Pros: There are a lot of presentation tools out there - perhaps too many. And I'll admit, I've spent too long experimenting with competitors. I always come back to Google Slides, though. Here's what I love most. First, it's cloud-based, so everything is stored in the cloud and automatically saved. Further, I can access it from anywhere on any device. I can collaborate with teammates seamlessly and effortlessly. Next, if you're familiar with the G Suite platform, then Slides will feel natural to you. No need to learn a new interface. With Slides, you have the ability to add all sorts of content to the deck (i.e., videos, audio, images, GIFs, etc.). Beyond creating presentations, it's really the "Swiss Army knife" of the Google apps. It's versatile. You can do so much with it with students (i.e., eBooks, create-your-own-adventure stories, collaborative projects, hyperdocs, etc.). It's truly a versatile tool for classrooms. Slides is also constantly being improved by Google - so I trust and expect that even better things will come. For example, consider that they just recently introduced the Q&A feature which allows you to interact with your audience while presenting. What a great idea! Go with Slides - make the shift, if you haven't already.

Cons: Although I'm a big fan, here are some areas for improvement:

- The standard themes are somewhat lacking. Google has not provided many options, but there are freebies available online (consider Slide Carnival).

- It does not have some of the advances features that some users of PP may be familiar with, but honestly, only a few users need those features so it's not a major concern.

- Because it's not a separate software, you storage ability is linked to your Drive account and the amount of cloud storage you've purchased.

- It's a bit of a learning curve when migrating to the platform, and some may feel a little lost. But I do not think it's overwhelming, nor do I feel that this should deter you from giving it a try.

Overall: Creating and collaborating on beautiful, impactful, and useful presentations.

Pros: I use this in the field of education. I used other platforms prior to Slides (PowerPoint, flipcharts by ActivInspire, HaikuDeck, and a few others); however, Google Slides is the one of I've stuck with. I see pros with each of the previously mentioned platforms, but Google Slides is the clear winner with regards to longevity. Pros:

- It's included with a G Suite account (if you have a Gmail or Drive, you have access to Slides).

- It offers all of the features that a good slide deck needs.

- It's cloud-based so it can be updated across multiple platforms at any time.

- There's even an app that works for editing. And it works well!

- It's collaborative - students and colleagues can work on Slides, together, at the same time. No need to email copy after copy after copy. There's one copy in the cloud that we're all contributing to.

- It's constantly being saved. No need to worry about a computer or app malfunction - it's just always being saved in real time.

- Add-ons are available by independent developers that make it even more powerful.

- It's easy to integrate features from across your Drive account (images, graphs, even YouTube videos).

Cons: I see no real cons. Some may argue that other platforms may have more advanced features, but in all honesty, how many of us really need/use those advanced features? I'm guessing very few of us. Just make the switch - you won't be sorry.

Overall: Presenting instructional content, making eBooks, sharing ideas, collaborating with peers, etc.

Pros: Google Slides is another excellent offering in the Google Suite that provides many of the functionality of other office suites. Slides takes on the function of presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Prezi.

The main benefits of using Google Slides and the other offerings is that it is free and offers very easy online collaboration, allowing multiple people to edit the same document simultaneously. With the collaboration function, there is also a chat to allow present collaborators to communicate. While other suites have collaboration now, Google Suites was the first and remains the easiest to use.

Slides has a clean and easy to use interface, offering many of the same tools as its competitors. It offers easy to use and modifiable templates as well as an easy way to embed media such as images and audio.

Exporting is also excellent in Google Slides, offering many different print options for multiple slides per page and options for outlines or notes on the printouts. Slides can also export in formats such as .pdf and .pptx for offline saving and presenting in Microsoft.

Cons: Other suites offline functionality is better compared to Google Slides, as you need to have an online connection to natively present Google Slides. You need to download your Slides presentation into a format like .pdf or .pptx in order to present offline. This is an issue that is more unique to Google Slides when compared to the other Google Suite offerings.

Some of the functions present in Google Slides are not as robust compared to the tools in the Microsoft or other suites. This includes animations, fonts, visualization and graphing, templating, and master slides functionality.

Pros: -Switch from Power Point to here is easy. I haven't found a feature that on Power Point but not on Google Slides

-Creating presentations with a group or team is a breeze. Share the presentation with Edit turned on and all your members can work on it from there computer where ever they are. If working at the same time you can turn chat on and communicate while working on the presentation.

-If you are the team lead, you can have your team review your presentation, but instead of editing they can "make suggestions" of things to add. You can then add what they suggested or not with a click of a button.

-When giving your presentation you can share with people with view only on. They can follow your presentation from their device but cannot make edits.

-Access your presentation anywhere you have internet.

-Easy to download to PDF

Cons: -Always bring a downloaded backup. If you don't have internet access, you cannot access your presentation.

-Be careful when building a presentation and you are working on the same slide at the same time. If you are both working in the same spot, it will only save one of your work.

Overall: I created prenations for my class daily. I then download it as a PDF and open it on my iPad and mirror it to the projector. I write all over the presentation with Notes. Currently there is not a way to do that directly on Google Sheets and that is why I download it to PDF and use a different App.

Pros: Google Slides is a great tool to collaborate on presentations. It is easy to use and as long as you and your colleagues have an email hosted by Google or a free Gmail account, all of you can effortlessly collaborate on it. The real-time edits are great although I have found sometimes when multiple people are working on a slide at the same time, there are sometimes some savings issues. However, the auto-saver is great, no longer having the fear of accidentally closing the window and losing your progress. There are premade templates that can give your presentation a professional look to it, even if you aren't comfortable with making your own. This makes it clean and simple. Another feature I like about Google Slides is the speaker notes. This allows you to have your information, visuals, etc. displayed while you can have your own notes that the audience does not see. Finally, a great way to avoid confusion when working together is the chat which allows all contributors to talk to one another and able to clear up any confusion.

Cons: The only con I have with Google Slides is that you need an internet connection do work on your projects. However, when the time comes to present, you can easily download a copy offline that you can't edit but can show and that has worked enough times for me. If you do have internet connection, connection to a display is easy.

Overall: Overall, I have used Google Slides in everything from school projects to business projects and it has never let me down.

Pros: As I student, I have to do lots of presentations - and most of the times, I have to work together with classmates. Compared to other competitors, collaborate working is definitely one of the strengths of Google Slides. Microsoft Powerpoint, for example, offers this feature, but it's nowhere near the performance and feature-set of Google Slides.

As a Google product, Google Slides is always gorgeously implemented in the Google ecosystem - this way, all your presentations and documents are always synced, you won't forget them at home.

The feature-set is okay, but nothing special. You're certainly able to create basic to more complex presentations with different types of media, very simple but good-looking designs and all kinds of design elements - for a students belongings, I have nothing to complain.

Lastly, I would like to mention the ease of use: all colleagues I've worked with understood the application within seconds, in most cases, I didn't have to explain anything.

Cons: The feature-set of Google Slides is nothing special, you might miss some more complex scientifical features like 3D diagrams or transitions and templates.

