solutions. Auto filling vehicles features Cons I had zero control of the backend of our website. I had to ask to update pictures or anything to do with the layout. No control over SEO and image captions (seo). Carsforsale wouldn't show our vehicles if the company phone number was in the image. Didn't display our phone number to steal traffic. Customers can easily choose a different car lots vehicle. The proprietary element of Carsforsale sucks and ruins the experience. Miles better than my experience with Dealer.com. I'm surprised more people don't use CfS websites. Pros Excellently priced, extremely prompt support, and responsive, flexible design tools that give me full control over the look and feel of the site. \[insert thumbs up emoji here\] Cons Website performance (i.e. load times, image quality, etc.) could be better but for $99 you're not gonna catch me complaining TOO much. Their helpdesk is top notch, they have flexible designs and loads of integrations. But if you sell classic cars or want to add an eCommerce store, they are, at this time, not a suitable solution. Pros Flexible designs, many options, and most of all, an extremely responsive helpdesk team. By far THE BEST helpdesk I've worked with in the last 10 years. Cons Once you ask something that is not in the platform, it takes FOREVER to get them to work on it. Their internal development teams are WAY TOO SLOW to pick up totally logical use cases, and even to fix bugs.
