Overall we are able to save time when searching for and bidding projects.

Pros

I like the user friendly platform and the ability to bid to multiple general contractors with just a couple clicks of a mouse. For me and my business this is extremely valuable. Other sites costing close to double does not offer such a feature and you wind up spending hours trying to hunt down contact information for GC's.

Cons

The platform seems to be slow to load and I am unsure whether or not all bidding GC's are listed. If not, I am missing opportunities to win a bid. Also, it seems that the site misses projects. I have yet to come across and municipal opportunities advertised on other bid sites.

It helps reach smaller subcontractors that do not want to update their information on newer polished bid software. It works as a supplemental bid resource but is not capable as a primary bid software.

Pros

The software is free and for that it has value in helping to increase bid particpation. Also alot of small subcontractors use it so it has a good outreach.

Cons

The software does not list contact information for the subcontractors it uses. It is choppy in execution and the layout or breakout of packages for bidding is complicated and convoluted. This is a secondary software that is used in conjunction with more refined tools.

Pros

When in my territory the projects are helpful

Cons

I have set up my territory for my market within my company. I have called customer service. I have re-checked I have selected my interested territories. I still receive notifications for all markets my company covers but this means I have way too much wasted time filtering unimportant notifications to find the ones that matter.

It is ok. I do not need the frequent phones calls to see if we are bidding a project or if I can send more information. If I had the information, I would submit it.

Pros

Uploading the project information for invitations to bid.

Cons

Not user friendly for seeing subcontractors

Pros

It gives me a wide span for projects comming up. A wide range of General Contractors and their contact info.

Cons

Have not landed a job off plan hub yet. Online issues when I try to use between 3 am-6am CST No feedback on how your bid was viewed and rated by General Contractors

I like it. I use it every day

Pros

I get more bids for my jobs. It is also easy to use. I find a lot of new subcontractors in different states. I like that they are trying to expand to more states. When i call plan hub everyone is very helpful.

Cons

There is nothing that i least like about plan Hub. My overall experience has been good.

The ease of using the system, and the easy layout to view the plans and pertinent information.

Cons

The software does not provide all contractors bidding and ones that are listed have dropped our or are not bidding the project at all. There is not a large amount of jobs that you can find on the software

My overall experience has been amazing. The rep has been the person helping me. She goes above and beyond to help make sure we get coverage. The rep is truly the final reason we have decided to make PlanHub our number one product.

Pros

I really love how quick and easy it is to post a new project. Sub responses have tripled since we have been using PlanHub.

Cons

I am still learning, so i am not sure if it is possible or not. Some projects we receive we have to sign NDA's and i feel like there should be an option to make it a private post and only send it to specific people rather than public and the masses.

Simple to use, and pretty good results from the subcontractors.

Pros

I like the fact that I can communicate directly with subcontractors/vendors, upload drawings with ease and the set up for a project is not hard either.

Cons

Setting up Addendum, if there were separate folders that could be set up, so the subcontractors/vendors could easily determine what is what that would help. So not being able to set up, folders in this feature is needed, very badly.

### "Powerfull tool to get local companies"

We are a small construction and remodeling company. We have our projects in many cities and taking the whole team to all cities is very expensive. The use of this tool allows us to hire local companies reducing operating expenses that become better prices for customers

Pros

We have daily contacts from companies interested in working with us. It has been very useful to receive quotes on each of the items of our projects

Cons

Some companies that are competitors, can see in detail the projects and can even contact the owners to offer their services

Reason for choosing PlanHub

This tool was recommended by a friend who uses it frequently and knowing its benefits, convinced us to use it to get local companies

I really enjoyed the free trial with this software and the ease of navigating the menus. I wish they would either extend the longer free trial or lower the monthly/yearly price.

Pros

Like most other bid/take off software this is a solid software to use to gain files and take off certain projects. What I really like most is each time a general contractor sends out a bid invite through PlanHub, it provides all the general contractors that are bidding the project. This saves us time and hassell in the communication process.

Cons

This has been the only software for bidding purposes that requires a fee. We use several construction software and this is the only one that has a hefty per month price.

I would like to see all Gc's on the job with the program I currently have without having to upgrade.( I do a lot of them but if you upgrade you can see all.

### "Will not do business with them again"

We have been customers for a while now and due to a heavy work load decided to cancel our account for a few months. I sent an email to cancel the service and then the exact same day they billed us for another 3 months. I told them I was not using the system and had not even logged in and would like the $350 payment refunded. The said they would not refund it but "I had use of the system until August 1st!" I will never do business with them again. Totally shady practices.

Pros

Basic but simple, and the price was bargain but platform is lackluster

Cons

Platform is unorganized and clunky to use

This has been a good software, i receive many more alerts and invitations than other softwares.

Pros

Planhub alerts me with invitations everyday. I can easily decline or accept from email or through the app. Easy to see who is bidding. Bid submission is a breeze.

Cons

Sometimes it seems i have way too many projects to bid.

It is very easy to use, navigate and maintain.

Cons

I wish I received more feedback from subcontractors. I would like to copy certain projects and trades without going through the entire process of posting a new job with the same or similar trades.

Pros

I am able to pre select areas that have the most jobs and get an email with a list of potential jobs.

Cons

Sometimes Div.27 isn't always included in the project but I will still get emails showing it does. So I sometimes have to weed out the job one by one.

This has been great as it has allowed me to bid on more jobs. I've looked into other programs but they we're prohibitively expensive and not user friendly.

Pros

This is an easy to use program. The UI is incredibly user friendly and straightforward. The ease of access to all of the plans is helpful. Communication with the contractors is seamless.

Cons

This isnt a con on the software but better organizing the plans would be tremendously helpful.