The fact that Google Slides is a web-application is for me a bonus, but friends told me, they would have prefered a standard Windows program - but that criticism is not that important.

Overall: All in all, Google Slides files the student's gap of a collaborative application for presentations. It's very easy to work together with colleagues on very good-looking and possibly even more complex presentations. It might not have the feature set of some expensive and more hard to use programs, but for me, that's not a big deal.

Pros: i decided to test it to the limit by using Google Slides to create and present my final MSc dissertation. It flawlessly worked. No connection issues, everything was smooth, clean, no mistakes, i had to go back and forth many times and it did what it was intended to. No crashes, no fear to lose what i've done. And it saves versions in the background for each time you open the project.

The main benefit for me was during the creation because sometimes i added info from my laptop, my desktop computer, several times from different friends computers and many times from my smartphone and that was a bless. That way i reduced times and efforts in creating the presentation and allowed me to add what ever i needed from my phone.

As simple as drag and drop, use many available icons, edit pictures, round edge pictures and a lot of options without having too much options as other presentation tools. Drag pictures from internet, Interface is clean and simple, easy to find options. To have my final dissertation here meant i left everything in google's hands and it was worth it. Easy, beautiful, trusted, fast and free? What a no brainer!

There is way to add free or paid icons using the Playstore.

Cons: There is room to improve in the graphic design of some icons so Google can imprint their own style.

Overall: This is the best tool i've tested, im fully pleased with it. Of course you cant have it all, but as an overall this app wins by far.

My personal opinion on Google Slides.

Pros: The thing that I like the most about this product is that it's a free slideshow creation tool. It also has really solid collaboration tools and an excellent audience question submission tool. It also comes with a tutorial which really makes it easy to learn about and use. What I also love about this product is that you can use it immediately. There's nothing to download as it's online, nothing to pay, etc. As long as you have a Google account, you'll immediately have the features to create and present a presentation in a snap of a finger. This is truly the best free presentation site that you'll probably ever find!

Cons: There's not as many cons than pros that I have about this software. All I can really say is that there's no desktop app, you can't export to a video, can't import audio, and the transitions are very limited. This also goes for the selection of effects in the product.

Overall: I've used this in school multiple times when having to do a project. I present my thoughts and information on this site, it's really easy to use and can be made in a very few minutes.

Pros: My fellow directors in my company needed to present together but we are rarely actually together. Instead of emailing back and forth or even worse having to meet in person to go over our slides-we all simply used google slides from the comfort of our own offices. Google slides makes ease of presentation on presentation day because we aren't all switching to new documents-all of our contributions are in one place! Also, we were able to see each others slides to create a uniform look. When I needed my slides reviewed before my presentation my boss was simply able to log on and view instead of having to send back and forth. So easy!

Cons: The software at times runs extremely slow! I usually just need to restart the program and that would fix it but I didn't love that. Also, it can be a tad tricky to figure out how to use all the effects. Another director tried to guide me over the phone-it would be helpful if I could turn on being able to see their actions so I could learn from them. She ended up just doing all my editing for me which isn't ideal for her--but did work out for me! ha!

Overall: Using google slides for our group presentations has created ease, flow, consistency and simplicity to my companies staff trainings. It is helpful to be able to see all of my co-directors progress as I complete my portion of the presentation. I loved that I could copy slides from my co-director so that our theme (colors and layouts) were similar. It made the presentation look much more professional!

Pros: Google has provided us with a collaborative tool for making presentation slides online. Works best with group/teammates working on the same deck as you can see in realtime their edits, there's a space for a chat, and there's a revert to previous versions available.

There are many templates available, which seem pretty decent and some even professional looking and attractive. Of course, it is linked to your Google account and drive so no worries of having the file missing (or not saved in the USB when it's time to present).

Cons: Compatibility with Powerpoint (.pptx) files. My experience is that the formatting gets messed up. This is understandable though since there may be a mismatch with the fonts, and the file handling done by proprietary Microsoft. That's why just do you presentation as simple as possible (in terms of design and fonts), and best if you start and finish all the work from Google sheets at the outset.

Pros: Google slides is a great and easy to use online tool to create, format and show presentations. Similar to the other online tools of Google Suite, one main advantage of Google Slides is the collaborative aspect. I love how easy is to work on a presentation with other people at the same time, and how simple is to share the slides with other people (you just need to send a link). Another thing I love about Google Slides is the fact a browser is enough to start creating or editing a presentation. This is very convenient since in many cases I use computers that do not have a presentation software installed.

Cons: Although I enjoy the simplicity of Google Slides, I wish the tool had more complex features similar to other presentation programs. For instance, the animations available on Google Slides are very limited. When I need to make a presentation that requires animations I use another software.

Overall: I use Google Slides often, not only to create and edit presentations but also to see and comment slides from other people. I am often teaching university courses and Google Slides has been an amazing tool in this context. It is easy to receive and comment on the slides of students. My experience with Google Slides has been great. If the tool had more complex features, similar to other presentation programs, the tool would be perfect.

Pros: Being in digital marketing field, on daily basis, I need to make so many proposals for my clients. Google slides help me there. I can't tell you how easy it is. You can choose different layout as per your choice. Vast range of font style. Along with that, you can insert the images just by coping form google search and paste. Other than that, go to upload an image by searching it on the same tab from google. Also you can import different layout for the presentation. This has been saviour for me since last 3.5 years.

Cons: Talking about the cons, I haven't find anything which I least like about it.

Overall: Overall, as I said, its a boon for me in this corporate world when I need to make many presentation for my clients. Whether it is, showcasing company profile, or project proposal. Google slides helps us making presentation with ease. Having lots of color options and layout options. Image insertion or charts. Everything is way to easier...

Pros: Excellent software. Here's some of the things I love most!

- Autosave: No need to push save or wonder if a low battery or unexpected glitch is going to wipe out your progress. It all saves automatically!

-Accessibility from anywhere! All you have to do is log in from your google account. No need to tote around a flash drive with your presentation, or anything like that.

-Sharing! Perfect for collaboration. You can work with others easily, and control your sharing settings easily

-Simplicity: Clean designs for straightforward presentations

Cons: These aren't necessarily cons to me for what I've needed this for.

-Haven't been able to find a way to easily change the colors of a template. Not a huge deal, but something I wish you could do more easily

Overall: This is the perfect software for someone who needs simple, easy presentations, especially if you're on the go, using different computers.

Pros: It is an app that allows users to make highly customizable presentations. It has all the features needed, from templates for whole presentations, to templates for individualized slides (which are all generally very stylized and with excellent designs). It provides multiple options for adding colors, elements like charts, images, wordart, animations, objects, and more, and presents them in a very neat format, that makes it easy to use for anyone.

It also provides some unique options that I had never seen before:

- It has a Close Captioned option in the Presentation mode. This works only in English, but can provide a Close Caption within the presentation while the speaker is talking.

- There is a pointer also in Presentation mode, which means you don't have to rely on physical pointers while presenting.

