Treated me and my business with disdain partnered with less than reputable 3rd party payment providers that provide no oversight for when something goes wrong honestly avoid there are better platforms

Pros

Most software platforms offer the same functionality Kitomba is easy to use and reliable but that’s it. It’s multi site is good to use but tired and needs a facelift

Cons

Lack of development they are 5 years behind and always playing catch up. Lack of investment in bringing new ideas and tech to that is standard on other platforms Kitomba pay was a disaster equipment didn’t work (in any location) caused massive issues and they didn’t do anything about it

AAA++ I am very happy with the oval service I received from and the products, it was easy for me to transition as the new Salon owner

Pros

Customer support is amazing. They were fast and efficient in helping with a salon take over and stayed late to make sure things were transferred after 8pm. Above and beyond customer service

Cons

It would be easier if there was an app for our phone, this would be more efficient than using the web browser

My personal experience has been really good. I have not used a software booking system like this before and found it really easy to pick up. Thanks Kitomba

Pros

As a receptionist I find the Kitomba support staff outstanding. The team are always helpful and patient especially while I was new to Kitomba. None of my questions were too silly and the explanations were always helpful. Changing, moving, cancelling appointments is all really straighforward.

Cons

The restriction on changing the reminder template. Would like to personalise it a bit more than currently seem to be able to do.

Support & customer service is always available when needed. Ive never had any major issues & the software continues to evolve over time especially the last couple of years.

Pros

I have trialled other software but nothing is as comprehensive as Kitomba. Having it on your desktop makes it run really fast as well as having the cloud based options. The depth of reports available make managing a business easier whether your in Spa or working remotely.

Cons

Obvisouly price point is a little more than other softwares but you really do get what you pay for, so a customer of 16+ years Im still here!!!

Overall my experience with kitomba was alright. Had some features that I liked and some that could be improved on.

Pros

Kitomba had easy appointment management and booking features. The software was secure and simple to learn.

Cons

There were occasional bug issues with connecting to the website. Customer support can be hard to get ahold of.

Great, best product that I have used in my hairdressing career.

Pros

Easy to use, clear functional layouts, able to be colour coded for services, easy and clear to keep clients records up to date, and good options of reports available

Cons

Occasionally would set back to a default setting and took some to restore our settings. This is very minor con.

Kitomba was the first salon software I used. It was fantastic. Very easy to use, lots of features to help with workflow and meeting KPIs.

Pros

Ease of use, lots of features, great storage of client history, txt and rebooking easy.

Cons

The price. When I went out independently it was too expensive to continue to use for my small schedule.

It manages the calendar well. Reminders are good.

So many reports missing. It is not very flexible and there is conflicting information between kitomba 1 and the main system

Wonderful

Pros

Reporting is most important in my job. Any reports that our salons require are easily accessible and understandable with this operating system. Also, the systems support we are provided by our account manager Rica is fantastic. She is super delightful and happy to help and answer any questions I have, happy to provide additional training whenever required, she is just wonderful.

Cons

negative stock holdings do not show on reports. difficult to clean up.
