### "Great for quick team decks"

June 20, 2026

5.0

For everyday team decks it does the job fine and the collaboration side is great. I still jump to PowerPoint when I need something polished, but for quick stuff this is what we reach for.

Pros

It's free and lives right in the browser, so I can throw together a deck and share it with the team in minutes. Real-time co-editing is the big win for us, and everything just saves to Drive on its own. Easy to pick up if you've ever used PowerPoint.

Cons

It's pretty bare-bones next to PowerPoint. The template selection is thin and the animation and transition options are limited if you want anything fancy. It can also get laggy on really big decks, and you lose some formatting when exporting to PPTX.

### "Simple and Effective Tool for Collaborative Presentations"

June 13, 2026

5.0

Google Slides provides a smooth and reliable experience for creating presentations. Its ease of use makes it simple to design slides quickly, even for beginners, and its strong collaboration tools allow multiple users to work together in real time without confusion. It also performs well online with easy access from any device, making it convenient for both school and work projects.

Pros

What I liked most about Google Slides is its strong ease of use, making it simple to create and edit presentations from any device. It also offers great customization, templates, collaboration tools, allowing multiple people to work on the same presentation in real time, which makes group projects much easier. Makes things easy for professional use.

Cons

I have never had any issues with Google Slides. Minor bugs and easy to fix. Very reliable software!!

### "Decent for a last minute solution."

May 31, 2026

3.0

My overall experience with Google Slides is fair if I consider this solution a last resort one, since design tools are limited.

Pros

What I like most about slides is that it is a useful to-go solution since it's available within Google Drive

Cons

What I least like about Google Slides is the available templates and graphical objects, and well as the limited amount of fonts and effects.

### "Easy to use and inexpensive."

April 10, 2026

5.0

I enjoy using Google Slides when partnering with other Team Members on projects so we can edit in real time to complete a project.

Pros

Very easy to learn. Works similarly to PowerPoint, so not much of a learning curve. The Google Suite offers an array of programs for low cost.

Cons

I can't think of any drawbacks to using the program. I have never had an issue that required extra support.

### "Google slide review "

December 11, 2025

4.0

Overall it is great and I definitely prefer it over power point. It’s smoother and i definitely took to it more “naturally” than I did power point.

Pros

Ease of use, PowerPoint is more “clunky” it does not flow as well as Google slides. Maybe is a visual or aesthetic.

Cons

I think it should open up more premade slides. I’m in Emergency management and that field has yet to be covered. I think it would be beneficial for the future.

### "Good collaboration with some limitations"

June 11, 2026

4.0

For internal decks or anything where you need quick collaboration, Google Slides gets the job done. For a polished client-facing presentation, I usually end up exporting to PowerPoint or rebuilding it elsewhere.

Pros

Real-time collaboration is the best part. Being able to work on a deck with someone else simultaneously, leave comments, and track changes makes back-and-forth with clients and teammates smoother and there's no need to track versions.

Cons

Design flexibility is limited compared to PowerPoint or Canva. Annoying that when you export to PPT or import from PPT, the formatting ALWAYS gets messed up. Not much precise control over layouts or more sophisticated animations. The template library is also pretty basic.

### "Straight Forward, Easy-to-use!"

April 14, 2026

4.0

It’s an easy-to-use, reliable tool that makes creating presentations straightforward, even for beginners. The real-time collaboration feature stands out the most, since it allows multiple people to work on the same presentation at once without confusion.

Pros

Easy collaboration: Multiple people can edit in real time, which makes group projects much smoother. Cloud-based access: You can open and edit presentations from any device without needing to install anything.

Cons

Formatting inconsistencies: Slides may look slightly different when opened in other programs like PowerPoint. Dependency on Google account: You need to be signed in to access and edit files easily.

### "Google Slides is Worth A Try"

March 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, it's a good program, I use it regularly and although it's not PowerPoint, it's pretty close and get the job done.

Pros

Pretty easy to use and has many capabilities similar to PowerPoint. It's able to import PowerPoint documents and make them workable in Google slides.

Cons

It's similar to PowerPoint but could have some better features that I hope will get added in the future.

### "The easiest way to make and share presentations"

September 15, 2025

5.0

Google Slides is a perfect complement to the other Google Workspace features. It is very easy to throw together a presentation that works seamlessly with Google Meet. I can save it for offline access and download PDF copies too.

Pros

I can easily create presentations that are accessible from anywhere. They are easy to share and collaborate in real time.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. Google Slides gets the job done. I have no idea whether it has fancy bells and whistles because I don't ever need or want that. It does what I need.

Google Slides is just easier to access, share, and collaborate. I do still use Powerpoint at times, but my go-to for meeting presenations is always Google Slides.

