The customer support is very helpful and very quick to respond if we may ever have any questions or issues. Pros You can see what subcontractors have viewed the drawings, what subcontractors have downloaded the drawings and what pages they have downloaded. PlanHub provides a platform for subcontractors to message GC's directly if they have any questions. Subcontractors can upload their bid directly to PlanHub. Cons Instead of having to open up a company's profile to see their contact information, their phone number/email should be listed when sorting through what subcontractors have viewed/downloaded the plans. We have been connected to many great subcontractors that I do not think we would have found without Planhub. Pros The directory has been very helpful in finding quality subcontractors for out of town projects. Being able to sort by trade has been a big help. Cons My biggest struggle with planhub so far is when importing my subcontractors that are not already on the site I am unable to see if they have viewed/downloaded project drawings. When you're in the project, navigate to the "Activity And Status Tracking" tab, look for "Show Unregistered Emails" and toggle the setting on. You'll be able to see any subs unregistered with PlanHub in the list below it, and the Company Name will read "Unregistered." We do have a product update in the pipeline for Q3 where you'll be able to automatically have them in PlanHub - in your own directory - the moment you upload them. Stay tuned for that! I would be aware of the struggles of the items that I described, but I have been exposed to many new clients. Pros I am visible to many contractors and receive many invitations to bid. I have been exposed to many new Contractors that I probably not have known about about my company. Cons When I mark a project "Not Interested" and continue to get update emails!!! In addition, they are interested in hearing about ways to improve and try to implement some of the changes quickly. Pros PlanHub has a large network of ACTIVE subcontractors. This has helped us grow our own network of subs nationwide. Cons PlanHub is growing and there are naturally some growing pains. The document handling is not great, but I happen to know that new changes are coming in this area and it is going to be so much more user friendly! March 28, 2026 5.0 I stumbled on this app and I couldn't be more thankful that I did set your range check your email for any job bid you might have missed utilize the dashboard with everything from payment accounts to plans and designs there is actually great value in any of the upgrades so it's definitely worth any money you do spend on it which doesn't have to be much! Pros What is not to like with GitHub they help with estimate creation and send you jobs to bid on. Email reminders it's a huge time saver if you utilize everything in the app that's there for you and star your notifications from them cuz you're going to want to read those overall it's a great app I stumbled on it and couldn't be more happy with it! I realize it cost a fare amount of money to create the program but it would be nice to have less expensive options to join the network minus the bells and whistles. You have to do the leg work by putting in, gathering the information and searching the files for your specific trade. Cons The platform does take a while to load sometimes and the note tab opens up instead of just being able to add a note on the page without opening over project. Has been a great product that we added to our business. The simplicty of how Planhub seems with how many features the platform provides feels unmatched. We started with a trial, submitted a bid, and ended up winning our first project within a few weeks. Since then, we’ve secured multiple additional jobs through the platform and even built relationships with contractors who later offered us work outside of PlanHub. It has genuinely helped our business grow and has become a key part of our estimating and bidding process. Pros What I liked most about PlanHub is how easily it connects subcontractors with real opportunities. The platform has a very intuitive interface, making it simple to review plans, submit bids, and track project updates. It has helped us reach contractors we would have never met otherwise and has opened the door to long-term business relationships. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the number of bids and awarded projects we’ve gained through the platform. Cons The only downside is that some projects can receive a high number of bidders, which increases competition. I like the location of the project on the email so I can decide immediately if I am bidding or not because we only work in Charleston, SC. Pros It's the best of all that I have to work with. It has all GCs bidding and contacts. I like how the prints are displayed and zoom. Cons When I am done looking at a particular section, The arrow is not available to go back so I have to hit X and it goes out completely back to the email invitation and I have to start all over again. Would prefer to have name of GC for project on invite, not to have to go searching for their details Pros exposure, to multi GC full plan details name and number for easy contact daily emails with new leads Cons its all good, I have no problems with plan hub.
