### "Visually appealing billing tool"

I integrated stripe with Wocommerce and the process was super easy. The checkouts looked amazing and we didn’t have any bug or problem. I usually work with API integrations and this was super cool for me. Saved me a lot of time and the visual experience is better than other billing tools

Pros

What I liked the most of stripe was how easy was to integrate it on any website made with Wordpress even if it’s you first time using it. You can choose between different options of invoices (subscriptions, one time payment). Their navigation panel is visually appealing and modern which gives trust. And the best part is that is free to install.

Cons

I find the commissions quite high despite it has less commissions like PayPal for example. Nothing else.

Above average. Stripe has great security, easy integration with multiple platforms, and very prompt customer service. I am very satisfied overall with stripe as a small business owner and non profit executive director.

Pros

Stripe is very easy to integrate across multiple platforms (Squarespace, donation pages, etc.) and allows you to see accounts separately - this was incredibly helpful as a non profit.

Cons

The processing fees were a little on the high side and payouts were often held for inconsistent periods of time.

As I stated, I have been a Stripe user for my marketing agency for several years, and now for my ministry for donations and recurring remittances.

Pros

As a long-term Stripe Account holder, the majority of our activity is recurring remittance. However, it's super easy to use invoicing via Stripe billing because of its value for money, and ease of use - there's no learning curve. It's as simple as clicking a few buttons after keying in some basic information. I have not needed to contact customer support in all the years of our usage of the platform.

Cons

It's so simple to use. No figuring out what step is first, what next, no amount of screens to flip to.

Great experience overall, even though it's sometimes a pain to revisit flows or make adjustments to some settings; the platform has saved us lots of time and mistakes.

Pros

Once set up, it makes life easier. Lots of customisation in-app or through their API. It's easy to find customers, invoices and set up recurring billing and schedules. Great way to keep an overview of billing.

Cons

Customisation sometimes doesn't go far enough to fit billing flows completely. When missing a feature or when a bug occurs, the system can prove to be quite rigid. Mistakes often can't be mended and have to be redone.

I would prefer an alternative because I believe persons all over the world should have the equal opportunities to earn an income whoever they choose to.

Pros

That is it used by most American businesses. Like 98% businesses in the US have stripe attached or set up in a manner for use.

Cons

I don't appreciate that it not global and that it makes things difficult for digital marketers and because most people use stripe it's quite difficult especially for those who want to do affiliate marketing to do it with companies who primarily use stripe its like a blockage to international persons

Really good, everything is clear and once you understand how to use it, the functionality is amazing and the features are really helpful.

Pros

Stripe has been our go to billing and recurring revenue partner and software for years. We have found that the customer support is top notch and client management is 2nd to none.

Cons

There is quite a bit of learning that the team needs to do in order to optimise usage of the platform and we often find that it's on the higher end of processing fees and so the value of money could improve.

There are many ways to search for a payment not just card number or name etc so if client doesnt provided alot of details . We can find the payment

Sometime you forget you selected a filter But this is a learnt through trial and errlr whilst using it

It seems to be secure. Syncs to all of the platforms and tools I use for my business.

Cons

It takes so long to process transactions. 1-3 business days to validate the transaction and 1-3 days to transfer it my bank account even longer for larger transactions. It doesn't allow for a lot of flexibility when it comes to things like scheduling invoices to go out later (at least not through the app I have it synced with).

My overall experience has been great. I love that there’s 24/7 support and live support available.

Pros

The ease of setup and getting started. Not a lot of complicated steps and the fact there is no monthly or hidden fees. It’s pay as you go so you can afford to use it while you build and start to maintain your customer base growth.

Cons

Sometimes a card won’t go through that’s valid but that could be a bank thing with customer cards so I’m not totally sure with that one.

I appreciate access to my account, and can almost always find what I need on my own. There are clear categories, and information is not hidden. And, if I need to ask a question or speak about a specific issue, the customer service reps have always been so helpful and most of all available to talk to.

Pros

Stripe Billing has a comprehensive and easy to navigate dashboard where you can access all of your transactions, clients, history and more in one place. They also have a great customer service where you can actually talk to someone about your account (yes, a real person!)

Cons

Like all of the financial payment services, there is a fee. Who likes fees? But the cost is transparent, and it can easily be accounted for in your bookkeeping and price structure.

Mostly good experiences. The lack of tax reporting aside from a list of payments is annoying.

Pros

Very reliable, appreciate the notifications for incoming payments, relatively low fee.

Cons

Obviously the fee (unavoidable, though). Slightly clunky web interface. Wish they offered a downloadable 1099 tax statement for earnings.

I like that I am able to integrate it into my Xero accounting software to take payment immediately online. I also like that I can pass the Stripe fees onto my customer (as well as offer them fee-free ways to pay via bank transfer etc.)

Cons

It tends to take a couple days for the payment to clear and appear in my bank account, which can sometimes be a minor inconvenience.

It is great for ease of setup but the experience of having a coupon to discount a rate for our returning members and applied every month and not the one tie it was intended for has created additional invoices on my part.

Pros

I enjoy being able to bill our members on a reoccurring monthly basis. Not having to go into my books each month and send invoices is beyond helpful.

Cons

Setting up a discount for returning members was easy but it is being applied every month so I will have to go in and resend a corrected invoice for payment.

The integration with Quickbooks saved time and made things easier for me. It allowed me to use my time on other projects once integrated.

Cons

Sometimes the reports wouldn't pull correctly whenever transferring to Quickbooks and I would have to manually go in and search out what happened and fix the issue.
