As well as 1 on 1 meetings to show and discuss products that may benefit our company specifically. Pros The ability to customize your plan to include our company's specific area of work. As well as easy filtering of job types that we specialize in. And recently we have taken more advantage of the direct contact planhub provides with other companies, whether discussing our intent to bid or submitting it when the time comes. Cons We seem to see a huge lack of larger scale commercial projects that may be subject to invite only. So more visibility and access to projects they may fall outside our normal scopes to possible improve our search with companies we may not have relations with. It is a modern interface, easy to geofence where I want jobs, and I have used the take-off capabilities extensively and really like them. Pros It is the most accurate of all the apps in determining if there are requirements that fit my trade. The take-off software is outstanding as well. It's easy and intuitive to use/navigate, and support is readily available if I have a question. Cons All of the various add-on modules get confusing, which makes the pricing somewhat opaque. What we found was most of them post their plans to 10 different websites and have no desire to want to actually do any business with the people that are reaching out. After the first few months and going 0/10 on bids with half of them not returning calls or receiving feedback, we began reducing resources spent here. The $1,999 subscription auto renewed even though I had told my rep I had no interest in renewing 4-6 months prior. The emails were buried in spam and fine print, and they refuse to issue refunds. Very disappointed with my experience overall. Pros There were an abundance of opportunities, however must of them are shelled out to hundreds of contractors. Cons The renewal process is awful, they bury their rules in fine print, their emails auto populate to spam and they refuse to issue any refunds. The amount of projects we have been awarded is a total value for our money. Pros We love the fact that lots of General Contractors and projects are loaded directly into a system specifically searching for our trade which saves us time searching for projects. The plans & drawings are easy to download and perform take-off's from. Our estimating team loves this program. Cons When we decide to not bid a project and click the icon, the project is supposed to archive. I believe there is a glitch in the system leaving the project in the queue and confuses our estimating team when one individual has decided not to bid a project, but the other individual does not know that it has already been reviewed and waste time. We have explored other bidding sites and Plan Hub is by far the best to use with the most opportunities to land Projects, Pros Easy to locate projects. The format and ease of sending bids to multiple contractors without needing to individually email is great. Cons Need bigger projects and access to engineers without paying extra. Maybe a rating system to rate companies by past work performances would be good. I enjoy the user interface of the website and how it gives lots of information about each project we are bidding. Planhub gives us great opportunities to grow our business. Pros I like how there are lots of different types of projects that need our services. Many opportunities for us to do work for all different types of jobs. We have enjoyed fabricating our aluminum products for hotels, restaurants, multi-family's, and much more. Cons One-way Planhub could improve is by its communication with GC's.
