Pros

The program is packed with features, the user interface is beautiful, and the support team is top-notch. It has significantly improved my by Asset Health understanding, streamlining my work orders, and increasing my productivity.

Pros

user interface is easy to navigate. structures of procedures is nice. lots of nice customization options. Would like a bit more for enterprise functionality, like resource planning across multiple sites. That would take things to the next level

lack of gantt chart for planning work orders by asset. limited functionality of capacity planning for workers across multiple sites/orgs. Would also like better ability to connect documentation to asset types or asset packages, where the documents can be updated over time.

10/10. People have been amazing. Products are absolutely amazing. All of my guys love it and wish we had done this sooner.

Pros

Secure, user interface is simple and easy. Keeps track for me and helps me plan my day. Remembers where I have been and wha I have done.

I don’t like that my cell service has to be perfect for it to work. I rely on it so heavily I have to keep service or WiFi.

Great customer service. I felt super supported getting us up and running. I enjoyed the trouble shooting and work arounds to make the program work even better.

Pros

The program itself is very easy to navigate, there is minimal training as it is very intuitive. The BEST part of MX is the onboarding. I was matched with a dedicated support/account manager \[sensitive content hidden\] to help us get going. The starting is not the hard part, it is continuing to meet milestones to make the program work for us. \[sensitive content hidden\] worked with me to make goals and ensure my company reached them. Without her guidance and setting timelines together, we would not have had the program up and running as fast as we did (a few months). Almost 2 years later we are using the program as an integral part of our oil and gas operations, and everyone uses it!

Cons

It is time consuming to start to add all of the assets (however, there is a bulk upload which makes it easier!). A lot of up front work, but it makes it useable very quickly.

Manuel not only explained the ins and outs of maintain C but he also took the time to understand our organization, our basic needs, and our future outlook. He had patience and guided us through implementation and more.

Pros

is a user friendly and management friendly EAM system. It has many bells and whistles and we found it beneficial for our facility while focusing on work order, preventative work orders, and inventory management. It can do so much more but these are the key factors we focused on when aligning with MaintainX

Cons

only had one con, this is mainly the packages they offer. Some of the bells and whistles are tied into the enterprise plan and not every company needs the full enterprise plan. Just some of the components on the enterprise plan. Other than that, no cons.

Excellent experience. From implementation to solving login problems to training on how to maximize the system, the team has continually impressed.

Pros

works well across platforms. MaintainX technical support is excellent. The system allows us to customize how it works to fit best with our needs. The customer support team and account managers are stellar.

Cons

It is more expensive than our old system. Even so, I would not go back to our old system if it was completely free.

completely solved our work-order problem. Before using it, I had to create work orders in Google Docs, which was incredibly time-consuming. Now I handle everything through MaintainX. I created simple templates that I can reuse and send out to the crew, and what used to take me hours every week now takes just 20–30 minutes. It’s faster, more consistent, and a huge improvement to our workflow.

Pros

What I like most about is that it gives me a single space to create custom work orders for my operations crew. The calendar view is a game changer. Being able to see all upcoming work at a glance makes planning out the month incredibly easy. It also helps my team stay on top of upcoming jobs without confusion. Overall, MaintainX keeps our workflow organized and efficient.

Cons

What I don’t like is that can feel a bit complex when you’re first getting started. I recommend going through the MaintainX University training courses so you have a solid understanding of how everything works before diving in. It makes the learning curve much easier to manage.

Great. All my account managers and people I have talked to have been great. There was a time when they were subbing out support to foreign country and made things incredibly difficult with the language barrier.

Pros

The ability to track all aspects of our asset lists and see when work orders were created. Accountability is key!

Cons

The switched the work order trigger based on hour meters to automations. It is clunky and it looks like its in Beta. This is the one that that we used alot and what I wished that wasn't changed. I know that it is bc it is going in the direction of AI controlled and I just don't like my options being limited.

We have been using the system since early 2024 and have made an aggressive push since late 2024 to use it as our full tracker and request system. We love its easy-to-use platform and its availably to be used on phones and tablets as well.

Streamline inventory tracker. We use it daily to check in and out our dock activity as well as our service to our equipment.

has been a breeze to implement. After I set up my first location, the subsequent 3 I set up followed the same cadence and were quite simple. After the global procedures feature was rolled out, it allowed me to have control over all sites and update master forms in seconds. No more outdated checklists or heavy revalidation efforts annually.

