Pros I like the convenience of having almost every local project available in one place. Saves a great deal of research time. Cons The only negative issue that I have experienced is when the same project is posted under slightly different names. Reason for choosing PlanHub There is a great deal more information available with PlanHub and communication with contractors is much easier. Cons We really do not have any dislikes as it provides the information we need to bid on new projects and gives us updates as soon as they are available. Have been asking for smaller areas for 4 years and still nothing. Pros Information and Tracking. most of the jobs have sufficient detail for us to decide if we want to bid or not. Cons Very few features in free subscription. some users find navigation unintuitive. Smaller contractors sometimes feel overshadowed by larger firms. I also appreciate the notification system for new project opportunities in my trade and region, which helps us stay competitive without constant manual searching. Cons What I liked least about PlanHub is the limited filtering and sorting options when reviewing projects. It can be time-consuming to sift through jobs that aren't relevant to our scope or geographic area. We recently launched a new feature where they can update the bid status so everyone is in the loop, they just have to actually use it. I feel like is not doing it 100% accurate with the keywords that I have added. I am excited to see more GC's added with even more work to chase. Pros Easy to interface and plenty of work to chase. The contact info for the GC's is good but it would be nice if they replied more often or if there was a way to see that the message had been read. Cons The submitted bid area should have an indicator showing that the bid has been opened/received by GC. It would be nice if a bid tab was available for review so we can see how competitive our numbers are in the market. Pros I thought that the jobs were legit. But i've bid about 15 jobs and I haven't heard anything back on them. And yes I have been reaching out to them. Cons Its all cons right now. Also, most of the emails/alerts I receive are from Pennsylvania, I am based out of Albany, NY. Overall, I haven't been satisfied with the results, I think we've only got one job in the time we've joined. I have been able to print plans after downloading them for a few perspective jobs recently, but our firm subscribes to another service as well, which is slightly easier to navigate. Pros I like that the emails come in on a regular basis, and the support has been very responsive when I've had an issue. Cons Ninety-five percent of the email/alerts I receive are for products or services that my firm doesn't offer.
