This is a great way to capture patient data and scan it into a usable database with out manually entering all their answers. Our studies can have a lot of forms, and having the ability to scan everything into a database with TeleForms has made everything much more efficient. Pros Fairly easy to use for scanning and verifying forms. Picks up most single characters and numbers accurately, as well as multiple choice answers. If only one or two forms didn't get picked up correctly by the software, it is easy to work around or manually select forms. It is also very easy to select what types of things you want picked up by TeleForm Verifier, so you only have to view the fields you need to. Cons When scanning, TeleForms does not pick blocks of texts very well, which will can slow us down. It also can have a problem picking up symbols. The biggest problem we run into is that the form has to have the brackets almost perfectly aligned in order for the software to recognize the form, as well as no extra lines that would affect the detection of the brackets, or we have to manually select the form. This can be a problem, since a lot of the forms are emailed to us and they aren't always perfect.
