I will check in a little closer due to the dealership being bought soon! Pros I like the competitor view to be able to be more in line with the market price. This helps save time and keeps turns higher and generates more profitability by controlling mark downs. I like that I can go to the website of other dealers and see the actual vehicle that we are comparing to; ie., trim, condition and overall shape of that vehicle. Cons I would like to see a way that shows the client can modify the request information on the contact us form. I only have a limited access to some of the other functions available. There may be a video or tutorial that shows some of the other features and I could bring to the Owners attention and then get access to those features that would benefit us. They are a good price but they don’t provide much for custom websites and they have bugs in the system. It’s annoying that whenever I upload pictures it’s out of order. Uploading inventory pictures is annoying sometimes. Uploads out of order and have to spend time reorganizing picture. A lot of bugs in the website. We always get a happy person (no automated responses) willing to help, quick on follow up and answers our questions. We've been extremely satisfied with how Carsforsale was one of the first to integrate with Facebook and has continued to add the latest and greatest technology to help our business grow -- like chat/text responses, COVID messages and social media. Pros The software is easy to use, mobile friendly, and stays up to date with the latest advancements and features you are seeing out there. Cons Leads must be answered in the software instead of in the CRM. Doesn't not automatically automate with our inventory management software -- which I admit is very old. You have found a work around for us, which I appreciate tremendously, just wish the updates were a little more frequent. Cons Working with CFS to develop the webpages for our additional departments has been difficult at times. I was pleased to received activity shortly after signing up for the service. Pros I was very excited to use the carsforsale.com platform for another form of our inventory marketing. Carsforsale.com is a widely known and recognized marketing software program that customers are familiar with! The ease of the mobile app is far advanced compared to others I've used. Overall I am a very pleased customer and will continue to use and refer the software! Cons I have not really experienced to many negatives with the exception of lack of customer response via the platform. I feel like FaceBook is a much more commonly used platform by potential customers. Perhaps if Carsforsale.com did more advertising and promoting the software to potential buyers via TV, radio and FaceBook marketing it could boost acknowledgment and gain for organic leads to the website. Pros Generally been very happy with Carsforsale over the years. First website we've used since we opened in the fall of 2016. Cons Recently the text feature was removed from the website. I have been told it's due to FCC regulations. We've had other providers say the same thing but still have texting available with yet other providers. Obviously in today's world texting is crucial. Pros Once you get it set up with the awesome customer service staff, I would say 85% of the whole process is pretty much automated. You can control most everything with your smartphone as well. Cons They automatically update every few months; and usually there is at least one new feature added. The ONLY thing I didn't like (which I found a solution on my own) is that in the inventory sheets, there wasn't an option for the vin numbers . I simply copy and pasted into another column.
