Implementation is fast paced and scanning desires some improvement but great product! Pros Great product and easy to use! Easy to teach others to use. Learning curve was less than a week for our organization. Cons Implementation was awkward. Support was limited other than thru tickets. Scan hardware limitations are surrealistic. You need specific scanners that are almost outdated equipment. They definitely have room for improvement in this area! The check runs and reports can be custom made/labelled and each user login can make their own reports as favorites which is handy. Pros I like that this software has all the functionalities required for reporting, accounts payable, receivable, and reporting and that they are logically grouped in each of the menu options. The reports are very easy to use and I love the existing templates. I like that the system makes invoices paperless by scanning all receipts/paperwork into the PDF file image storing system. Cons I have to change out the paper in the printer every time I want to print checks manually. I wish there was an automatic way to do this or multiple trays. I have used several different softwares and this is compatible with almost all PMS systems and can automatically generate a daily revenue report from the PMS automatically with most franchised properties. Pros What I like most about this software is the ease of use. It is very easy to use, as well as train employees to use. Customer support is excellent and always available. It is very outdated compared to the other systems out there, but it does the job. As long as you have a process down, there should be no problems! Pros \-The ability to maintain a lot of financial information and translate this into readable and detailed reports in either Excel or PDF format is excellent! -The ease of uploading budgets with a single spreadsheet. -The training videos were helpful for me as a first time user of the system. Cons \-The GUI is outdated. -Occasional system crashes. -Running reports is easy - but it takes a lot of clicks/questions to get the report. Once you click "Finish" and you realize you selected the wrong property or period, you would have to re-do the steps. Also, it takes a long time to pull the report, approximately 15-20 minutes per property. -Uploading budgets are easy - however, when there is an error, the message it displays is not very helpful. You would have to try and determine what caused the upload to error out. We are constantly upgrading the accounting product and while the "look" may not change that often, the features and functionality have been enhanced and upgraded hundreds of times - all at no charge to our customers. We are proud that we have never charged an upgrade fee, that we work without formal agreements and that these values have helped us grow to almost 5,700 individual properties that use M3 on a daily basis. These customers include some of the largest companies and most complicated portfolios in the industry. I am not sure what this reviewer deems a "big group"; however, M3 serves hundreds of customers with more than 10 properties in their portfolio with many of those in the 100 property range.