- Also on Presentation mode you have the option to give your audience a link for them to submit questions, and later you can present the ones you are most interested in answering.

- When adding elements like images or videos, it gives you the option to directly search on Google for whatever you need, which saves some time that would've been spent copying and such.

Overall, it is an amazing option for anyone making presentations, especially if they have a low budget.

Cons: IT has very few drawbacks, although it might be difficult to personalize more beyond a certain level. Some of the newer options (like the CC in presentations) also need work, since it can make mistakes that might not make it very useful throughout a formal presentation.

Overall: It is a great tool for showing project results to a large audience, and it allows for aninteractive experience with listeners, since they can participate both in person and via online questions, which is a completely novel experience for me. It is a great tool, I would recommend it 100%!

Pros: The presentation software does everything you could ask of it, allowing you to integrate content form all of the google platforms, collaborate, modify, and present with no issues. I have had no problems saving or converting across powerpoint files,.

Cons: I truly have not had a single concern come up that hasn't been addressed through customer support, including the extensive network of user responses on the google support forums.

Overall: As an educator, content creator, and education management collaborator, this software allows me to create presentations that can guide the learning for everyone in the building. I use, share, and modify, google slides literally every single day of my professional life because they are EASY to use and work on every device. Giving visible access to students, or non-trusted staff, lets me save the hassle of printing, while still providing access to the key content.

Pros: Google slide let me create and edit my presentations from anywhere ,and with any smart device which let me access the internet.I also think Google slide has got similarities with Microsoft Powerpoint and this was beneficial to me when I made a switch from Powerpoint to Google slides years ago.

Using Google slides to create presentations ,I am left unworried about the possibility of my presentation size getting too bulky and potentially crashing ; at least this has never happened to me using Google slides.

Lastly and very importantly too, Google slide autosaves my presentations to the cloud, keeping me in save hands if I ever forget to save my presentations.

Cons: While the Google slide interface is quite similar to that of Microsoft Powerpoint ,it is however not as intuitive or as user friendly and I will think a new user to presentations will have a faster learning curve with Powerpoint than with Google slides.

Overall: Google Slides makes the process of sharing presentations with my colleagues before meetings a breeze. Not minding what presentation tool some of my colleagues use, they still get to open my presentations on whatever presentation tool they use personally.

Pros: Google Slides is a free software made by Google. It is accessible anywhere as long as you have an internet connection. Users don't need to install anything to be able to use it. Another great thing is, the presentations are saved automatically, so you don't need to constantly pressing the save button. It can save a lot of time! Also, the presentations are easily shareable.

It's very user-friendly and it also allows the users to collaborate with his/her team. We love using it, specially the collaboration function. We can edit the presentation at the same time without tripping over one another.

Cons: There are some features missing like, users cannot adjust the colors of the themes, you can only embed YouTube videos and some fancier effects like reflections and 3D.

Pros: This is just like Power point but in a web browser. You can do pretty much the same thing and you don't need to install clunky software. You just build your project right there in the web browser. It has all the features of Power point but in a simpler interface and with the ability to collaborate in real time with other people on the creation of your project. Then when you are done all you need is a web browser to present your project. Easy peasy!

Cons: No real drawbacks to this program unless you don't like storing your files in the cloud while you work on them.

Overall: This is a great program that my Kids love to use they make presentations all the time to show the family and for school. I use it for work myself to create great presentations for customers to show them what I can do. This is a very versatile tool

Pros: I only knew about Power Point but while out I decided to buy a laptop and purchased a Chromebook. I had to familiarize myself with it and noticed it ran everything through Google and had apps on it. One of which was Google Slides. My class had an assignment that required a presentation and I had no clue what that was or how to do it. I contacted my instructor and she laughed but tried to explain his to get it done. I decided to explore or play around with the application. I watched YouTube as well. I cane up with the information I wanted to use then added it to each slide. I shared the result with my instructor and made changes for a better grade. I was able to work offline and noticed the information synced across my devices on its own. I was still learning about clouds etc. so I never checked to see if the presentation was there. I used regular fonts and colors then but now I am much better at designing presentations.

Cons: The software worked fine for me. I had no issues with it or any changes to suggest. It is free and doesn't take up a lot of space so it is good with me.

Pros: I love how simple Google Slides is to use. I have never had issues with it unless the internet is not working, but if I am worried about that I can always just download the slides beforehand so that isn't a concern. In my experience in using Powerpoint, it is buggy and often has issues when I need it to work(like when I am presenting) but I have never had an issue with Slides. It just works, and that is what I need.

The biggest difference I have seen is in the collaboration. When trying to collaborate in Powerpoint, it is a mess. Often things I have changed will get erased when another user saves his version. Google is the master in collaboration and it is seamless. Our team has never had issues when working on the same document.

Cons: Google Slides does have it's limitations. The fact is it just isn't as powerful as Powerpoint and doesn't have as many features (animations, templates, etc). One thing that bugs me is how you can't really embed videos in the slides. You just have to put a youtube link in and then go to that link. Not a huge deal, but kind of annoying to have to switch over.

Pros: What I like most about this tool is that it offers a large number of presentation topics, sources, the possibility of inserting videos, animations and many other options. Another advantage is that it allows you to work in a team easily and comfortably, because several users can work simultaneously on the same presentation. In addition, all changes made to the presentations are automatically saved, even allowing you to use the revision history to view previous versions of the presentation.

Google slides is the ideal tool to create presentations because it is very easy to use, is web-based and also offers multiple innovative tools.

Cons: Compared to other similar software, google slides is very limited and offers fewer options in terms of design. In addition, to use it you need to have a gmail account and have a stable internet connection.

Overall: Google slides facilitates the creation of web-based presentations, its powerful tools and functionalities make it the ideal tool to work in a team. I use it quite often, my experience has been quite satisfactory and the best part is that it is totally free.

Pros: - Fast, free, online PowerPoint alternative

- Everything is stored in your Google Drive account and it's pretty much always up to date, since it's saved automatically

- You can also add extensions and new themes to further increase its functionality

Cons: - Larger presentations seem to drag down the workflow.

- Not every PowerPoint feature is present within Google Slides yet.

- It's not quite easy to make micro-changes to text or images.

Overall: These days, with all the Google Slides improvements, it's hard to even recommend PowerPoint. I use Slides on a daily basis and I'm always surprised at how well it works, in an online environment. Pushing images, videos and text and saved pretty much instantly in the cloud. Templates are easy to import and use. Sharing works great. The experience just rocks!

Pros: I like that I can collaborate with my colleagues in real time while working on our presentations. Google Slides has the same basic functionality as other presentation software. However, the online collaboration and sharing feature really make it the most efficient and effective presentation tool out there. I can make last minute changes and updates to important slides and then share them with our clients across the world in minutes. The offline capability of Google Slides is impressive too as you can edit slides without internet access.

Cons: I could always use more templates for different types of presentations.

Overall: Creating impressive and informative slides for presentations and reports to clients is incredibly easy.

