I highly recommend it. Pros The Paypal commercial platform helps us to go beyond just simple payment collection. The most amazing phase of it is that it supports recurring billing, helps us to better manage risks, and overall; onboards customers.It's fast, reliable, and available all over the world. It also supports 100s of different currencies.It helps us to create and easily manage invoices, make payments, and accept payments in different installments. Pros As a complany, it gives you very good reputation if you enable your costumers to pay with PayPal (without charge). Cons The customer y very well sheltered if he pays with PayPal but as a seller you can see that the client is not always right and it is quite difficult to prove it with PayPal. Easy to integrate to my online store Cons They limited my account which has literally paused my business activity. The reason for it? No proof of address. I have given them the bills, utility statements, government documents, even the tenancy agreement and a letter from the owner showcasing the proof of address and yet still they fail to accept it and give me an accurate reason why. Stupid! Not to mention they LOST 500USD of my money and blamed it on my bank. I went to the bank and talked to the branch manager in which we concluded the money has not gone in. PAYPAL failed to provide enough evidence showcasing that they even started the transaction. Every time I bring it up they tell me that it is my bank's fault - same response each time. I will be moving to STRIPE purely because PAYAL customer service is terrible. I want my money removed from PAYAL as soon as possible - if they will even let me. If you value your money and information DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go with PAYPAL. They are almost a scam. Review Source AM Atul M. The fee they charge is also very low. I would recommend this to everyone. Cons In some situations, the waiting time for the resolution is longer that it should be but that is bearable. From purchasing from small start up companies to using it with major vendors like Starbucks and Bestbuy. It's a great way to pay for things without pulling out your credit/debit card. Cons My only issue is with its selection of gift cards that can be purchased and the lack of features in Canada that are available in other countries (buying crypto-currency directly through the app). Our demographic is mostly older individuals and we found that they prefer Paypal checkout over a general merchant account on our website. The ease of use for the consumer is great and payments are processed near immediate. Also, the money is available on our side very quickly. Transferring to our account takes only 1 business day as well. I highly recommend having Paypal Checkout as an option on your website. Cons The reports aren't great and definitely could be spruced up a bit. Since we have been using them for so long, the reports really haven't changed much in all those years. Cons The only thing lacking in my humble opinion is the ease with which in Brazil the competitor has Pagseguro or Mercado Livre to be able to pay in installments. Not everyone has a checking account and if they cannot pay in person with a credit card, doing so online is a great alternative. Pros My programmer is the one who put PayPal checkout on my website, and he said its easy to install. That is important because I have heard other options are difficult to deal with. Also. PayPal is a very recognizable brand so when my customers go to pay they can do so with confidence. Cons It can be buggy. PayPal has provided me the greatest convenience in transacting and this has revolutionized the way I earn and conduct my business. Pros Ever Since I discovered and started using PayPal, the way I conduct my business has been positively impacted and to be honest this is an understatement. PayPal has enabled me to receive payment from far away places that I have never dreamt of connecting with financially and this has opened a lot of doors. What excites me the most is how it is very easy to sign up, just a few clicks and I'm already transacting. Its just a dream come true, hassles are almost non existent. Cons Although I absolutely adore this software, I wish PayPal would expand into other countries especially third world countries which are mainly marginalized. I had an expirience where I wanted to create and use an account while I was in my African native land only to find out that PayPal services don't reach that place. The second con stems from the fact that there are a limited options on banks which I can link my Paypal with for easier withdrawals. The features related to dispute resolution are also good for both buyer and seller. The money transfer to the bank account is instantaneous. Cons There are a number of this which can be improved in PayPal, first and foremost the fees charged is very high which should be reduced. This morning i attempted again and was declined? One interesting fact that i recommend for all PayPal users sending monies is the fees for 2022? 2021 fees reflected $0.00 fees is you sending direct from your bank account and $3.99? if you were sending via Credit Card/Debit Card , but 2022 fees sending from your bank account now $4.99 and $8.21 if sending from your Credit Card /Debit Card this is a HUGE fee increase, so now looking at Venmo and other options moving into 2022, but these are huge Corporations looki Pros The value and customer service that PayPal had provided up the end of 2021, fees to send money were phenomenal and NO brainer Cons Fees for 2021, sending money fees went up from $0.00 using your bank direct or even Credit Card /Debit Card fees from $3.21 to Fees for 2022 using bank direct $4.99 and Credit Card /Debit Cards $8.21 so fees increasing at a HUGE rate moving into 2022 Review Source AR Abdou R. Pros Paypal is widely accepted and it's very easy to from customer standpoint. You just have to log in and Paypal takes care of everything else like shipping address, credit card details, and currency conversation. One of the biggest advantages is that you can keep balance in your PayPal account and you can use that any websites which accept PayPal. From the developer perspective, it couldn't have been any easier to integrate PayPal checkout. The documentation is very well documented and a lot of examples in various languages. Cons The customer service is very terrible, at-least through email. I have contacted them once and it took them a week to resolve the issue. The agent didn't even read the issue I was having and they just sent me links to resolve the issue which was completely unrelated to the issue I was having. Review Source DW Daniel W. Reporting and payouts are simple and easy. This product is just incredibly helpful. Pros PayPal is extremely easy to use for payment gateways, invoicing, and taking donations through my nonprofit organization. It is highly intuitive, has good support and community help modules, and has been very responsive when i had problems. I also really appreciate the below-market rate for nonprofit donation processing. Cons One feature that would be helpful for a non-profit is having the ability for the donor to pay the processing fees. Other donor software allows tis and it helps to cover costs for small organizations. One other concern is that some of my potential donors chose not to donate because they were unhappy with PayPal's socio-political activism and would not support using this product. When numerous donors tell em this, i need to look for other options.
