"Looks Great—But Not Ready for Professional Use"

**Overall:** Overall, DesignFiles looks promising at first but falls short in practice. It feels overpriced for what you get, and the lack of professional polish makes it hard to trust for client-facing work. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re prepared to constantly troubleshoot and pay for features you may not use.

**Pros:** The idea behind having everything in one platform—design boards, sourcing, and proposals—seems convenient in theory.

**Cons:** The platform feels unpolished and clunky. Basic functions require constant workarounds. Furniture sourcing doesn’t update automatically, creating unnecessary headaches. Clients lose access to their files if you pause your account, which feels unfair. Support staff mostly offer excuses instead of real solutions.