Pros: Unparalleled ability to collaborate in real-time and the relative simplicity of getting started are both key. Despite its relatively rudimentary design capabilities, once you have the ability to collaborate on a deck with your team so easily, it's really hard to go back to any other platform.

Cons: The rudimentary design capabilities, lack of consistent product improvements, and litany of small but nagging issues that plague the platform (bullet consistency, copying and pasting while retaining the right formatting, even printing to pdf sometimes creates visual quirks). As with many of its products, it's "good enough" but not quite "great", yet somehow it becomes an essential part of my daily life.

Pros: Obviously everyone is familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint. It's what we all used when we were young and it's what we were all taught on and still is widely used amongst all big companies. But, that's not a reason not to know and learn about Google slides. First off, this is a free product. So there's that. Also, this is made by Google, a company that always performs in terms of software so they obviously know what they are doing. Google slides can do everything that PowerPoint can do. It's also on the web... So just imagine, you can log in to any computer or laptop or phone and have your presentation ready. No longer do you need to save your PowerPoint to a thumb drive and carry the thing and worry about it having to work on whoever's laptop that you are using. Google slides let's you simply log in to your Google account and Bam! Your slides are right there for you to use. It's got all the features of PowerPoint as well so don't think you're losing anything. In fact, I really like the Google slides user interface just like any other Google product, they really think about the user and the end user. It's got really nice themes and settings and is really convenient to use. And since it's Google, it's really easy to share with someone immediately or if you're working with someone on the slide you can work simultaneously just like a Google doc. I really think Google slides is being slept on by a lot of people because it's really that much better and more efficient than PowerPoint.

Cons: It does still require you to sign in with a Google account to create a slide but the benefits outweigh this necessity for sure.

Pros: The online ability to share has been most beneficial to our organization. We're a church which has a lobby monitor to show and highlight church and community activities. Google's online share functionality allows those who have a vested interest in an event or fundraiser can have ownership of and access to the Slides program and to update their own information. The Slides program is simple enough that even people who have not used a Powerpoint like program have had no issues in working with and producing their slide.

Cons: We use Slides to present on our Lobby monitor, we allow users to add and update slides but the drawback is that the Slides Presentation doesn't update automatically when a new slide is added or one deleted. it's not the end of the world as the computer furnishing the display sits in the office and an office person just needs to hit the F5 key to refresh, but it is an inconvenience for us and would make more sense if Google allowed for realtime presentation updates when updates are made to Slides.

Pros: It's free, and it works really good for a free service. As a college student, I'm often needing to do presentations and speeches and this is a good thing to rely on. It does not have many glitches at all and it automatically saves for you so you can easily access your same project on another computer. I also like that you can share your slide with your group so others can work on it as well instead of you making the slide yourself.

Cons: The only negative I can think of is lack of designs and transitions. And sometimes it takes a while to organize my slides as I need a text box for everything I type and it's hard to put those text boxes in the right place. Same with pictures, there is a lot of organizing and rearranging to do after putting the picture in the slide.

Overall: I like it. It's very convenient and unlike any other online programs, it's easy to save. What I like most is you can access your project on any computer and just finish your project from where you leave off at. Other than the annoying text boxes and organizing, this is usually the first program I would go to to do any project.

Pros: If you have been put to death by PowerPoint before maybe the next time you should recommend they use Google Slides. Google Slides are a seamless transition from PPT. Slides can be shared and the team can collaborate on the presentation. Slides can also be worked on by any internet connected device. We also use Slide for our digital sign in multiple buidlings spanning different counties.

Cons: Slides could still use an update. I think they could offer a Prezi type presentation option. Make your slides and then press the magic button and BOOM the boring death by PPT presentation is something more than a talking head reading the slide to you.

Pros: Google Slides is free and makes it easy to create and access presentations from all of my devices. It also supports collaboration, which makes it easy for multiple people at a workplace or workgroup to work together on presentations ; resulting in presentations being done faster, and with better quality too.Since multiple people working together will likely arrive at a better quality, than a singular individual working on presentations all by themselves.

Cons: Google Slides is free to use and therefore I probably do not anticipate to get the same quality I will get from paid alternatives.More importantly too,I do very basic presentations and Google slides covers that need very well.

Overall: Google slides enable me create presentations at a moments notice.Because it is browser based,I am always able to access past presentations or create new ones ,provided I have got a mobile smart device ,tablet,pc or MacBook within reach. Also ,it has saved me money in terms of monthly subscriptions I use to pay on my Microsoft office ,which I stopped paying since 2014 when I began using Google apps.

Pros: As with all G-Suite products, where Slides really shines is in the collaboration features. We had a production team from multiple disciplines (instruction, art, engineering) all use Slides as a way to collaborate and it was very robust and always in sync. The features set is good enough for most uses.

Cons: The feature set is not unique, and it's limitations are often frustrating for advanced use. For example, the weird limitations on how video or audio is handled can be frustrating. I often find myself designing outside the product, and then importing what I have designed elsewhere to be used in the presentation. The interface is ugly, but fine.

Pros: I love that there are many different sized and styles of slide templates. There are a range of themes which can change the look, colour and professional look of the overall presentation.

Cons: I wish there were more themes to choose from and possibly having some animation style characters as the themes are clean cut, professional and elegant but sometime it would be nice to have a much more urban look

Overall: The business problems that I have solved is that I used the slides to create online webinar content and online courses that I use to teach for many online platforms and my own website.

I love that you can use video links, add pictures and sound links to podcasts too so it is not just looking at pictures all the time.

Pros: This software is very user friendly, it has an appealing appearance and it is easy to use. It includes many useful tools organized into sections for the user to experience. Google Slide includes many transitions, themes, and some cool templates to use. The big benefit of Google Slides is that you can share this slides with your work partner by just sending him an invitation via email.

Cons: One big con with this software was the lack of templates it has. Google Slides includes very few templates to choose from and they are all very simple. Also when you have a weak connection, the software often stops and tries to reconnect to you network .

Overall: Overall, Google Slides is a great presentation software made by Google which allows you to create, and share your own presentations. It has all the tools you need to edit your presentations. It also includes the ability to share and edit your presentation online with your work partners or boss. I really recommend this software for students in school/university and also for companies who often present information.

Pros: Google Slides is a cloud-based platform, very useful, practical and free. One of its advantages is that it allows you to insert YouTube videos in presentations easily and without problems of incompatibility with the formats. In addition, when creating presentations with this software it is possible to activate the option to ask questions (Q & A), which allows the audience to ask questions to the speaker through a link. Another of its advantages is that it allows to write the notes by means of the voice. It is a truly innovative tool that allows collaboration between several members simultaneously.

Cons: Compared to other software, Google Slides offers many less options in terms of effects, themes, etc. The design options are really limited and the appearance of the presentations is really basic. Finally, to use Google Slides you need to have a gmail account.

Overall: This tool is really useful to create, edit and store slide shows on equipment. Google slides is very versatile and functional.

Pros: Considering it's free, Google Slides is integral to my daily activities. Being able to access and edit from any location is an enormous plus. It's easy to add text and images, share and collaborate with others, and incorporate with other Google drive products.

