I have found the platform incredibly frustrating to use. Nothing is intuitive. The support is terrible. I paid for a year in advance before really checking it out and now they are trying to charge me more than the price of my entire site, just to have 1 other editor. Pros It's promise of great looking sites, with good usability. Some things on the editor are obvious and consistent. Cons It's extremely technical and difficult to use. Price gauging. Unclear terms. Even WordPress is better and easier to use. Cons Constant breaks in design. I used Framer for my portfolio and it is constantly breaking my design. Nothing makes sense in it. I tried WordPress and it took me 8 days to make a beautiful website. It took me a year to make my portfolio, which I constantly need to fix. Even though we deleted it from our project, the image is still online and accessible. This puts us at legal risk. We have contacted Framer’s support and Trust & Safety teams multiple times, but the image hasn’t been removed yet and no one feels responsible. Cannot recommend for companies who reach a certain stage and get a lot of website traffic. Probably has everything you need, but if it doesn’t there is plenty of plugins / themes out there. So easy to use for designers or developers. Pros The best website / page builder I’ve genuinely ever used. It’s very similar to Figma, but you get a working website and the end. My flow has now changed, I just go straight to Framer. Cons Collaborators are expensive. Could do with more CMS options on some pricing plans.