Pros

The support form the sales, account management, and implementation specialists has been top notch. They've answered every question posed and have a deep understanding of the platform.

Cons

A few functional items were not available when I first onboarded the program in December 2023, but all issues and asks seem to no be resolved.

To date, we've had an awesome experience using the platform. Ira Famarin our account rep has been very helpful in helping us get into a position where works for us the way we need it to. The ability to back track and had historical downtime data has allowed us to provide well organized data and visuals for captial expenditure approvals. Overall, the experience has been wonderful.

Pros

We've been able to completely eliminate paper work orders and streamline our inspection processes. The AI features that continue to be added are very impressive and continue to boost the overall efficiency of our maintenance department.

Cons

I think the only cons that we may have are not really things that fall under the accountability of , as much as the learning curve in relation to technology of some of our longer tenured maintenance employees.

It is enabling data collection for indicators. Digital record keeping of our equipment inspections for regulation compliance. It is helping our technicians initiate conversations about some outdated procedures. Gives us insights into critical inventory.

Pros

Mobile-first UI with an intuitive interface. Our technicians are taking lots of photos now. Voice comments with AI transcription for more insightful records. Like the ability to create assets, location, parts and vendors on the fly. First-class support from our Account Manager and also via technical chat.

Cons

Some features are missing, but I see them on the development roadmap. Hopefully the AI copilot will be a default one day and not a paid extra. Don't have a native integration with label thermal printers.

I have had nothing but great experiences with . Our Account Rep is always responsive, the help chat is always responsive and helpful, and the platform itself is fantastic.

Pros

I love 's flexibility and the ability to make it what you need it to be. It can be used for inventory, asset tracking, work order and workflow allocation, communication, and reporting (which is always helpful with management). I use it to track assets and PM for biomedical equipment and all the other moving parts of a Tribal Health Center

Cons

I'd love to see some more flexibility with the parts inventory, like sub-parts that are part of a whole kit or assembly. With dental/medical assets, I tend to deal with assemblies, not just individual parts, which sometimes gets a little convoluted when adding costs to a work order.

Overall it is a good program but there are a few things that I mentioned in the cons that would make it 5 stars.

Pros

Very easy to create/edit procedures and implement. Support responds quickly even if it is something that they can't fix.

Cons

The AI and OEM features are unusable due to inaccurate data. Some reporting functions can only export via CSV which is not user friendly when trying to share with team members. Can only go 2 deep on conditional formatting for procedures. The drag/drop features when building procedures are extremely finnicky and make editing things a pain. Sorting/searching automations is not available so it is unusable for our organization with thousands of meters.

Could not have chosen a better software! We reviewed many prior to this and we chose correct. The customer support has been stellar - always prompt and correct responses when questions arise. Integration has been seamless.

Pros

Easy to use software for both administrators and technicians. Assets and work orders are clearly laid out and easy to trace to find the information you are looking for.

Cons

AI recommendations in places like procedure creation, but I personally am skeptical about AI to begin with. Serial numbers cannot be customized and are often too long to memorize or remember.

Excellent. Since using everything we rely on to perform maintenance and keep records is all in one place, meaning WOs are completed in a timely manner with minimal mistakes.

User friendly for everyone. Very simple and easy to navigate on desktop and mobile app. Great reporting functions

Cons

Lack of PO capability on Mobile app. Mobile app doesn't show the entire screen when mobile font size is set to large, meaning items in work orders often got missed by older staff.

Modern Cay CMMS Program that has all of what a Printing Company Needs to Manage their Assets, Inventory, and PM and SWO Work Orders.

The only thing that I can see as an opportunity for improvement would be the ability to change the templates for Work Order Requests to be more industry specific.

Experience with so far has been great. I have used various other CMMS's at this point and can say MaintainX has been the best.

Pros

The system is very easy to use and learn. Great customer support. Implementation was smooth and easy. AI features are the best I have seen in a CMMS so far. Work order tracking, asset tracking & PM tracking have improved greatly. We also get a lot more information from the Mechanics/Electricians input into the system.

Cons

Small interface things that we would like to see or improve upon. has been great to work with to try and add or resolve any issues.

Its been great. The transition was painless and they have weekly meetings to help and easy the process.

Pros

What I liked most about was how it streamlined work order management and communication. It made it easy to track tasks, assign work, and see real-time updates from the maintenance team, which really improved efficiency and accountability.

Cons

Honestly, we haven't really found anything. A great feature would being able to switch to dark mode.