Cons: I find that it often loads very slowly and sometimes disconnects randomly. I have to wait for it to reconnect even though the rest of my internet is fine. When this happens, I can't present the slides properly even if they are all ready to go.

Overall: The ability to access on the go or from any computer, work or personal, is invaluable. Also being able to share with coworkers and add comments and notes.

Pros: Delivering presentations is something I need to do everyday, be it to clients for a sales pitch or training my vendors or staff. The biggest problem was carrying my personal Laptop where ever I needed to make a presentation and then set it up with projectors and other equipment at the place of delivering the presentation. Now I prepare my PPTs on Google Slides, they get automatically stored in the cloud and I simple log in to my Google account from the computer the organisers where I am speaking has already set up and get right on with it. Besides that it is a very handy tool providing me with two screens, one where I can see my slide notes and the other one containing the actual slides which gets projected on to the screen.

Cons: Though powerful, Slides lacks in a big way from more traditional apps like MS-Powerpoint especially in the Animation and Custom Animation sections. What we can do in slides while animating an object in a customized manner is very very limited. Even the built in animations leaves a lot to be desired in terms of the choices provided and smoothness of the animation.

Pros: Affordable: Slides, being part of the Google Docs office suite, is completely free to use and thus one does not have to pay any license fee to acquire it as is the case with Microsoft's PowerPoint.

Accessibility: The two things that you'll need to run Slides are a Google account and an active internet connection. It doesn't require any installation on your system as it is cloud-based.

Collaboration: It gives you the ability to easily collaborate with your coworkers and peers with each adding their own expertise in order to achieve the best possible result.

Cons: Lack of Template Diversity: Slides does come with a gallery of templates but it certainly doesn't match up to the thousands of custom made templates and graphic elements offered by PowerPoint.

Basic Animations: You can use Slides for creating presentations with basic animations and transition effects whereas it's rival, PowerPoint offers much advanced features and powerful effects (3D, reflections, etc.) which are available in the desktop-based version.

Overall: It helps to make presentations that require teamwork as it is easily accessible across devices with an active connection thus allowing everyone to share their ideas. You get live updates for the changes made to any file and the fact that it's free makes it a great presentation tool to have.

Pros: Google Slides collaborative capabilities are hard to beat. Multiple users can simultaneously edit, add or delete slides. It is easy to see who is editing what part of the presentation at any given time. The simplistic templates in Google Slides honestly make more engaging presentations. The softer colors and typography makes the content more appealing for audiences.

Google Slides also sync effortlessly across multiple devices using Google Drive. Not many softwares allow users to edit a slide on a smartphone 5 minutes before a class presentation. It is this ease of use and elegant styling that makes Google Slides effective for both personal, school and professional settings.

Cons: Where Google Slides does struggle is in formatting equations. The equation creator is very restrictive, and not user friendly. I often resort to pasting screenshots of equations from Word or Latex into my Google Slides. Making subscripts and superscripts is also cumbersome since there isn't an available tool bar shortcut, and the cursor also doesn't change size to notify you that you are writing a subscript or superscript. I think that improvements in the technical formatting options would help greatly improve Google Slides, and help market it more towards technical and business applications.

Pros: Google Slides is a solid alternative for anyone that does not need to be within the Microsoft Office economy of products. The majority of the familiar features from PowerPoint are present with the exception of Microsoft's robust collection of high quality themes.

Collaboration is seamless. Anyone with a Google account can be invited to participate in creating and viewing the content. Slides can be shared via URL or cast to anything that supports Googles screen cast functionality such as a connected display or Chromecast.

Cons: Probably the single biggest con is simply the barrier created by existing software such as the ubiquity of Microsoft Office. Pushing users onto a brand new platform is a painful and lengthy process.

Aside from offline functionality, the user experience is contingent on the underlying browser and internet stability rather than the traditional operating system which might negate some use cases entirely.

Pros: Due to the dynamics of the current business world, things are cloud-based or done online. As a result, Google Slides brings about the mobility of preparing the presentation slides. With Google Slides, it is easy and possible to create, edit, and share your slides anytime, and anywhere. The product is very affordable for all, and there are constant improvements from the vendor making it more competitive. Furthermore, in case of any question, Google is always responsive and ready to offer the necessary guidelines.

Cons: Nonetheless, Google Slides still demands more improvements to fit or to fairly compete with PowerPoint. For instance, Google Slides lacks significant animation features, and this makes it less competitive. Again, the user design still demands some more updates, to make it friendly.

Overall: For the purpose of creating, editing, or sharing the presentation slides, Google Slides is a perfect online solution. The vendor seems to understand the dynamics of the current business world, and as a result, bringing the new improvement. The product is affordable, and simple to use. I could recommend any person who has not tried out this item to do it faster.

Pros: Before Google slides I was using traditional presentation software which was provided by default in programs package. But requirements change too fast and while searching a new platform for presentation I found Google Slides. Best feature of Google Slides is photo editing and masking feature after inserting images which was not available in other presentation softwares. With useful tools like cropping, resizing and coloring you can make photos look more naturally in slides. Collaboration feature is also time saver while creating presentations which must be done in a short of time. Another col side Google slides is that presentations which were created in Google slides are available in other presentation software like microsoft powerpoint.

Cons: Overall I am satisfied with Google slides but I have a small suggestion. It would be great if Google slides was available for offline use as well. Because sometimes you can be out of internet coverage area. Browser based mechanism is great but offline setup is also essential when you don't have internet connection.

Pros: Google Slides is great because it allows me to create my team presentations on the go from any computer with internet access. What I love most about Google Slides is that everything is saved in the cloud. I used to have to lug my laptop everywhere if I wanted to work on a presentation. It also allows me more time to spend with my family from home, since I start my presentations at work and finish them at home.

Cons: For the most part Google Slides is very similar to PowerPoint. The one thing I dislike about slides is that sometimes the cloud may be down or is not working correctly, so I am not able to work on my presentation during those times. It doesn't happen too often, but it has happened once or twice. It's not a huge issue, since it's not too common.

Overall: I used Google Slides to create my team sales trainings. It's pretty easy to create and launch for my team. My peers enjoy the slides, and usually also requests to have them sent via email after the presentations.

Pros: Easy collaboration. I love using Google Slides to prepare presentations with my team. We can be editing the same document at the same time, leaving notes underneath the slides, leaving comments, assigning roles and tasks, and more. We never have to worry about it getting out of sync, and it's all saved to the cloud! Plus, Google Slides are free to use!

Cons: When I do need to export to powerpoint if someone we're working with prefers it, the formatting can get a bit screwed up. I haven't had issues exporting to pdf though, so that's helpful at least.

Overall: I used to start with Google Slides to collaborate and then transfer it to powerpoint for the actual presentation. Over time, I've started to love the entire experience of Google Slides and now present from there as well. An added benefit there is that I don't need to send the powerpoint presentation to the presenting computer - I can just log into my Google account or share the link. That means I can also be editing the presentation right up until it starts :D

Pros: As usual, since google slides is a product of google, there will be no installation required and it is free. Just like other google products. All you need is a gmail account, internet and a computer/laptop or smart phone. Yes! You heard it right. You can access, edit and share it using your smart phone whenever and wherever you are.

