Overall, my experience with has been very positive. It helped streamline operations and manage bookings across multiple channels efficiently. The platform is powerful, scalable, and suitable for growing tour businesses. What really improved the experience for me was the quality of customer support. The team was responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in helping resolve issues quickly. That level of support builds trust and makes the platform much easier to work with long term.

Pros

The strongest part of is the combination of powerful functionality and excellent support. The platform centralizes bookings, availability, channel management, payments, and product management in one place, which saves a lot of operational time. I also appreciated the flexibility of the API and integrations, as well as how responsive and solution-oriented the support team was whenever we needed assistance. Their willingness to help with technical and operational questions created a very positive experience.

Cons

Some parts of the interface can feel complex or unintuitive at first, especially for new users. Advanced configurations sometimes require trial and error to fully understand. There are also occasional bugs or small UX inconsistencies that could be improved. More modern UI/UX refinements and clearer onboarding documentation would make the platform easier to adopt for smaller teams.

I joined a new company, and bookings were all over the place. Some were managed in a reservation system and some on an Excel sheet. It was taking hours to ensure we had the day planned, not the week, the day. After 2 weeks, I knew something had to change. I have never done a migration like this before, and it was quite daunting. I had used Bokun previously, but never managed a migration. I took the plunge headfirst. Viator connected instantly and synced all bookings, but then... what about the rest: Airbnb, GYG, Website bookings? After a slight panic, I decided to contact Bokun support by chat. This was the shocking part... I connected directly to a human, and before I could even finish typing my question, " \[sensitive content hidden\]" (Bokun customer support) mentioned, "I see you are a new user, would you like me to give you a call and assist with the migration?" The relief of knowing that someone was there to genuinely help was amazing. I was expecting a bot, or for someone to send me a 300-page guideline book, but no, they called me instantly, and the rest is history. Migrated over 1000 clients across 4 channels, and it was seamless. \[sensitive content hidden\] was spectacular and determined to get things done asap. He just understood the urgency of doing this. We have saved hours in operational headaches, double-checking classes, and stress.

Pros

The support from the customer service team. Simplicity in the calendar visibility. Opening and closing classes have never been easier, and the operational reporting is fantastic. We use it daily to make decisions.

Cons

Every OTA has a different format and different data that you can download regarding your bookings. It would have been great for me as a client to download the booking details from each OTA and send them to Bokun to format as they needed.

### "Awful company all around"

Imagine if you had the most entitled people with the worst possible software and the highest limitations, paired with terrible support. Everything broke all the time, you lost money, and then they would blame you. They made every small thing that should be easy difficult for no reason and randomly locked you out of your account for no reason. We lost so much time, money, and effort that it ended up being better to literally build our own reservation system.

Pros

nothing - There's one good guy named \[sensitive content hidden\], who's literally, in his own words, the only support rep in the entire US. Everybody else is overseas, and everything about this company, Xperience Software, is horrible.

Cons

Everything is terrible. Cost is way too high. They're actually stealing data. Integrations break all the time. Bookings have dropped since we started using them because Viator is stealing the data, which is their parent company, so they can get people booked there and then hit you with fees. Overall, awful company, awful experience, awful team. Old school legacy software.

has proven to be reliable, quick to set up, and easy to bring into production with minimal errors. Overall, it meets and even exceeds expectations. That said, I’ll continue to be demanding when it comes to future improvements — but that’s only because the bar has been set high.

Pros

I’ve worked with other platforms before and, without undermining them, has truly been a lifesaver by helping me achieve results in significantly less time. The possibilities it offers are endless, and the system feels very polished and refined.

Cons

Perhaps some specifics related to invoicing or resource usage can be a bit tricky at first, but this is mostly due to the learning curve. Some particular cases aren’t covered in the documentation and require direct support from ’s technical team — which, to be fair, is quite responsive.

Pros

Easier to use compared to other booking systems used in the past, Customer friendly, Very nice presentation to the Customer, and very important extremely quick, efficient and polite Customer Suport team

Cons

I am very new to Bokun and have not found anything yet that puts me off. I have note managed yet to fully explore all its possibilities, and I do not know if it offers some functionality that are quite important to us such as: SMS support to the customer, or local agent management.

The tour management is easy to ,maneuvers, there are no bugs and issues since I had the website for 7 years, security and value for money and a great learning curve!

Cons

The least thing I like about Bokun before, it was some what difficult to commumnicate before, since then the communication is on par, within a few minutes I received a response!!

It is good. They help you a lot and even call. Sometimes it is hard to explain things in email but then it is great to call them. Like it a lot. But the area is complicated for small company with only one tour.

Pros

They call you back when you are in trouble even late, at our time. Maybe yours too. It is easy for costumer to use from our website. They find date and pay and the get email about our tour

Cons

The cost is always high when you are very small company with only 1-3 worker and we only run our tours in summer time. And also when people book their tour in winter for their tour. Because the tour is only in summer time. Then if they or us have to cancel the tour then we have already paid commission to you and we lose money. We don´t get anything

Always excellent, informative and rapid. They are a pleasure to work with, with polite staff who are well trained and versed in their product.

Pros

They respond quickly, are clear and concise and have a comprehensive knowledge of any and all issues you may encounter, and how to resolve them..

Cons

The agents can be quite pushy about asking whether or not you are still connected. I understand that they have a high volume of questions to resolve, but sometimes this is asked immediately after they have stopped messaging me a solution to my issues, before I have had a chance to respond.

I could go on for days but I run Experiences in Cape Town South Africa and needed secure integration with other OTA's and STO's and they have been great

Customer Service is amazing from a team that communicate issues and go the extra mile to resolve and don't leave you hanging.

Learning curve but once you have it I think its a game changer essentially the support is what closes the gap!

Frustrating. FAQ is not helpful and its hard to find the chat or reach for help inside Bokun.

Pros

The possibility to connect with my own website.

Cons

Its not intuitive. It's very hard to fine-tune your products in there and its very hard to find the information needed to set up the products running.
