It’s easy to use and the support is phenomenal. Cons There is no con to working with FanAngel. Reasons for choosing FanAngel FanAngel only keeps 7% of total money raised while other companies keep as much as 20%. I really appreciate the friendly service, which is always a huge bonus! Thanks, Fan Angel! Pros This was very easy to use… Walked you through every step of the way! Customer service was fantastic! Super quick responses to any questions, and they really helped you through the process with no problem. No pressure from the rep, just guidance, and how to make it more successful. It was user-friendly in editing things, uploading pictures and videos, tracking every email/text that went out, and every donation came in! The fees were minimal compared to other very similar fundraising options! Cons Overall, there wasn’t really anything I didn’t like. The only thing I think might be able to be improved is that when an athlete sent out the fundraiser in a TEXT form, (rather then as an email) It came to that person from a random number in what looks kind of like a junk mail text …so there is a good chance that people weren’t looking at them, unless the athlete reached out to those people personally to let them know a fundraiser text would be coming. So if somehow that could be improved so when it came through, it was like a picture of the team and something that looks more like a link to a website versus just a generic “hi, this is so-and-so, check out my fundraiser” because people are leery of clicking on random links, ya know? I'm very happy I chose to use them! Pros I liked how easy it was on me. I basically got all the info together and FanAngel took care of 90% of the work. It was very helpful for me. I did the same fundraiser I've done the past 2 years, and I did like 10% of the work I've done in the past, and we raised 2x the amount of money as we did in the past. Amazing! Cons The email updates were pretty annoying. I asked to be able to turn email notifications off and was given a few workarounds, but not a real solution. Customer Service was much, much better than our previous foray into online fundraising. She was quick to answer questions and never pushy. We appreciated her advice, which helped us raise more money than we expected. We were impressed with our entire experience with FanAngel. I would recommend FanAngel to any sports team or club that needs to raise money. It was so much easier than almost any other fundraising venture I have participated in. FanAngel's fee of 7% allowed us to keep much more of the funds that we raised, compared to the 20% fee of a competitor platform that we used last year. I highly recommend FanAngel. Pros The fundraiser campaign was extremely easy to set up and launch. The customer rep was very helpful and made the experience seamless. Simple and extremely helpful video tutorials to help get started. The reps customized the campaign webpage without us lifting a finger. It was very easy to follow the progress and know exactly which players did their part and how much they raised. The funds were directed into the school account without a hitch.