Google slides have been very helpful in my career specially that we often have presentations. It is user friendly and easy to use. I love the idea that the storage is cloud-based. You can collaborate with other people even though you are not together. There was an instance that my team had to prepare a presentation and what we did is that we did our presentation at home. We simply edit our part and save it. No need to save and send the file, then save it again and send it again, then save it again and send it again and so all over again. The good thing with google slides is that once you successfully saved your file, others will be able to see the modifications/changes made. That easy!

Cons: What else can I ask for a free application? Maybe if there's only one thing I can say, is that some of powerpoint features is not on google slides.

Pros: If you're using G Suite or have a Gmail account, you have access to Slides. It offers all the features you'd find in any standard presentation software. Also it is cloud-based so your work is always automatically saved. Finally, the accompanying mobile app is pretty decent. It's also worth mentioning, if you work with learners who need to access the file at the same time, Slides has wonderful collaborative capabilities.

Cons: Because it is cloud-based, you need internet access to get the full benefits above. That said, I've found the function of what you need in a general presentation software is there, however there is no more and no less. Also, because the program is cloud-based, always bring a downloaded version of your presentation just in case you really needed it.

Overall: As a teacher, I often create presentations for my class. Google Slides is a nice little tool that has made the process of prep time go much easier.

Pros: Google slides is the most practical, useful software to create presentations. I often give training to clients, and I create slideshow presentations as well as video tutorials to do my training.

The benefit of Google Slides over powerpoint is that you can add in your own company's visual identity - specifically talking about fonts - and they'll be displayed when you view the presentation on another computer.

Unlike powerpoint, where you use fonts and it's a touch-and-go situation on whether the fonts will be displayed on the other computer that you're going to use to present on (spoiler: fonts that you've custom added to powerpoint will never show on another computer, and it ruins the entire professionalism of your presentations when you are presenting a slide show with missing fonts that are either too big or too small).

If you've done any kind of presentation where you prepared it on your computer but presented it on another computer, you will empathise with misery I'm talking about here.

Cons: I'd love to be able to add gifs to my slideshow presentations.

I added one at the end of a presentation once and it merely showed up as an image, and not a gif. So that was disappointing.

Pros: I love the fact that multiple people can be working on the same slides project at one time. Another great feature is that you can go back and see when edits were made and by who so that everyone is on the same page. It will even tell you all the new edits that have been made since you logged on last so you are easily caught up on the work that has been done by your teammates.

Cons: I do not like that it can be glitchy at times. If too many people are working on the same slides project at a time things do not tend to load correctly. I also do not like how long it took me to upload a video. However, this might have been my faulty internet connection.

Overall: Overall, Google slides has made my life a whole lot easier. As a Physical Therapist doing research I work in teams quite a bit. It is inconvenient to meet up in person to work on a powerpoint. Google Slides has made it so we do not have to be at the same place to work on a project together.

Pros: Slides is subscription free and this was the primary reason,I moved from Powerpoint to Slides. It is Cloud based, allowing me to create and access my slide presentations from everywhere. Also worth noting is how user friendly it is,therefore I had a fast learning curve when I migrated from Powerpoint.

Lastly and very importantly,I like the level of file security I get with Google slides ,in that all of my presentations are saved in the cloud(DRIVE) in real time, and this makes it impossible for me to loose my presentations due to a power -cut ,or even if my PC breaks down suddenly.

Cons: Considering this is subscription free,I do not deem it proper to begin to compare with Powerpoint ,Prezi or any of the other paid presentation tools I have used.

Overall: Google slides is my go-to program anytime I need to create a presentation, either for personal or business use.More importantly too,it has saved me monthly subscription fees for the last three year.

Pros: Googles Slides is one of the few presentation-style programs to be entirely cloud-based, thus allowing an almost seamless ability for teams to work in tandem on the same presentation. Additionally, the comment chains and +users has improved my teams workflow exponentially, due to ease of communicating feedback.

Cons: There is a limited supply of fonts and options for use in presentations, which does tend to streamline presentations, but can be an annoyance for those trained on other programs that have extra bells and whistles.

Pros: Google sides is fairly easy to use. It is really good to use for a presentation in school. It helps organize and present information easily using all sorts of different functions similar to google docs functions.

Cons: Google slides is organized well but finding certain functions can sometimes be difficult. Also, when changing the layout of a slide, it can sometimes mess up information already on a slide.

Overall: Google slides has been very beneficial for me with job presentations and previous school. It is all around a useful tool that can be used in many different ways.

Pros: Google Slide is intuitive and comes with a friendly user interface. I am provided with customization options, albeit limited. It is easy to share my presentations with colleagues working with me on the same project and also I have had very little issues accessing Powerpoint created presentations on my Google Slides.

Cons: Google slides keep me stuck with a similar theme and background for all my presentations. While uniformity is a good thing, Google slides I think takes it too far.

Overall: I use Google Slides to put project ideas and metrics into presentations which I share with my colleagues at team meetings. Google Slides enable me complete these presentations quickly,as I simply collaborate with my other team members in real time : doesn't matter even if I am not physically within the office.

Google slides integration with other Google apps. only makes it easier to save and create my presentations ,import files into my presentations and share my presentations with no hassle.

Pros: Once again I believe that like all other software in the G Suite I absolutely love and enjoy using. It does everything that PowerPoint lets you do, but with the addition of real-time editing and commenting with other members, presentations can be created with members who are in different locations thus limiting face to face meetings (the best thing about it).

Cons: Google Slides is yet another tool in the G Suite that needs a stable and available internet connection which is both its biggest strength and flaw.

Pros: As a professional in digital marketing, I often rely on Google Drive programs to collaborate with internal team members and clients alike. Google Slides are an excellent way to display a presentation for items such as social media content calendars or planning documents. It makes it extremely easy to work and assign tasks to team members, even if we are all working remotely as everyone can access!

Cons: Google Slides does not offer the same design capabilities as other presentation software options.

Pros: For me the huge pros is that this tool is Google drive based (cloud) and it may be edited and vieved by couple people at the same time. Those features are the most importtant ones as I prefer not to be connected to the device I am working on and be able to work from many places wherever broadband connection is available. Also, possibility of working and editing by couple of people at the same time is perfect feature for time saving as we can create presentations at the same moment and we do not have to glue the information together as in some other popular tools.

Cons: The one and important issue I do not like about Google Slides that it lacks some important features other popular tools have.

Overall: As a person who works remotely I realy like all the tools which are cloud based and can be edited by the couple of people at the very same time. It helps save time --> money.

Pros: For the last five years I havn't bothered to open Powerpoint because Google Slides is better and doesn't cost a dime. One of my favorite features is being able to collaborate with others all online.

Cons: Google Slides isn't a full powerpoint replacement, so some of the features are missing. However that doesn't mean it isn't worth being used.

