The interface is very easy to use, the record-keeping options are great and I like that there is no software to install. I especially like the customizable website option. It really is an all-in-one management system and has countless options for a modern-day shelter. I highly recommend Animal Shelter Manager! Pros This is a great software option for animal shelters of all sizes. The ease of use makes it a perfect option for organizing animal and staff information. It can be translated into 15 languages and is a popular choice because of its low cost also. This software is great value for money, easy to use, and perfect for keeping records organized. Cons I only have two small complaints about this software, the training provided is limited to documentation and the customer support can be limited to only a chat option. Personally, I prefer this, but some people don't. Despite these two minor complaints, the software is incredibly easy to use and set up. Pros When I first got introduced to the world of animal shelters, I was overwhelmed by the list of requirements they had. When I browsed through existing solutions I was about to give up and start to work on a solution for their specific problem when I stumbled upon Animal Shelter Manager, which not only answers 97% of their requirements, but is also open source, translatable and has awesome support! Our nonprofit manages a shelter full of pets, lots of foster families, adoptions, returns, relationships with vets and volunteers, donations, our own clinic - everything is managed beautifully from within Animal Shelter Manager. Cons The UI feels a little old and the mobile app needs a revamp, but other than that, it's awesome! We hope to help with improvements too! (it's open source!) Normally software like this can be bloated or somewhat janky but this one works very smoothly. All the buttons and options are easy to find and placed in logical places within the UI of the program. You also can teach others how to use it pretty easily. Cons There are a few areas where the software doesn't have the full breadth of options that my organization wants, but that is company specific.
