### "Google Slides for presentation and digital displays"

February 1, 2019

4.0

Pros

If you have been put to death by PowerPoint before maybe the next time you should recommend they use Google Slides. Google Slides are a seamless transition from PPT. Slides can be shared and the team can collaborate on the presentation. Slides can also be worked on by any internet connected device. We also use Slide for our digital sign in multiple buidlings spanning different counties.

Cons

Slides could still use an update. I think they could offer a Prezi type presentation option. Make your slides and then press the magic button and BOOM the boring death by PPT presentation is something more than a talking head reading the slide to you.

### "Google Slides covers my presentation needs."

September 10, 2018

5.0

Google slides enable me create presentations at a moments notice.Because it is browser based,I am always able to access past presentations or create new ones ,provided I have got a mobile smart device ,tablet,pc or MacBook within reach. Also ,it has saved me money in terms of monthly subscriptions I use to pay on my Microsoft office ,which I stopped paying since 2014 when I began using Google apps.

Pros

Google Slides is free and makes it easy to create and access presentations from all of my devices. It also supports collaboration, which makes it easy for multiple people at a workplace or workgroup to work together on presentations ; resulting in presentations being done faster, and with better quality too.Since multiple people working together will likely arrive at a better quality, than a singular individual working on presentations all by themselves.

Cons

Google Slides is free to use and therefore I probably do not anticipate to get the same quality I will get from paid alternatives.More importantly too,I do very basic presentations and Google slides covers that need very well.

### "Great Tool with Amazing Collaborative Features"

July 29, 2019

5.0

Overall, Google Slides delivers a great tool for crafting and sharing presentations. The collaboration features are top notch and since it comes along with a free Google account, you don't need a subscription like Microsoft Office.

Pros

I love that Google Slides allows me to work on a presentation with my fellow employees where we can divide and conquer, add comments and craft a presentation in real time together. It has all the features I love from Microsoft Powerpoint, but it's free with Google Drive!

Cons

Honestly, after using Google Slides for eight or nine years, I don't have any complaints. It's my presentation app of choice!

Switched from

[Microsoft PowerPoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/141633/PowerPoint/)

Google Slides came along free with my Gmail account. It had more collaboration features to start with and better templates, so I haven't switched back since in personal life or in my work life.

### "Daily work essentials!"

October 17, 2019

5.0

Been using this ever since I discovered it and never looked back at powerpoint. Saves you money when you have an office of employees that all want Microsoft office.

Pros

There are only pros for this product. It is free and basically does everything that you can do with Powerpoint but it is FREE. I use Google Slides literally every day and I never looked back on using Powerpoint. It is so much easier to just send links and everything is on your drive instead of files that you will lose.

Cons

There is literally nothing that I hate about this software. I absolutely love using Google Slides for its ease of use.

### "The Most Helpful and Utilized Presentation Software "

December 26, 2019

5.0

I use it hand in hand with Powerpoint to make beautiful and professional presentations in order to represent my company's information. It gives eye-catching and easily understandable presentations that ease information passing within the organization.

Pros

Google Slides gives several presentation themes that make it possible to create almost any type of presentation. The themes help to ease work by providing a format for the user to feel the intended information. In addition, it provides several fonts and animations absolutely for zero cash. Another good thing is that it is the ubiquitous meaning you can access them anytime in any context provided there is an internet connection. Also, it enables collaboration - users can work on the same slide at the same time.

Cons

It has limited storage and if the provided storage is exhausted, you have to buy another storage capacity. requires net. as always.

Reason for choosing Google Slides

Google Slides gives impactful and beautiful presentations that are easy for the staff to comprehend. not forgetting that it offers all these features for free.

### "An increasingly useful alternative to Powerpoint"

February 28, 2020

5.0

Slides is incredibly handy for most presentation tasks. Because I have to be ready to deliver a presentation across many types of location, having a presentation in the cloud accessible by browser gives me tools to easily present and share in any circumstance. The downside of this is that some options, styling in particular, can be limited, compared to competing products like Powerpoint.

Pros

Compatible with any screen that has a browser attached. Design guides are intuitive and helpful. Multi platform support is easy—I can adjust a slide from my phone as I walk to the meeting. Explore feature helps inspire aesthetically-pleasing presentations.

