Pros

I like that Jane is easy to navigate and user friendly. It’s super easy to book an appointment, especially for two different family members. You can easily find upcoming appointments and contact information for the business.

Cons

So far, there aren’t many things that I don’t like about Jane. I have had a great experience and haven’t come across any issues.

Very good on boarding experience with Britt Not complicated to use Overall I like how simple it is to access reports

Pros

Ease of use simplicity with all the trimmings Reports are accessible Not very expensive so it makes life as an owner that much better.

Cons

Too early to say but I would like to see a way as owners, where the admin is screened from checking out the total earnings, total clinic income, payouts, etc as this should be private, for the owner's eyes only.

### "Good UI, steeper learning curve. "

Jane was good once we got it going. Transition from our previous EHR was a little difficult at first.

Pros

The way they handled data was great. Also the UI was generally pleasing and easy to use. You could see what was going on visually very easily.

Cons

The way consultations were handled was less than ideal for our practice. It actually took our admin team a lot more work to handle bookings.

### "Finally, a Platform Built for the Practicing Therapist"

My experience with Jane has been largely positive with some areas of friction. The scheduling and booking features work exceptionally well, and my clients have responded well to the interface. However, the charting side still leaves room for improvement from a clinical standpoint. On balance, it remains my preferred practice management tool because the strengths outweigh the limitations.

Pros

From a therapist's perspective, anything that reduces administrative friction before a first session allows me to focus entirely on the therapeutic relationship from the very start.

Cons

My biggest frustration was the limited flexibility in customizing chart templates. Psychotherapy documentation has very specific needs like charting progress notes, treatment plans, risk assessments, and I found myself working around the system rather than having it fully adapt to my clinical requirements.

Yes, I switched to Jane from a combination of Google Calendar and paper-based intake forms. As my practice grew, that informal system became increasingly unsustainable. Great. The chat for customer service was quick and friendly. \[sensitive content hidden\] helped me understand the issue and escalate it to the correct team, who then responded in a timely manner. I haven't started using Jane but I'm certainly far from disappointed with my first interaction with the software team. I can also tell from the listed functions that it is a good cost value trade.

Pros

Quick customer service support, issue escalated to correct team and was contacted all within the same day. Offerings seem good for the cost

Cons

No complaints. The issue was just a software block that occurred when abandoning my sign up months ago then trying today to get my desired URL using the same information.

The ability to organize and bill directly and text/ email customers directly from their profiles. It makes follow ups easy.

setting the clinic up was a long process. some tasks were tedious but overall was beneficial to switch programs

Very user friendly and has all the features one would want. I appreciate that they have direct billing functionality and online booking. Easy to create forms and manage schedule.

The price structure is really frustrating for a sole practitioner. They seem to be targeting big practices.

My overall experience has been very good, but I will admit that I have never used another system so I do not have a basis for comparison with your competition. When I socialize with colleagues I do recommend it to them.

Pros

There are so many features that help me streamline my practice admin. I like how patients can book online at my website with your affiliate Clinic Sites. Jane Payments streamlines checkout, as their credit/debit card is on file. Chart note templates shorten my documentation when repetitive findings and procedures exist from visit to visit.

Cons

I cannot see at a glance the patient leger, makes it hard to figure out their balance. Co-Insurance balances are nearly impossible to determine.

### "Jane is a great team player "

Jane is the best option for managing a clinic with 10+ therapists working at the same time. I can alter individual schedules, I let Jane fill cancellation spots using the waitlist, and patients find the system easy to use. It makes managing a busy clinic easier.

Pros

The best feature is the “shared templates”. It’s a timesaver. You can search by occupation and find hundreds of templates to choose from. You can also edit any pre existing template which saves so much time.

Cons

If I’m using my iPad or phone to book an appointment that’s taken from the waitlist, I often tap on the wrong time slot and incorrectly book an appointment by 15 min. I wish Jane would give you a quick preview of what I am going to book so I could double check I’ve got the correct time selected but it doesn’t.

Loved the program, it was a great transition from a server based program we had prior, but due to our specific office protocol needs we had to switch to Chirotouc, again only for billing purposes.

Pros

Easy use, great scheduling and charging system. Truly adaptable system with constant updates that make the program smooth and easy to jump into.

Cons

Difficult to bill out of for insurance. Multi-step process was cumbersome and not intuitive, third party billers were unresponsive.

Very user friendly; can start using same day as onboarding and navigate fairly easily.

Very user friendly and easy to navigate without feeling overwhelmed.

Cons

Some of the settings are cumbersome. Sometimes there seem to be redundant pages when navigating through the billing and invoice options. However, having more information is not a bad thing, but if you don't know what the pages are illustrating it's confusing. Fees are higher than other platforms

Wonderful! Happy to use this application as it works to support after hours bookings, and create reception efficiency within a business model.

Pros

Simple for clients to log into, easily access information, and create a client profile. Seamless for business integration.

Cons

Clients can accidentally create multiple profiles, which then would lead to the need for consolidation.

It is easy to use for employees and for the clients, easy to book, see the calender, cancelling appointments and filling forma

Cons

UI for the mobile device can be approved and navigation among the app for finding forms and services needs to be straightforward

### "Jane is User Friendly and Great for Scheduling"

In my former role as an admin assistant for a salon, I used the Jane app to book appointments, track arrivals, schedule practitioners and other administrative tasks.

Pros

I enjoyed the user-friendly platform and ability to schedule both client and practitioner calendars in one easy platform.

Cons

I didn't have any strong cons about Jane. Because we used the platform to schedule salon appointments, we didn't often make use of the "charts" feature, but I can see how that would be beneficial for other industries.

Jane app is awesome as reported by all my colleague who used different apps for scribe and taking notes

Pros

Great value for money, friendly snd responsive support, clear updates provided during escalations and great user interface along with notes keeping.

Cons

Resolution took longer than expercted, repetition of troubleshooting steps frustated the users at times. However thr appointments management is spot on if it can club 2 or more

Generally good as long as I use Chrome, and know about the pages not refreshing bug and how to work around it.

Pros

That it generally works well and looks good, as long as you don't mind being forced to use Chrome when you don't want to, and work around the other minor-ish bug of having to refresh the page, or quit and reload the browser to have the Documents and/or the appointments pages updated.

Cons

Being forced to use Chrome. How many professional apps out there actually force one to use a specific browser? Also, as above, at times having to either refresh the page or even quit and then restart the browser to have the Documents and Appointments pages updated. I was suggested to put these in "Feature requests" - but it belongs in bug fixes "requests" as it has caused me grief.

### "The Perfect Software"

My thought is that it better last as long as I am in practice, for the next fifty years, because I am NOT switching!

Pros

I love how seamless everything is, and how simple everything is as well. The charts are customizable and the interface is beautiful.

Cons

My only complaint is that you can't customize the colours of the interface. Seems like a silly thing to be missing, but other than that, Jane is amazing.