Pros: I absolutely love that my coworkers and I are all able to add content to slides at the same time and be able to present in real time. I will be projecting the slides during a meeting and the end of the presentation will already reflect updated content by the time we get there as co-workers have been updating in the background.

Cons: I don't like how un-creative Google Slides is. It's very difficult to try and get content into the slides in a way we would like. Typically we will just add in screenshots from another design program which usually works fine but that's the only Con about the program for me.

Pros: It is simple and it follows the format of most other Google products, so being accustomed to those makes it very easy to start up with using Slides. Also, Slides templates can be found very easily on other sites online. It is responsive and doesn't eat up too much battery on your computer (and no local storage). And, like other Google products, it can be downloaded as a different file type if needed, which is very helpful.

Cons: Unlike Microsoft Powerpoint which provides many theme options and has a wide selection of options for how to arrange your slide elements based on what you put in (including images, text, etc), Google Slides offers relatively minimal artistic flair and templates found inside are very simple, sometimes borderline too basic or unprofessional and they exhaust the eye from being seen so often.

Pros: It is Google app so it has great collaboration tools already included but my favorite less know feature is that when you turn the presenter view you can use your phone as a remote controller or view notes while you are presenting. Also, I like the ability to setup dual screen presenting mode in which on main display it is presenting a presentation and on your local screen you have a nice detailed view of slides - which slide are you currently on, what is comming next and also the ability to give the audience the chance to ask you a question from a link which will be generated.

Cons: As with all Google online apps, user interface is a little unpractical but in return offers a lots of features that even giant like Microsoft still doesnt offer with their commercial PowerPoint. Compability with PowerPoint exist but it is far from perfect. Occasionaly, when I try to save and open or vice versa a presentation on Slides or PowerPoint, I get slides mixed with design or text from next slide.

Overall: If you are doubting for paying license for Microsoft PowerPoint or this free tool you should definitely doubt no more because this free tool offers almost everything like PowerPoint and in some cases even more.

Pros: I bought a Chromebook and it included Google Suite (Docs, Slides and Sheets etc). This app is like Power Point but better. Slides work with your phone, tablet or other device. Works offline, it saves to your device's cloud storage automatically. Select a slide and shape. Choose font, text size text color, line spacing, bullets, and other paragraph setting. Add shapes, copy pictures downloaded from internet or photos, and insert clip art from the tool menu. You can share presentations by links, send it by email, or download it to your device. There are lots of templates to choose from, the ease of being able to switch between different devices is very useful. Offline syncing is the best. Quick and easy to use

Cons: The app works great for me. I have no issues with the app.

Pros:

What I really love about Google Slides is that it is free and available for everyone. It can be accessed from any web browser but there are also Android and iPhone apps available. Although Google Slides might not have as many features as Microsoft PowerPoint or LibreOffice Impress, it has every necessary tool needed to make convincing slideshows. If available tools won't satisfy, there is also an extension library containing user-made extensions.

I think Google Slides is a great tool for students. Sharing slideshows is really easy and students can create and edit slides together. Adding and managing new project members is easy and members can chat with each other with ease. Members can also check version history to see who is responsible for the edits.

Cons:

The biggest problem with Google Slides is that users need an internet connection in order to access their presentations from the cloud. Because Google Slides is a website, it can be slow to open compared to desktop applications and importing existing projects can be complicated for new users. Some people also dislike that Google Slides requires a Google account.

Pros: As with all Google apps, what I like best is how multiple people on my team can be working with and editing at the same time. However, more recently I am so impressed with the offline capability of Google Slides and the ability to edit even when I do not have internet access. It has many (not all) of the features and functionality of the slide program I have used in the past, but with more modern templates and features that you'd expect from google software.

Cons: When making slides to share with co-workers and colleagues, Google Slides is all I need. However, if I needed to create a more advanced and impressive presentation, I'd work in PowerPoint because it does have more features and better templates.

Overall: It's easy to get started if you have a google account, and completely free, so there's nothing to lose.

There's virtually no learning curve, they provide you with designs and templates that encourage good Slideshow design and making presentations can honestly be fun. Especially if you're collaborating with your peers!

Cons: The only improvement I can think of is letting the UI be more customizable. As in, the slides overview should be movable. Comments also shouldn't take up as much space as they do. Perhaps make it possible to completely ignore one by taking it off the screen?

Overall: I love it! After using it once I've never gone back to any other slideshow software.

Pros: Creating slides is part of my daily tasks, which then I use for reports and representations. Google Slides allows easy sharing and creation of presentations. Presentations are highly customizable in Google Slides with more chances to make the slides more personal. Templates are also present for those cases where a report must be done immediately. Sharing these slides are then possible with Google Drive since it integrates with each other so well. Everything seems to be easier with Google Products.

Cons: It is hard to admit that Microsoft Powerpoint is indeed more powerful when it comes to presentation creations. With Google Slides, there are major limitations that can be easily done with Microsoft Powerpoint, such as more organized templates and easier attachment features.

Pros: Google Slides is very simple to use. It is connected directly to your google account and all of your slideshows are stored in one place. I have hundreds of slideshows for different purposes stored on Google, which makes it really easy to navigate for future use. There are many templates that you can use to really have the design you would like. In your presentation, you may include charts, photos, videos, and different fonts.

Cons: Sometimes videos take a long time to load or take you to the actual source of the video, such as youtube. This is inconvenient when it happens, as it wastes a lot of time and I have to reload the entire slideshow. This does not occur with every video but does happen quite often.

Overall: I am in charge of giving orientations to new hires and giving basic training. I use google slides to create slideshows. These usually have only text and photos, but I have had videos on my slides as well. My slideshows look very professional always.

Cons: At the moment ,Google slides provides just around ten preset themes for users and this has gradually made Google presentations a bit boring as thousands of users globally have stuck to these same themes for the past few years.

Cons: While Google Slides is wonderful, and works well if you're able to share the presentation straight from Google, when exporting to any other platform it can create issues within the presentation.

Overall: Google Slides allows me a quick and easy way to create and share presentations on a platform I already use for everything else (mail, documents, etc.)

Pros: I think it's easier to use than Power Point. Slides look beautiful, professional, and you can share them for edit, view only, or both.

Cons: They could develop a faster reader for loading the presentations. But it's not slow or anything.

Overall: Employers and clients have shared Slides with me. It's really easy to edit them (easier than Power Point), and there's no need to launch a whole program for viewing a presentation. Everything is updated in real time.

Pros: Make and Access your presentation at anyplace on the internet. The advantages of utilizing Google Slides is that it is free and offers simple online joint effort, enabling numerous individuals to alter a similar file at a time.

Cons: I am using it regularly although need some improvements.

It has some miss matching problem while export to .pptx, some fonts and layout get imbalanced. furthermore, If you don't have internet access, you cannot access your presentation so for the presentation you need an offline copy but check if it opens in other software as in Google Slides.

Overall: The experience with Google Slides is awesome. Its easy and simple to use and share with others. We the students using it to share and edit slides for the presentation from their places. it autosaves whatever change you make.