Cons

Inability to embed audio. Can’t adjust font for text on multiple slides. Styling options limited in comparison to other tools.

### "Preferred way to make Presentations, especially if collaborating"

June 27, 2019

5.0

My company used Gsuite and to save money we use the Google tools. While Doc is pretty good compared to Word, I really prefer Slides to PowerPoint. We have multiple people working on a presentation on slides, the templates are easy to keep track of, the storage size is unlimited, can present these anywhere not needing the other person to have paid for PowerPoint. The UI is easy to use. Just great easy tool.

Pros

Google Slides is the only way to make a presentation that you are making with others. It is super easy to collaborate on this compared to other tools. Plus Google Slides is Free! And easy to share with anyone.

Cons

Doesn’t have all the features as PowerPoint but unless you are a PowerPoint power user, you won’t miss them often.

Excellent! Love it! Couldn’t teach without it!

Pros

Google Slides is much more than just a presentation tool. This product has features that add interaction options for my students through chat and an easy way for me to create hyper docs.

Cons

I’d love to have a more seamless way to insert music especially through you tube. At this point it’s laborious to keep track of song stop times when transitioning to a new slide

### "Gets the job done"

April 9, 2020

4.0

Like usual, Google remarks itself through ease of use and integrated use, not through special astonishing features. I still use slides for most presentations, just cause it's easy.

Pros

How easy it is to animate and display elements of a slide one at a time. Recently discovered you have the ability to get participants to type their questions in presenter mode, which is cool (but haven't used it yet).

Cons

The ability to make the presentation awesome isn't there. You better be a good storyteller and have really clean slides. It's nothing special, the themes aren't particularly catchy. No ability to run quizzes or something more engaging with participants. Sharing is also easy.

### "Effortless Presentation Creation with Google Slides"

May 15, 2023

4.0

My experience with Google Slides has been highly positive. The platform's collaboration and sharing capabilities have made it an essential tool for team projects and presentations. The ability to access and edit presentations from anywhere with an internet connection is incredibly convenient, and the platform's seamless integration with other Google applications makes it easy to use.

Pros

One of the best features of Google Slides is its user-friendly interface and intuitive design. It offers a range of tools and customization options that make it easy to create engaging and visually appealing presentations. The ability to collaborate with others in real-time, access presentations from anywhere, and share them with others is incredibly convenient. Additionally, the platform integrates seamlessly with other Google applications, such as Google Drive, making it easy to access and organize files

Cons

While Google Slides is a powerful presentation tool, there are a few limitations to consider. One drawback is the lack of advanced animation and transition effects, which may be essential for some presentations. Additionally, the platform's offline capabilities are limited, which may be an issue for those who need to work on presentations without internet access.

### "Google Slides are no slouch"

November 26, 2018

5.0

Fantastic

Pros

Obviously everyone is familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint. It's what we all used when we were young and it's what we were all taught on and still is widely used amongst all big companies. But, that's not a reason not to know and learn about Google slides. First off, this is a free product. So there's that. Also, this is made by Google, a company that always performs in terms of software so they obviously know what they are doing. Google slides can do everything that PowerPoint can do. It's also on the web... So just imagine, you can log in to any computer or laptop or phone and have your presentation ready. No longer do you need to save your PowerPoint to a thumb drive and carry the thing and worry about it having to work on whoever's laptop that you are using. Google slides let's you simply log in to your Google account and Bam! Your slides are right there for you to use. It's got all the features of PowerPoint as well so don't think you're losing anything. In fact, I really like the Google slides user interface just like any other Google product, they really think about the user and the end user. It's got really nice themes and settings and is really convenient to use. And since it's Google, it's really easy to share with someone immediately or if you're working with someone on the slide you can work simultaneously just like a Google doc. I really think Google slides is being slept on by a lot of people because it's really that much better and more efficient than PowerPoint.

Cons

It does still require you to sign in with a Google account to create a slide but the benefits outweigh this necessity for sure.

### "Online Power point"

May 21, 2023

To work with slides in a group, it is very easy to do it using google slides, because instead of someone joining everything that the others do in power Point, google slides offers the possibility of doing it all at once in real time.

Pros

Google slides is a very easy way to do group work in power Point, since it is online and you can share the use and editing with different people.

