Overall I am pleased with PlanHub. It has given me more GC's to bid on several jobs and that means I am reach a bigger client base.

Pros

I like everything about PlanHub. The search process is easy which means that I get more quotes to the GC's and this means I can bid more jobs.

Cons

The only thing that I do not like is the fact that you do not show the GC's address on site. In my quote process we add the GC's address to the quote and this means that I have to go looking for the address on the web or through previous quotes.

Reason for choosing PlanHub

Dodge was not tailored to what we needed.

Nothing new, just new customers, and more leads.

Pros

We get notification of many new private jobs. We can download plans. and we are developing relationships with many new customers. Cheep cost to use for the year

Cons

No follow up on who wins jobs. the software is not real usable. Very simple. not easy to find help if needed. No one has check on us sense I purchased the product, I do not know if any new software is offered

We are bidding three times as many jobs as we were before using PlanHub. It is so simple to navigate and download the correct documents.

Pros

\-Easy to use -Easy to download documents -Not as expensive as other bid software -Visually appealing

Cons

\-Sometimes the documents are out of order or not labeled a way that is easy to read -Not all GCs are listed

Pros

Easy to find projects, and quickly assess if we want to quote

Cons

Difficult for the organization to see who is working on which bid. If there was a Bid Organization feature like Building Connected it would be more valuable resource.

### "Why I love PlanHub!"

Planhub has been a very helpful tool in obtaining the bids that I need to put together our estimate as a General Contractor.

Pros

The ease of getting bid invites out to all the trades needed.

Cons

I would like to be able to download the list of subcontractors that have received my bid invite in an excel spreadsheet. Other than that I cannot think of anything else that I don't like.

Good results with sub/vendor response with quotations; but lacing in communication with same.

Pros

Advertisement to construction subcontractor, vendor members in the several states we work in for bid management.

Cons

Communication. We receive clarification request from prospective sub/vendors, a) with inability to locate specific documents we post in the data base; b) directing a sub/vendor by name, telephone number, without showing their email address sent to my work email. It is a major time inconvenience to call the sub/vendor, and inability to reply via email; c) Small number of work activities shown in several categories.

We are receiving a tremendous amount of GC opportunities that we never had before.

Pros

It allows me to receive RFPs that I would never have known about.

Cons

I would like more sections of industry to better tailor the RFP requests to my companies needs. I receive a lot of requests that don't fit our industry.

This site lets us look at multiple listings that we don't always get emails from.

Cons

This site is not very user friendly. Also, EliteProNet would notify us when a project was awarded. PlanHub does not.

Excellent, love this software for successful estimating and project bid submission!

Pros

The organization of the platform features and quick access to plans and specs makes using the software easy and enjoyable. Most of our GC's are utilizing PlanHub for their projects and invitations to bid are guiding us to us PlanHub.

Cons

There are no items we don't like our feel have been left out that we wish were included. All the standard features are mission critical for us to complete estimates and submit our bids on a timely basis.

Really like using Plan Hub & all the help I get from the rep. We get several bids for our projects using Plan Hub, its been a win win for our Company. Just need to work out the areas(meaning how many miles they will travel to work on a project) covered for the sub-contractors.

Pros

Easy to use & follow. Quick fix if any problems.

Cons

Finding sub-contractors in the correct area.

the rep was very explanatory on all the benefits the company had to offer, and he still takes care of our technical problems, which is a great benefit for our company.

### "The use of the Account"

I am able to see a lot of potential Projects in my City.

Pros

It definitely gives you projects that are close in proximity. The details of the project are super descriptive. The updates on new projects are done daily.

Cons

The projects are put on the website really close to the closing bid date. It is not really effective if I have 3-5 days to bid on a project that is fit for me.

### "PlanHub as an End User"

It's overall positive in that it has helped us build relationships with clients and keeps us abreast of upcoming projects, but it is rather slow to use and we often get bombarded with emails even after we have declined to bid on projects.

Pros

The software itself is easy to navigate and to understand. It compiles a great number of opportunities into one place. It is a great way to find potential clients and get in front of them.

Cons

The software/website itself runs slowly most of the time, especially when selecting a project or after having deleted one from the list. The Google Map feed rarely loads. It takes me more time to curate through the types of jobs that we don't do than I usually spend downloading plans. I wish there were a "ignore refit/upbuild/renovation" sort of option. I'm also not a fan of continuing to get email updates about projects after I've indicated that we will not bid them.

### "Great but with some draw backs"

We are happy with the frequency in the ITBs and the quality of the projects.

Pros

Access to a wide network of GCs and access to opportunities to bid projects.

Cons

We don't always get the ITBs in enough time to provide a quality bid. So i am having to pass up lots of opportunities because of the small window of time. Its frustrating because lots of the ITBs are easy bids that we feel we could win if there was more time given.