Pros: As a Google slide user,I have all of my past presentation within my reach because there is always an auto-saved cloud version of every presentation I create with Google Slides.

Google Slides has encouraged me to collaborate more with my team members in the workplace,as collaboration enhances productivity and reduces the amount of duration expended creating ,editing presentations.

Cons: Google Slides obviously does not offer too many eye-catchy presentation templates ,however considering this is free and cloud/web based .I will just say the good part of Slide far ourweighs the bad sides.

Overall: Google slide has ensured faster work time on team presentations ,while also ensuring team presentations can go on without every concerned team member needing to be in the office physically.

Pros: The ability to pull up my presentations from anywhere is a great convenience and I especially appreciate that I am able to even view them on mobile without issues. Features such as image search and being able to easily embed YouTube features is very helpful. Further, the collaboration feature is very helpful and something that I use with my colleagues and my students.

Cons: There are still some advanced features that are missing from the tool, such as advanced animations and the ability to easily manipulate charts and tables. It can also be frustrating to need to have two apps installed on mobile devices (Drive and Slides) in order to make changes.

Overall: Ability to easily collaborate with colleagues and students, access slides from anywhere, even offline.

Pros: The best things about its ability for multiple people to edit the presentation. This makes group project so easy. All you have to do is share the documents with the people you want to work with. This made college projects so easy and it has helped in the professional world as well.

Cons: My only complaint is that there are not as many customization options as Microsoft powerpoint.

Pros: The accessibility of Google Slides is something that makes it more preferred and reliable. Most of us will want to complete their tasks while at home, and for Google Slides, one can do this. The product is so light, and it hardly faces errors while being run. It is cheap, compared to other presentation tools.

Cons: Nonetheless, the vendor should still implement significant improvements for this product to reach the standards. For instance, Google Slides is far behind the PowerPoint, as it lacks some basic features that are found in the PowerPoint Pack. Furthermore, Google Slides lacks a friendly user design, and this makes it less competitive.

Overall: Eventually, we use Google Slides in our firm to prepare, edit, and share presentations, something that improves our productivity. The process of implementing Google Slides is so small, and thus, favoring its usability. It is an easy and light tool, and therefore, it doesn't demand huge space in your device.

Pros: Google Slides is a simple, precise, and mobile presentation tool. I like the fact that I can access Google Slides any time, anywhere, and also, for free. The product is stable, and the vendor offers constant releases to make it more effective.

Cons: Google Slides takes too long to load on smart phones. It means, the vendor should make the product more compatible and light for easy use and loading.

Overall: Google Slides has been an amazing presentation tool for preparing new presentation slides, editing the existing one, and also for sharing. Very affordable, and easy to use.

Pros: Primarily,I like Google slides because it is cloud based, thereby making it accessible across all smart devices ; be it smartphones or laptops. The ability to collaborate is a nice feature to have on a presentation program and also of great importance is the fact that Google slides is free to use.

Cons: On every occasion when I have opened a Powerpoint presentation on Google slides, I have lost the formatting of such documents and always have to re-modify the document on Google slides.

Overall: Google slides let me collaborate with my colleagues on team presentations. Collaboration via Google slides has improved how fast we are able to create and edit team presentations ,while also improving the quality of presentations we create ,since multiple heads working together are obviously better than one.

Pros: What I like most about this software is that it so easy to use and a great platform for presentation

Cons: What I like least about this software is much of updates which sometimes affect your work especially when you are using mobile phone to work

Overall: My experience with it is great. It helps in preparing slides for my lectures and it is easy to make any adjustment anytime on the slides, whether before, during or after lectures.

Pros: It's like you are never going to miss a single presentation you've done. Google Slides is an online presentation editor and a store for me as I have all my presentations uploaded there. Also, it's a cost-effective way to prepare your next presentation. It'll not be the same as some higher priced products, but it will do the job when you most needed it.

Cons: Google Slides could be a misery without a stable internet connection. Auto save feature is available but with a single point of power failure you could lose your hard work. This is about a minute (or less) of work I hope, but the importance depend on how valuable your time is.

Overall: I'm happy with my choice. Upload some old presentations and update them with the latest information while access it from anywhere is not available in all services.

Pros: It's really easy to make a presentation on one computer and then give it on another computer or device. I've used Google Slides to present at conferences and lectures and love it. It's really easy to share slides with other users as well. In addition, it's a nice replacement for Illustrator if you need to make quick diagrams, especially because it's easy to group & align parts of a figure.

Cons: It sometimes doesn't play nicely when importing .pptx files. I've also had a problem a few times where I am giving a presentation without being connected to the internet (Slides works in Chrome without a connection) but then a video won't work, and I can't figure out that it's because I'm not connected to the internet.

Pros: Google Slides is able to be used on nearly every platform and browser. It enables users to create presentations without paying for expensive software and to work collaboratively from any location. Slides works in tandem with cloud technology to also store and share documents with ease. I like the power afforded by Slides.

Cons: The only drawback to Google Slides can be seen in its differences when compared to competitors. The functionality is the same, but the way in which tasks are carried out is different. Because of this learning curve, it takes me longer to create a presentation with transitions and effects than it would in other software, and sometimes the formatting will change if converted to or from other file formats.

Overall: I've used this software for over a year and have been pleased with the ability to collaborate with other presenters who are unable to physically meet during planning and creation.

Pros: Google Slides is incredibly easy to get the hang of - it's easy to use the templates to create slideshows for different presentations that look professional and prepared. Our entire organization runs off of Google Products and a Google Drive, so it's really nice to have these applications that allow us to create different products within the context of our organization as it currently functions.

Cons: It's sometimes a little difficult to find other template options - of course, you can download these off of the internet, but it would be nice if they were available within the application.

Overall: It's been a great experience - very easy to work with and manage. Our only issue has been with the element of customization (which can be worked around)

Pros: When I first started using Google Slides it seemed some kind of futuristic way of creating presentations. Before Google Slides I was using Powerpoint but Google Slides added some amusement and made Google Slides different from traditional presentation softwares. Now you can edit or create presentations with your friends in real time. It is my most liked feature. All joined users can work at the same time, add or edit slides, chat and comment. It saves my time and increases creativity. Now whenever there is a new project I use Google Slides. Another great feature is that I can convert Google Slides to PowerPoint presentation or vice versa.

Cons: Transferring traditional presentation experience into the web is challenging but there are some features which needs to be added. For example converting slides into videos. Maybe it is possible with some add-ons but couldn't find them.

Overall: Although there are some insufficiencies I like Google Slides and will continue using it. Because Google always improves customer satisfaction with new updates.

Pros: How easy it is to both share and present your slides. The themes are nice and easy to use, I can share a draft of a slide to a co-worker and chat within the slide. The software accommodates all users, from professionals, students, etc.

Cons: The annoyance of the text box. The text box function is almost always glitchy and if you have multiple on one slide it makes it difficult to edit.

Overall: My experience has benefited me as a professional and as a student. I am able to create visually pleasing presentations and edit within a group/department at the same time.
