Great experience so far, easy to find jobs to bid. Quick to search, download and submit bids right through Plan Hub.

Pros

It's easy to use, you can narrow down the search area or expand it to better suit your specific needs. Full of opportunities for all trades. I can search projects, download files to see prints and read through any imperative information beforehand.

Cons

I haven't come across any problem with Plan Hub. It has provided me easy access to multiple projects that I can assess quickly.

I enjoy planhub and will continue to use it. The email notifications are helpful so I don't have to monitor it daily for new activity.

Pros

Plan Hub keeps me current on projects and gives me and opportunity to bid on new and upcoming projects.

Cons

The portal is often slow to load. Sometimes the link will spin for awhile before loading which is a little time consuming.

Solid platform! Easy to post projects and gather subs. Tech support is always helpful. This is my first estimating job, so this is my first experience with these websites. Planhub and Building Connected are what I use.

Pros

Ease of posting projects, and using the directory to contact subs. During their operating hours, tech support is on point. Quick to answer questions. Follow through is A+

Cons

the way viewing bids are arranged. Clicking on view bid doesn't take me to that bid, it takes me to the page where all bids are listed. Then i have to decipher via email address which bid i'm looking for.

### "Navigation and Sub Coverage"

My experience with planhub is that i would recommend to anyone and everyone. This is my favorite platform to use based off the wide range of sub coverage. I will most definitely take this platform anywhere i go.

Pros

The navigation is so easy through the dashboard and the sub coverage has been the best out of all the other platforms ive used. And the communication from the planhub team is unmatched.

Cons

The one thing i dislike about planhub, is the subs that immediately respond with silly proposals that are not needed. Maybe there is a way to separate the surveying or subs that only charge for amount of material and time used? Maybe have a separate page for just material pricing?

Fantastic! Customer service has been great and we've easily landed more projects since utilizing PlanHub.

Pros

Plan Hub is user friendly and provides more information than other platforms. I appreciate the email notifications on new projects and how we can have our prequalification letter on our page. Great customer service as well

Cons

Pretty much the only thing I don't like about Plan Hub is how there are multiple pages of documents and each page only shows 10 documents to look through and each time you select a document to preview and then go back to the main jobsite page it always takes you back to the first page of documents.

overall, I am good with info showing project info, with downloading the dwgs, contacts, etc...

Pros

all is good, number of projects presented & some specific info as contacts & phone numbers, emails.

Cons

luck of subcontractor's (concrete & masonry) info that bidding the job for our product, listed all of them that even not related to the scope of our bid. We are bidding subs & web site shows GCs mostly. I am not sure but can't find the bid results. I am still getting invitations for the projects out of our established area.

Pretty good. We would like to be able to utilize more within the program but really can't do that until we have a good line of communication from our account manager.

Pros

The accessibility to subcontractors during the bidding process. The broad spectrum of subcontractors in all of the trades were impressive.

Cons

The lack of communication with our account manager. We have reached out a few times with no response from anyone from the Planhub team.

### "A great idea made tough to use"

The people, when dealing with them, are excellent. They are truly concerned, courteous, knowledgeable and willing. They don’t rush and will complete the situation. But the product makes even the simplest of takeoffs difficult, slow, cumbersome and worrisome.

Pros

Being able to give a takeoff condition a complete details so the person doing the pricing can understand exactly what those in the field doing the work will encounter.

Cons

1\. The size of the lines as they are drawn and remain! 2. The scroll and draw confusion and difficulty especially with the constant “pop ups” in the way. 3. Download of plans not available at PlanHub but provided by Architect or GC. 4. Having to completely make conditions over and over for something as simple as a height change. 5. Having to do pricing calculations manually. 6. Once again the difficulty of seeing the drawn lines and/or the count designations without swelling a drawn area so large it becomes too difficult to work with.

I have gained many customers/relationships using planhub, it has gotten me plenty of business for what we pay for the service.

Pros

The mile radius option the most because we cover a large radius and alot of software only provide states.

Cons

The option to use certain things well getting charged for it, i dont use the take off part of the offer but yet i get charged for it.

Great Product with multiple sources and job opportunities. Plan hub has different sections and numerous fields to bid on.

Pros

Organization structure take off tools and plenty of opportunities. plan Hub has at least 100 or more continues opportunities.

Cons

Contractors do not send updates in regard to bids submitted. Plan hubs need to reach out to users to help improve processes.

It works for my needs at this time, as I may need to upgrade in the Future. And at that time I hope you will have adjusted how you upgrade packages

Pros

The bid board is great lets us track what we are working on, what we have won and what we have lost.

Cons

It is not easy to understand how to upgrade on your site without speaking to someone over the phone.

