June 2, 2020 5.0 We wanted to give the customers a variety of options to pay so it's not a negating issue when checking out. I wouldn't want to lose a potential sale because we didn't have Paypal. Overall, the convenience, simplicity, and ease of use make it a no-brainer! Pros The ease of use to add it to our Shopify online sales page. It gives customers just another option to pay. With PayPal being so popular payment platform it seems almost necessary for anyone doing sales to use Paypal. The fees per transaction are very reasonable. The Paypal portal is so easy to use and operate as well. You can easily sync with your bank account and transfer funds the next day for free! So I wouldn't recommend using the instant transfer which requires an extra fee unless you need your funds immediately. It's really hard to mess anything up using Paypal checkout! Cons The only thing I can think of is sometimes when I download activity reports, it can be a bit slow/buggy. Other than that I don't really have any complaints. Pros • Providing speed, safety and security for payments. • Active customer service is available. • Excellent performance in providing the online billing system. • PayPal services are available in a large number of countries. • Does not provide full support for many smaller countries. Cons • The imposition of fairly high costs, the conversion rate which is much lower than the market rate. • He is responsible for those minor adjustments in the accounts that cause suffering to customers. As somewhat of a lazy person, it has saved me so many times from having to get up and get my credit card when trying to purchase something online. I think it is also safe to use and I trust PayPal. I hope that more online retail shops will enable payment with PayPal Checkout soon. Pros I think PayPal Checkout is awesome! It is so convenient! When I'm trying to buy something online like clothing or shoes, I can just use PayPal Checkout rather than have to get up and get my credit card and then input all of my credit card information. Also, if I have money in my PayPal account, PayPal Checkout will use it to pay for my items. Cons There is nothing really not to like about this software. The only thing is making sure that your payment methods from PayPal Checkout are still current so you don't have to worry about putting in a new credit card or linking a new bank account. It is accessible to use and I highly recommend this to those home-based workers that most of their payout method is e-transfer. Pros I've been using this PayPal since I've been working at an international company that only method to payout is through PayPal. This is very essential to transfer money anytime and anywhere wherein I can see receipts to where and whom my money transferred. The currency of money is well detailed as it was exchanged from dollar to peso and the overall features of PayPal is excellent. Cons I have a hard time wiring my money from PayPal to G-cash if it does not reach a minimum of 500 pesos which is the most accessible mobile payment here in the Philippines. As with any PayPal products you know you get great service, back up by reputation of amazing company that has existed since the 90s. Pros As anyone who used regular PayPal, knows it has amazing Customer Service, that always gets back to you fast, and resolves issues as much as possible. PayPal is eas to use, safe, and very fast. When they say 2-3 days, it's usually overnight. If you have a small business, and want to set p recurring payments to vendors, etc - this is a way to go.Also helps to manage returns and refunds. I did pay less for each transaction, but I'll pay a little more to PayPal if I can spend my time being proactive. Pros I was using Quickbooks and decided to give this a shot since I had issues with invoicing. It's so easy to use. I was able to change the invoice number on Paypal based on where I left off on Quickbooks. Sending the invoices is easy and I can set automated reminders when it's still due after a specific time frame. I use templates when sending invoices which helps a lot and cuts down on time. Pros We use this software each year on our website in order to sell gift certificates for our services over the holidays. It works great for us! Our staff gets instant notification of payment and we’re able to deliver the gift certificates to our clients. Cons The transition fees are a bit high, it would be great if the rates were a bit more competitive, but it’s still within a reasonable range. But if your customers are more impulse-based and you're worried about a dropoff at checkout, other platforms are likely better to allow them to enter their credit card, place the order, and move on with their day. Pros It's so easy to plug into a site! I'm a graphic and web designer; and when it comes to web design, I work exclusively in WordPress. Integrating PayPal checkout into a website is SO quick and easy, and great for sites where the client wants to be up and running, like, yesterday. Cons The major drawback for me was that it wasn't as streamlined and user-friendly as platforms like Stripe. This is great for places like nonprofits and community groups that want to accept credit cards quickly and want to use their PayPal account. In this sense it is more flexible than square. Cons Sending invoices via mobile phone is not possible. You need to download another app or just expect to do that on a desktop instead. I use square if I need to send an invoice from my mobile device.
