### "Easy to use and inexpensive."

April 10, 2026

5.0

I enjoy using Google Slides when partnering with other Team Members on projects so we can edit in real time to complete a project.

Pros

Very easy to learn. Works similarly to PowerPoint, so not much of a learning curve. The Google Suite offers an array of programs for low cost.

Cons

I can't think of any drawbacks to using the program. I have never had an issue that required extra support.

### "Straight Forward, Easy-to-use!"

April 14, 2026

4.0

It’s an easy-to-use, reliable tool that makes creating presentations straightforward, even for beginners. The real-time collaboration feature stands out the most, since it allows multiple people to work on the same presentation at once without confusion.

Pros

Easy collaboration: Multiple people can edit in real time, which makes group projects much smoother. Cloud-based access: You can open and edit presentations from any device without needing to install anything.

Cons

Formatting inconsistencies: Slides may look slightly different when opened in other programs like PowerPoint. Dependency on Google account: You need to be signed in to access and edit files easily.

### "Great free alternative to Microsoft PowerPoint"

September 25, 2025

3.0

Overall I have had a good experience with slides. It's a little tricky if you use both slides and PowerPoint because of their slight differences but once you pass the learning curve it's not too bad. It is nice that this is free - where as PowerPoint is a paid product. I also like that you can customize the share feature to control who can edit vs who can view.

Pros

This product is free to use and has many similar features to PowerPoint which is nice for those switching from Microsoft products. Great templates that help to elevate the presentations and many customizable features. Easy to download as pdf and can be used for team collaboration is using an online version.

Cons

Not quite as seamless as power point when it comes to formatting. The way that the tool bar constantly collapses is frustrating because you have to keep popping it back open in order to make edits. I would say Google Slides isn't as highly respected as PowerPoint in the corporate world but you can get around that by downloading as a pdf.

### "Easy to use and can access anywhere!"

January 3, 2026

4.0

I use it on a weekly basis. I create a ton of slide presentations and like that I don’t have to save the slides to a thumb drive. I just need to login and open the presentation. Also, like that, I can pull a sly presentation up on my phone for review and preparation.

Pros

The platform is very easy to use, and our city has adopted Google as its official platform. I also like that I can access it and make changes in a variety of ways, while also providing edit access to other users.

Cons

The program does have some limitations feature wise in comparison to Microsoft PowerPoint. Specifically, PowerPoint has adopted artificial intelligence features.

Overall, it's a good program, I use it regularly and although it's not PowerPoint, it's pretty close and get the job done.

Pros

Pretty easy to use and has many capabilities similar to PowerPoint. It's able to import PowerPoint documents and make them workable in Google slides.

Cons

It's similar to PowerPoint but could have some better features that I hope will get added in the future.

While this has been a great prop to help me prepare for presentations I have most enjoyed watching students as young as 4th grade learn to use it and make presentations thy are proud to share!

Pros

Google Slides has been an asset to our school as we introduce students to technology and various applications. It is easy to use, intuitive and provides a professional end product students are able to customize for their projects. Professionally it makes for easy collaboration on my team reducing turnaround time and improving productivity.

Cons

I haven’t found any aspect of Google Slides that I don’t like! Love that it’s easy to learn and I can quickly prepare a presentation to a variety of audiences.

### "Cloud based presentation software with real-time collaboration"

March 29, 2026

5.0

I love it. It's light and easy to use, very short learning curve which makes it very duplicatable across the team.

Pros

Free to use for anyone with a Google account and it's cloud based and accessible from any device with a browser - no installation needed. Super easy to use with a large library of templates if you're not yet comfortable creating your own presentations from scratch.

Cons

It's cloud based with a convenient but it does mean that it needs an internet connection to work as intended. Also when compared to the Microsoft option there are less advanced animations and transitions.

### "Love slides for a lot of reasons. "

April 1, 2026

Overall, a great experience. I would continue using google slides if my current job was not an MS Office company. I also like the easy integration of Google with apple products. These two seem to go hand in hand.

Pros

I love google slides. All throughout college and into my work life I used Slides. to Customization options are great and its easy to use. I had the option of this or MS powerpoint and I chose Slides.

Cons

There were not any cons I had when using it. Although I probably did not use every feature, I was not able to find anything I did not like with what I did use.

Google slides has been a good experience. I used it a lot during university for collaborative projects and also in my business to create social media posts.

Pros

Free, easy to use, has a wide variety of templates that are easy to edit and customize. It's great for collaboration with others as well.

### "Slides and Design, 10/10!"

September 24, 2025

5.0

Overall, I couldn’t be a high quality teacher without this tool in my toolkit. With the endless possibilities for customization and sharing abilities, it needs many needs in one app.

Pros

The fact that you can use Google Slides as a free service if you sign up for a Gmail is an absolute life hack. Not only do I use Slides for designing and presenting curriculum, I also use it as a home decor planning tool. There are so many capabilities within this presentation tool that make it valuable beyond its intended use.

Cons

I wish there was a remove background tool within Google slides, that would be a game changer. I would also love to see word art as an in app option.

### "Presentation Hero"

July 15, 2025

5.0

Pros

Among many presentations in my college career, I recently had an important and intensive group project that needed to be a slideshow for a philosophy course. My groupmates and I used Slides in conjunction with Docs and Workspace for a seamless collaboration experience. We received especially high marks for the professional and engaging formatting that Slides allowed. The most important feature was definitely the ability to use real-time editing from all collaborators along with our real-time meeting on Workspace.

Cons

We had 5 of us at times on the same slide deck, and only when it came to multiple of us uploading attachments did it lag a little bit.

### "Simple, Collaborative, and Cloud-Friendly Presentation Tool"

November 20, 2025

5.0

Overall, Google Slides is a solid, user-friendly tool, especially for teamwork and remote collaboration. It may not satisfy users looking for highly advanced slide design features, but it’s perfect for most presentation needs.

Pros

I really liked the collaboration features in Google Slides. Being able to work in real-time with others, leave comments, and see changes instantly is a huge plus. The cloud-based system also makes it easy to access presentations from any device without worrying about file transfers. Templates are simple and clean, which helps in creating professional-looking slides quickly.

Cons

I found that Google Slides is somewhat limited in design and animation options compared to software like PowerPoint. Offline editing is possible but not as seamless, and some advanced formatting can be tricky.

All the most important features you need while making a slide deck are available. It's easy to format slides, text size, font, photos, shapes, graphics, videos, GIFs, animations, etc. Making a professional slide deck is easy with Google Slides.

Pros

Pretty convenient and easy to use. A big plus being Android friendly. In terms of the cost, it is free to use.

Pros

The ability to work on PowerPoint or slides anytime anywhere on the go,in particular, right on the smartphone instead of a regular desktop application

Cons

Printing accuracy. When finished designing a electronic envelope, then saved it as PDF, and then feed it to the printer, the ratio seems to be off by a little bit.