It has overall been a great experience using the software. Saves a lot of time on scaling and counting materials.

Pros

It is a lot faster to do a take-off with PlanHub. I can reach my deadlines by the due date. Definitely worth the money to save a lot of time. It was all new to me to learn the parameters, but I believe I established it.

Cons

Only thing for me was once I clicked back off the project details, it would send me back to the main project page.

I like thefact that get email notifications of possible bids. I like fact that PlanHub loads fairly quickly for the most part.

Pros

The ability to see drawings or plans for the project. I like the fact that that some projects have LV plans.

Cons

Finding information on a project plans/drawings when scanning to see if you find a match. When I click and enter information on the search I cannot find information.

Really enjoy it. I have used other platforms and Plan Hubs ease of use is superior to all. I would definitely recommend this site to everyone.

Pros

Very easy to navigate this site. I really like the fact that I can download all of the documents and even send my proposal to multiple general contractors through one site. Make my day-to-day sales life easier.

Cons

I actually found no faults and had no issues. The platform ease of use is very impressive. I would recommend this site to everyone.

### "Great First Time Experience "

Great! It's been very helpful in expanding our reach and obtaining more jobs within the commercial market.

Pros

You could see all of the GC's bidding on the projects and you could send one estimate that would reach all of the GC to better to your chances. The map view was helpful to easily see what project we within our install radius.

Cons

It's not easy to navigate the drawings without downloading them. I also dislike that you are limited to 3 attachments and 500 characters when sending estimates.

Very good but the follow up needs to be improved. It is Almost impossible to chase down the awarded GC's and Subs

Pros

The Diversity of the Plans provided from Private to public projects . Easy to decipher and work with .

Cons

Does not follow up with Awarded Contractors and Subcontractors so we can get orders which is the ultimate result.

PlanHub is great! I have used it to make connections that would otherwise be hard to obtain and we have secured several contracts. We have sent out over a million dollars worth of bids and secured 10% of that back in contracts.

Pros

PlanHub provides a space to find jobs in one place. I like the fact that I can use this to connect to GC's outside of just providing a bid for a job.

Cons

It does show jobs that are barely out of your range but access to the information is limited. Sometimes I do feel that we are bidding against too many contractors and I wonder if we are comparing apples to apples.

Overall, I have had a great experience with Planhub. I have used a couple other sites. And I find Planhub the best. Great support! Easy to use and understand.

Pros

As a specialty contractor, I love that I can easily find the subcontractor on any project that I choose to bid.

Cons

Can't think of anything that I don't like. If I was going to change anything. I think I would breakout the Municipal and Industrial projects from the General Construction projects.

It has been ok but not as helpful as we thought it would be and were led to believe. We have only bid on 2 or 3 projects that match our scopes of work

Pros

We have been able to reach out to a few new General Contractors and are able to save projects to our own bidboard so everyone that has access are able to review the products and give feedback

Cons

A lot of the bids we receive have plans that are incomplete or are not provided at all. Also we have not received a lot of invites that are relevant to our scopes of work

Still learning a lot of the different areas. I have only been using this site for a few months and still have a lot to learn.

Pros

Able to find upcoming projects for bidding. Able to connect with other GC's that I either have been trying to connect with or one's that I have been wanting to connect with.

Cons

They typically only have one (1) bidding GC attached to the project. Would like to see a few more added to that particular project to reach out too.

7 out of 10. The zoom feature could be easier to use. Despite setting my radius and my office location, I still get notifications from outside of that circle. When I go to look at those jobs, I have no access to them. Also, I shouldn't have to pay Extra Extra just to see where the contractor is located.

Pros

Ease of use and access. Plenty of projects and a lot of contractors that we normally don't work with. It is a source for new customers.

Cons

The 50-mile radius limit is obnoxious given how much you all charge for the subscription. I think that a 100-mile radius would be a lot nicer for the price.

Awesome from the first time I spoke with a sales rep. I was in contact with a sales rep for over a year! We finally were in a position to switch and I am so glad we made that decision to go with PlanHub! Thank you again \[sensitive content hidden\]!

It user friendly and the account representatives are awesome! From the time I spoke with a sales rep to the time we entered a contract, it has been awesome!

Cons

I have not found anything that PlanHub could do better. I would like to have more Government/Military jobs on this platform.

So far, as a novice user, but with plenty of subcontractor experience, I'd give planHub a 9 out of 10.

Pros

Ease at which a bid can be tendered to multiple GCs at one time. However, searching for a project that you have in the system is problematic, at best. The search feature can use a LOT OF WORK to make it user friendly.

Cons

Some jobs are listed with single sheets, and must be searched one at a time, while some are listed with full sets of plans and specs in one or two windows. The single sheet at a time format is awful.
