There should be a folder structure and there should be a topic structure matching that of the educational institution. \* No way to merge grades form two different tests. \* Impossible to fix errors in correct answers retrospectively \* Points cannot be adjusted retrospectively \* The text editor is so poor that it cannot be used \* The math input box and the equation input box are clumsy and terrible to use, and gets in the way. \* Drag and drop questions from one problem set to another is not possible \* No system for creating training tests \* Difficult to give the students their results on unofficial tests \* No system for giving student the correct answers after the test. One needs to manually cut an paste using screen dumps. \* It is not possible to make the number of points for each problem in the problem set visible to students \* If you press Esc, you will loos all your work on a problem with no warning. \* No way to punish wrong answers only for problems answered. Pros The idea of saving time by automating grading Cons The fact that the software does not save time. It is extremely slow, and difficult to work with, and lacks basic functionality. As I assume you are aware, WISEflow was selected as the best and most fitting solution for all of Norways higher education institutions as a result of a yearlong try-out of several suppliers and vendors, followed by an international tender process. Several of the raised issues seems to be connected to the Multiple Choice module in WISEflow and is therefore a poor reflection of the system as such and of the problems and needs a turnkey platform for the electronic management of assessment was commissioned to solve. Hopefully, the support team at UiT are able to help you in getting a better feel for the functionality of the MCQ-module.
