Despite the fact that the platform is easy, you always need support and fortunately their support department is very quick and helpful and also 24/7 which is great since you know they will resolve any issue with just a few clicks, for starters like me this is the most important!

Pros

Ease of use is the most important feature for me, since I had no previous experience with tour management platforms. The new look and feel is now much better, the previous looked cluttered, now it's a lot more clear and colors help. I have the basic option which is more than enough for starters, as you have control in all features and also provides some useful stats. I also find it a good value for money product that offers integration with so many OTA's.

Cons

The FAQ section is rather confusing and should be revised so that instructions are clear. It would also be great if scheduling was more flexible (e.g. having a tour operating day after day does not seem to work)

Imagine if you had the most entitled people with the worst possible software and the highest limitations, paired with terrible support. Everything broke all the time, you lost money, and then they would blame you. They made every small thing that should be easy difficult for no reason and randomly locked you out of your account for no reason. We lost so much time, money, and effort that it ended up being better to literally build our own reservation system.

Pros

nothing - There's one good guy named \[sensitive content hidden\], who's literally, in his own words, the only support rep in the entire US. Everybody else is overseas, and everything about this company, Xperience Software, is horrible.

Cons

Everything is terrible. Cost is way too high. They're actually stealing data. Integrations break all the time. Bookings have dropped since we started using them because Viator is stealing the data, which is their parent company, so they can get people booked there and then hit you with fees. Overall, awful company, awful experience, awful team. Old school legacy software.

Bókun has proven to be reliable, quick to set up, and easy to bring into production with minimal errors. Overall, it meets and even exceeds expectations. That said, I’ll continue to be demanding when it comes to future improvements — but that’s only because the bar has been set high.

Pros

I’ve worked with other platforms before and, without undermining them, Bókun has truly been a lifesaver by helping me achieve results in significantly less time. The possibilities it offers are endless, and the system feels very polished and refined.

Cons

Perhaps some specifics related to invoicing or resource usage can be a bit tricky at first, but this is mostly due to the learning curve. Some particular cases aren’t covered in the documentation and require direct support from Bókun’s technical team — which, to be fair, is quite responsive.

Pros

Easier to use compared to other booking systems used in the past, Customer friendly, Very nice presentation to the Customer, and very important extremely quick, efficient and polite Customer Suport team

Cons

I am very new to Bokun and have not found anything yet that puts me off. I have note managed yet to fully explore all its possibilities, and I do not know if it offers some functionality that are quite important to us such as: SMS support to the customer, or local agent management.

I am still getting used to all of the features and functionality. The Bokun help desk are extremely patient and where i have encountered an issue with setting up the system have worked diligently with me to address the matter.

Pros

I use Bokun in order to synchronise all of my OTA diaries in one place. I am attracted to the numerous OTA that i can connect with and hopefully overtime will see some bookings from them.

Cons

I have found the initial setting up of the system difficult. I have found that whilst the Bokun system will say that i’m connected to an OTA the link hadn’t been set up properly which has cost me a loss of potential bookings over the past couple of .months

Choosing Bokun in my case was a complete mistake.

Pros

I don’t have a good experience with Bokun.

Cons

I used Bokun to manage my bookings, but I encountered serious issues, especially with OTA platform synchronization. The biggest problem was with Viator – time slots appeared as unavailable when they were actually free, leading to lost potential bookings. I spent an entire month trying to resolve these issues, but the problems persisted. When I contacted customer support, I faced an extremely slow and ineffective team. Responses took a long time, and the solutions provided were generic and unhelpful. For software that charges a monthly fee, I expected much better service and a more reliable system. If reliable synchronization with OTA platforms is crucial for your business, I recommend considering other alternatives.

Using Bokun reservation system is very easy and it works perfect. I’m new at this technological stuff but whenever I have any questions, I connect to support team very fast and they patiently listen my questions and help me by connecting my computer or by giving me a call etc.

Bokun support team is a legend. They are very helpful and doing everything necessary to understand your problem and solve it.

Cons

There is nothing I can tell I like least about Bókun team. I don’t see even a single small thing I can criticize.

Very punctual and helpful. Matters that needed to be fixed immediately that could of ruined my business if I had not been able to get the support when needed

Other then not being able to call them over the phone I was surprised to actually have a live agent respond quickly without me having to send an email and hope they respond in a day or two

Frustrating. FAQ is not helpful and its hard to find the chat or reach for help inside Bokun.

Cons

Its not intuitive. It's very hard to fine-tune your products in there and its very hard to find the information needed to set up the products running.
