### "How FreshOps helped us grow"

Overall the experience is excellent with a fantastic ROI. The problem of accountability is solved in that clients can see who has been on site, what times they were there and what tasks have been completed, over and above better than the old paper notes approach

Pros

The software is easy to use for the guys in the workplace and returns great information back at base. From a safety point of view, when staff are working remotely, we can make sure that we know where they are in the shift and quickly contact them if a problem arises. from a client point of view, with their accessability, they also have great information and peace of mind

Cons

The main desktop view is a little cluttered and can be hard to navigate around if you need to make changes. The dashboard on the phone is very tricky to use unless you have small fingers with some clickable links merging. But this is a very minor issue as the staff never use this function anyway just the supervisor

### "Where would we be without it?"

We just have less questions each day about what our team are up to. The scheduling used to be excel and sms, now it's just easy. Timesheet collection was an absolute pain before, but it's just not a task that we even think about now. I think we probably win more proposals now, as the clients really like the idea and features of freshOps too.

Pros

freshOps puts us much more in control our team than we ever thought was possible. We don't need to stress about staff being onsite, we can see instantly. The Task Verification has saved our back sides so often if we've had to provide proof of a cleaning task being completed or even a security system being armed. The Xero Payroll Integration I know has also saved us a tone of time each week dealing with timesheet collection and processing wages.

Cons

We are looking forward to the new mobile apps coming in a couple of months as they are pretty basic still (functional, but we would like some extra features in them).

Reason for choosing freshOps

There seemed to be plenty of solution for Trades & Services, but cleaning is different. Cleaners don't have trade qualifications, so they need to be managed and supervised differently. Plus the scheduling was perfect for commercial cleaning.

### "Full of serious bugs and issues"

Moving to FreshOps has been a serious waste of time for our business. The bugs are too numerous to list. This should be a simple app for scheduling, recording time worked, and running payroll. None of these functions work. I've raised several serious bugs over 6 months on the platform and my support requests are either ignored, given a generic response of "working on it" (but they never get fixed), or I'm told the bug isn't a bug at all. An example of this is time reports showing the wrong times that staff have worked. Scheduling bugs: Staff often can't see future shifts. They will disappear and reappear from the calendar. This leads to regular messages from staff asking if their shifts have been cancelled. Time tracking bugs: Staff can have shifts disappear after they clock-in, leading to the shift not being recorded. The NFC tag also throws an error sometimes, meaning staff can't clock in. Staff can easily spoof their time - as the app has no GPS spoofing detection, and staff can even change the time of their device to whenever they'd like to appear to have clocked in. Payroll bugs: Staff working over midnight are never tracked correctly. This is every night of the week for our business. Hours are either DOUBLED or TRIPLED in payroll, or the shift will disappear from payroll entirely. I raised this bug 6 months ago and it's never been fixed, causing a massive admin headache every time we run payroll. There are also several smaller bugs that cause hours not to be tracked properly. Other bugs: There have been instances where I'm sure we can see other customers' data. This is a serious privacy concern. Staff have sent me screenshots of shifts that don't belong to our business, with very real sounding names and locations. FreshOps assumed me this was test data, but these aren't names like "John Smith" Or "Mike Test". These were real-sounding names that aren't the kind you'd make up on the spot, and the locations were known office buildings in our city. All of these bugs and issues mean I'm constantly making manual fixes to timesheets and payroll, and playing tech support to our staff. In 6 months I've made maybe a couple dozen reports of these bugs to FreshOps support. They never seem to get fixed, and often my reports are ignored or dismissed. It's the company owner exclusively responding to support tickets, and when I've pointed out that staff can easily spoof their working location and hours, his response was that I should just hire better staff! There was significant hand holding during our onboarding, which meant everything went smoothly for the first couple weeks we were making our buying decision. Unfortunately once we put the credit card details in everything went off the rails. Moving to freshops has been a colossal waste of time.

Pros

The app's structure (Clients > Sites > Shifts) works well, but the numerous bugs kill any benefit of this product.

Cons

App is riddled with bugs across core functions. Scheduling, time tracking, and payroll are all unreliable. Support is dismissive. Bug reports can be ignored entirely, or we're simply told "we're working on it". Critical bugs remain unresolved after several months. We've experienced a potential privacy breach. It looked like we were viewing another customers' shifts (including site location and access details!). Onboarding was attentive, but once payment was made our experience and support has been abysmal.

Pros

This product is awesome in keeping up to date with client details and changes also keeping in touch and up to date with your staff

Cons

What I like least about Freshops is my staff not knowing who they are partnered up with daily

We could offer clients piece of mind there premises will be attended too as well as giving us another source of information for time and attendance and payroll.

Cons

Just the email notifications don't appear to link to the portal and can't personalize dashboard...

Very happy with the product

Pros

It makes all aspects of scheduling/work flow a lot easier. I have completely eliminated the need for staff to fill out any paperwork, making all of our jobs easier.

Cons

As we pay our employees from the start of their shift until the end, I would like to see a function within the app that gives the ability for the staff to basically clock on when they leave the work shop, clock off for their lunch break, clock back on and clock off when they finish giving a definitive amount of hours worked. Basically like a bunny clock.

We do have plans to allow employees to commence their run of visits, so that we can easily capture start to finish regardless of what sites they went to. We had this in mind for working Supervisors, who go not only complete visits but have other duties, but can see how it would work for you too.

Everything about the software is a PRO for us! We started on a hunt for software so we could run our Commercial Cleaning Company remotely during this pandemic. WOW! is all I can say, this software was a life saver! Thanks to the team at Freshops we are smooth living.

Everything about the software is a PRO for us! The mobile app for the team in the field, attachment capabilities for the scope of work or any MSDS forms for Cleaning products stored within your portal. very user friendly
