Paypal is widely recognised and my first time clients feel comfortable parting with their cash as most of them also use paypal.

Pros

Easy to set up and use, a great way to receive money for services when onsite and need to settle a bill immediately. Its easy to track payments and any income is automatically reported into my accounting software .

Cons

Originally Id sometimes forget to include these invoices in my usual acount reporting software but it all intergrates now so problem solved

I used it for several years, to bill my client/employer for my services. It's very intuitive, probably the easiest to use invoicing system. However, in my case, PayPal became too expensive due to the currency exchange rates and transaction and withdrawal fees, so I opted for direct bank account transactions and it didn't make sense to keep using PayPal.

Pros

The invoices are very easy to customize, create, and keep track of. You can save templates, clone old invoices, and send them out with one click. You receive notifications when sending them and when receiving payments and can trigger reminders. Very convenient solution for online and international payments.

Cons

Associated costs, including PayPal currency exchange and transaction fees.

Pros

I use PayPal on a daily basis. From invoicing to paying online, PayPal has been my go to payment software for the past 5 years. It is very easy to create an invoice and either download and email, or send it directly to clients through the interface. I would recommend PayPal to literally everyone looking to have their invoices organized and sent on a regular basis.

Cons

I would increase the hours of customer service and ways to get in contact with support.

Great experience so far. Easy to use and instant payments.

Pros

Paypal invoicing is the absolute best. Many of my customers requested it, so I am happy to offer the feature. Payments are instant, and customers do not have to create an account if they dont want to. Another great feature us payments be made from a linked Venmo or Cashapp. My customers were thrilled about that.

Cons

I have not had any issues as of yet. Paypal invoicing has been a lifesaver.

My overall opinion of PayPal invoicing is a positive one. It has made my customer invoices look much more professional. It continuously saves me time with have different pre-made templates ready to use, having only to enter sale totals. It is keeping track of all my potential payment or review follow ups, my credits, debits, tax info, customer and inventory info and/or possible item re-posts on my store platform. It is not overly expensive and integrates seemlessly with my online eBay store.

Pros

PayPal invoicing has excellent customizing options for making your business invoices really stand out. It is very user friendly app and not difficult to master quickly. There are numerous template choices and styles available, including the ability to add your own company logo and save.

Cons

The only small drawback that I experienced was due to my not having any previous experience with creating or setting up a template or invoice before this, I think a bit more direction or a 'how to' tutorial would have been a bonus. Once I figured it out, it was easy to manupulate but perhaps written crayon to begin with would have been an easier start?

Reason for choosing PayPal Invoicing

I chose PayPal right out of the gate because at the time, it was basically the option you had with eBay many years ago. However, now that I have been using it for over 10 years I would not want to change to another service because I am so comfortable and at ease using PayPal Invoicing.

We, The Last King have been using PayPal's invoicing features for about 7 years now since we started our band back in 2014. Upon achieving a consistent following that wanted to purchase our music in merchandise back in 2014 we needed a dedicated payment processing manager to not only use for all business expenses and merch purchasing costs, but to also accept a wide range of payment types to keep our merch moving at a consistent pace so that we can continue to be a band and generate the funding necessary to keep making music for a strong duration. We haven't looked back since as PayPal is the primary catalyst we use daily in managing all band sales, payment types, ordering requests, and inventory forecasts.

Pros

PayPal truly is a crucial component in our band's daily success as we love the mobile accessibility PayPal provides us with on the go alongside the peace of mind we receive from not only situating invoices within the PayPal app but also completing payments and accepting various external payment types to speed up our overall functionality and boost sales for the long-term.

Cons

Aside from PayPal's fees which are standard and to be expected with each transaction where there is no monthly recurring fee or cost to utilize Paypal, there are no negatives to using the program. Between the tax benefits, user-friendly accessibility, mobile benefits, and ease of use collecting/sending invoices there is no payment manager as beneficial or organized as PayPal!

The competitive advantage and additional options PayPal allows over Venmo and Cashapp is truly night and day. Those two other payment processing platforms really are only beneficial for individual users who make only a select handful of purchases each month. Where we are forced to purchase inventory in bulk and complete transactions almost daily, PayPal was the obvious choice and made everything a breeze throughout our tax filings over the years. Without PayPal our band would not have half of the success it has been fortunate enough to achieve today.

This program has been a game changer for my small business. It is easy to use and a great tool for tracking sales trends. I highly recommend this for any business looking for an easy way to send invoices directly to customers.

Pros

The best features of PayPal invoicing are the ability to customize your invoices, the sales insights as well as the ability to store your customers contact information in one location. Being able to customize invoices has allowed my customers to have a clear understanding of each product and service they are being charged for. This is a great option for small businesses, home based businesses and any business that operates online using social media.

Cons

The biggest complaint I have about this software is that it can be hard for the older population to use. I found that I need to explain to them that it may be a PayPal invoice but they do not need a PayPal account for them to pay that invoice. Most of the time they understand after I say that but sometimes they are still confused. I would recommend creating language for your customers that explains they are able to pay these invoices using a debit or credit card.

Reason for choosing PayPal Invoicing

I chose PayPal because it is a well known nd well respected financial organization. I was looking for a way to make customizable invoices while providing my customers with a secure way to process their payment.

My overall experience with Paypal invoicing has been successful. I have never had any issues with it over the many years I have been using it. Unlike a lot of "merchant accounts" that offered online payment processing, there were no setup fees and I could just get started and start sending invoices and accepting payments.

Pros

Since the start of integrating Paypal into my business, I have always found Paypal invoicing to be convenient, easy to use, easy to integrate and very functional.

Cons

The only thing I would say that could use some improvement are the design options for the invoices. While this is just a personal preference, the current options are acceptable.

\- User Interface: The PayPal Invoice site is very simple but powerful. Its simplicity makes it very user-friendly to people who are new to the platform and want to get signed up and go without a lot of hassle. All the invoicing features are intuitive and self-explanatory. - Customizability: Users can set their invoice up to look however they choose, including adding a company logo. Additionally, in the invoicing section itself, you can choose how you want the billing to be calculated. (ie: standard rate for a good/service or you can bill be per hour billable.) - Price: PayPal Invoice has no monthly fees or minimum balance required. They charge a fixed 3.49% + 49 cents for each transaction. PayPal is both a worldwide standard and trusted by people and companies around the world. - Security: Being a part of the PayPal system users can rest easy knowing they’ll enjoy the same level of encryption and security that you get with all other PayPal transactions.

Cons

The only two cons I ran into with using the PayPal Invoice service were that when you first sign up for the site, any paid invoice funds will be held under “Pending for up to 3 weeks” until at least 10 successful invoices have been made. Also, you should be aware that you will be unable to delete canceled invoices from your invoice history. Sometimes mistakes are made due to human error and invoices have to be canceled and redone. However, in your history, it may come across as a lot of suspicious activity.