Cons

I really have no complaints about google slides, it is online and works as if it were power Point and is very complete in every way.

### "Solid Program to Create Presentations"

May 28, 2023

Overall, Google Slides is an easy-to-use, free program that I use within my company to create presentations. Google Slides allows me to efficiently create presentations to share information with staff and clients. The ease of sharing these slideshows also adds to my satisfaction with this product. It solves many business needs.

Pros

The features of Google Slides I like the most are the animations, collaboration tools, and easy sharing.

Cons

Google Slides can improve the customizable templates feature by adding new ones. The available options are good, but I have used them many times and it would be beneficial to have other choices.

### "Amazing Collaboration and sharing tool"

April 8, 2019

The wide variety of different slide templates made it extremely easy to make powerpoints quickly.

Pros

It is extremely easy to use and to create various styles of slides. The synchronization of other Google tools make collaboration and project management extremely easy as well. There are also many tools that are provided in Google Slides allowing for different options. The app is also extremely well done and offers editing on the go possible.

Cons

There can be more features available however it provides enough functions for an everyday person. The reliance maintaing on an online connection is one thing that may potentially be a hinderance however your powerpoint can be easily downloadable .

### "Can't ever see myself going back to other software"

February 6, 2019

4.0

Google Slides is an incredible solution. We use it primarily for the company I work for which has over 400 employees. It's quick and easy to use and will fit the bill for most presentation needs.

Pros

Google Slides is an excellent tool in our mobile world. I can make edits to a document on my computer and not have to worry about saving, uploading, etc. since it's already on my Google Drive. Open it up on my laptop and then at the same time have it open on my phone making edits there too. It is great to work on documents together and collaborate with others. I love that you are able to easily toggle back to a previous version and restore it if needed. You can also easily see who made which change which makes it great for reviewing your team's work.

Cons

Google Slides doesn't have near the amount of features that leading competitors offer. Most of them I don't need but there are some that I miss. For example, you can't have a unique time for each individual slide. All slides have to be the same length when presented.

### "Great Replacement of PowerPoint."

May 26, 2019

5.0

It allows me to create my presentations which are part of my day to day work. Being a software developer in a IT company, I need to present my ideas to client. This platform help me to make my presentations simple and with least resources.

Pros

It has got great user-friendly interface. Loading speed is much high than any other software that provides facility to create slides and presentations. Best part is multiple users can work simultaneously on same presentation(if permission granted). This feature help the team to collaborate and work on same presentation with 2X speed and efficiency. It enable user to to download the presentation and run them on any slide viewer such as power point. It even allow to edit presentation offline. Best part is, it's files are auto saved on google cloud and can be accessed from anywhere. Free of cost is great factor.

Cons

One drawback is it has limited animation options which limits it capabilities below other offline software such as power point. Presentation formats are damages when downloaded and run on various slide viewers such as power-point. Sometimes attaching large image or video files to presentation takes time and becomes messy.

### "Bring your presentation slides to the cloud!"

July 26, 2019

Google Slides works great for an organization where file sharing and being mobile are important. Enable your workforce to work on the go without the hassle of traditional presentation making software.

Pros

This has allowed our organization to support mobility within our workforce. We don't need to be carrying our laptops anymore to access presentation decks we are working on. We can do our presentation using a tablet with access to the internet. It's a convenient way to work on your decks without losing the professional touch!

Cons

More templates please? It's hard to be creating slides from scratch, so if this would have more templates we can use it would really save time.

Pros

Creating superb standardised templates for company presentations and proposals that can be duplicated and customised as they need. Integrating google sheets for live charts etc are excellent. Lots of free templates available as well.

### "Google slides is very helpful "

June 15, 2021

5.0

I have been using Google Slides for 2 years and it has helped me a lot in the realization of my projects. Google Slide is a great tool for remote collaboration. It is easy to use and allows information to be shared quickly. I find it nice to manage a project in real time with other colleagues.

Pros

Google Slides is free and easy to use. Google slides allows us to share and collaborate with other people in a convenient way and also we can easily track the changes of our collaborators on a project. This was very helpful when I had to do group projects and work remotely with other people

Cons

For me What I don't like about Google slides is that you can't work without having a network and it is difficult to export and change the size of the files but when you are used to it, it becomes easy.
