We haven't run into any issues with the product itself, it's just getting the GCs to divulge all the information to make bidding easier. Pros Navigating PlanHub is so easy. I love the tabs at the top of the screen to show you the project info, files, and even which GCs are bidding the project. Sometimes one GC will send an invitation and I can look under the GC tab to see other GCs bidding the same project so I can make sure my bid gets to all of them. We use the email invitations to load projects to bid. Pros Easy to use with the spread chart and the alot of details on projects. Also knowing the distance from office saves me time looking them up on Google Maps Cons I don't like getting ALOT of solicitation emails from estimating companies a day. We use a couple of plan sites and this is one of the better ones. Pros Easy to use the site and the customer service people are polite and helpful when we have questions. Very easy to find listings. If the takeoff tool was updated/fixed, the platform would become a lot more versatile. Also, it seems when messages are sent through the platform, they are never responded to or even marked as seen. Pros Being able to find jobs close to me, and being able to submit bids that become viewable to any new GC's that get added to the project. Cons The takeoff tool is not very useful. That is one of the main reasons we upgraded subscriptions, and it is often laggy and inaccurate when trying to measure distances. Like I said, it's very helpful for projects in the bidding phase, which is our sweet spot. Pros We love that there are contact lists for general contractors and bidding contractors so we can build relationships with key players in the region of the project. We also appreciate the variety of projects. Cons The document downloading functionality is a little rough sometimes. I wish we were able to separate the documents by Division or make it easier to download specific portions of the documents vs. the whole often hundreds of pages document. January 8, 2026 5.0 Mostly positive and it definitely gave me work when I was starting out and needing to find jobs, especially with contractors that aren't local but are bidding local jobs. Pros The ability to find contractors from out of the area that that are bidding on local projects is the biggest advantage for me. Send Bids to all general Contractors at once. Pros Plans are readily available. Most General Contractors are on the Bidding List. The alerts we get are very thorough. Cons Some Drawings are not available. Not all General Contractors are on the Bidding List and somtimes i have to reach out to them to request more info. Maybe I am too old fashion but this is not for me. No social, no web site, We work in the real world and have little use for on line presence. Pros Downloading plans is a simple process that even a cave man can handle. It is straight forward and easy. Cons it seems as though plan hub does not list projects, but rather waits for members to do so. I thought when I signed up that every project in my area would be listed and it just simply is not so. I am sure everyone can get one job a year to pay for the App. Pros From the time we start using PlanHub, we hardly use the other formats. Its easy to use for all my guys, its safe and has very good features like you can send for the same project to multiple GCs, that is a good value. And price is really fair comparing with other platforms. Cons I haven't got there yet to dislike but maybe next year I can give more details and find a dislike as well. The GC part - who is bidding is very good. Pros access to jobs bidding, number of jobs bidding and timeline for the bids is very nice. Finding the bids appropriate for our specified scope is there but not at first glance. Although people have been very nice and professional when I talk with them. Pros Easy access to other general contractors allows me to follow and get more bid invitations. Thats about it. Cons layout is terrible. Cannot read plan names. Have to hover over each individual one to read. Whole plan access layout is poor. Wasted space Have complained a couple of times.