### "I’ll choose Google ecosystem over any other "

June 7, 2026

5.0

Pros

As a trainee I utilize Google Sheets quite often and it’s sooo easy to use. The prefilled templates are amazing and I love that you can integrate other templates to customize them even more.

Cons

The only thing I do not like (which I don’t even prefer) is the Gemini assist. I’ve played with it multiple times to see if it can help customize and it was a complete fail… also may be user error!

### "Cloud based presentation software with real-time collaboration"

March 29, 2026

5.0

I love it. It's light and easy to use, very short learning curve which makes it very duplicatable across the team.

Pros

Free to use for anyone with a Google account and it's cloud based and accessible from any device with a browser - no installation needed. Super easy to use with a large library of templates if you're not yet comfortable creating your own presentations from scratch.

Cons

It's cloud based with a convenient but it does mean that it needs an internet connection to work as intended. Also when compared to the Microsoft option there are less advanced animations and transitions.

### "Google Slides is great for Education"

December 1, 2025

Overall, I believe Google Slides is a great product for enterprises. It makes sharing and collaboration easy. Younger users can easily make their own slides and share them. The integration with Google Classroom, of course, is a plus for educational uses.

Pros

Google Slides is very user-friendly. It is easy for younger students to use in the classroom. It offers numerous customization options, and sharing is effortless.

Cons

Limited selection of different fonts. Limited access to fun and captivating templates for different use scenarios.

Pros

Cons

It has slightly less features than microsoft powerpoint paid version, but for a free product i am not complaining.

### "Effortless Slideshow Collaboration With Google Slides"

June 1, 2025

5.0

Overall, the ability to collaborate on presentations live with my team from around the world is incredible. On a weekly basis we are given requests to create presentations in very short timeframes. Without Google Slides, we would be unable to work at the pace and the quality that we do.

Pros

Google Slides is an essential product for work from home teams to collaborate on business presentations in real time. The ability to integrate other Google products into your presentations, such as charts generated from Google Sheets, makes this product unmatched for me and my team.

Cons

Sometimes when a comment highlights text, and then the text is erased during editing, it can erase the comment - which often contains valuable feedback or information. This is frustrating and has led my team to begin organizing feedback outside of slides often instead of the integrated comment feature.

### "Simple, Collaborative, and Cloud-Friendly Presentation Tool"

November 20, 2025

5.0

Overall, Google Slides is a solid, user-friendly tool, especially for teamwork and remote collaboration. It may not satisfy users looking for highly advanced slide design features, but it’s perfect for most presentation needs.

Pros

I really liked the collaboration features in Google Slides. Being able to work in real-time with others, leave comments, and see changes instantly is a huge plus. The cloud-based system also makes it easy to access presentations from any device without worrying about file transfers. Templates are simple and clean, which helps in creating professional-looking slides quickly.

Cons

I found that Google Slides is somewhat limited in design and animation options compared to software like PowerPoint. Offline editing is possible but not as seamless, and some advanced formatting can be tricky.

June 17, 2025

5.0

Pros

I love that Google Slides is easy to navigate and edit. I also like that it provides you with pre-populated themes that you can easily import. I love the presentation features that you can customize to make your slides right for you.

Cons

I don't have much to say, other than you need internet access to fully edit your slides and it doesn't have as many customizable options as some other advances presentation software.

### "Google Slides Has its Perks!"

March 24, 2025

4.0

I think Google Slides is great for various purposes, although I feel there is room for improvement with premade templates and presentation editing features.

Pros

I like how Google Slides can be used for a variety of purposes. I prefer it for my personal, academic and work needs. It has great formatting features and it is super helpful to make my own educational materials using the platform.

Cons

I think Google Slide's premade templates are outdated and there is limited ways to make presentations stand out on the site. I usually use Google Slides when I need to format educational materials for work use but no longer to make presentations.

### "Google Slides is our silent sales machine."

June 13, 2025

4.0

It allows our team to work on the same deck from four time zones. We can knock out a new client pitch overnight brand-aligned, clean, and data-driven.

Pros

It is cloud-based, speedy and ready for collaboration. We use Slides for all of our investor decks, client demos, and internal reporting. Real-time co-editing and templates allow our design-light team to still produce strong visuals.

Cons

Animations and layout tools are nowhere near as good as PowerPoint, we create custom slides on Powerpoint due to limitations in the Adobe software, while trying to make an impact on screen.

### "Google Slides: A Collaborative Presentation Powerhouse"

November 30, 2024

4.0

For me its simplicity, accessibility, and collaboration features make it an excellent choice for most presentation needs of mine.

Pros

The simplicity of the interface makes it beginner-friendly, and the wide range of templates speeds up the creation process is what I like the most about Google Slides.

Cons

Least enjoyable aspect about Google Slides for me is it can lag when working with presentations that have heavy media, like videos or high-resolution images.
