Positive. Coming from the military and using very old hard to use CMMS programs, coming to something mobile based is refreshing.

Pros

Ease of use. There's also a lot of versatility with this product. We are able to incorporate work orders, procedure writing and more into one easy to use location.

Cons

Some of the functions are pretty basic so it takes some tweaking to get the desired outcome on some projects

I enjoy it. It's easy to navigate and user friendly. If training needs to be performed technical support is always there to help.

Pros

I liked the customer service most of all. Any time I had any questions, the chat option was instrumental. Never had to wait more than 4 minutes to talk to a person, and they always had what answers I was looking for.

Cons

The constant dashboard reset after an update. I would spend much time customizing my fields and when an update would occur all of my custom sets would default back to the original set up.

Overall we've been mostly happy, there have been bumps in the road when it comes to set up and getting recurring work order to behave how we want them to. Any time there have been issues, we've gotten good support and pathways to most things we want to accomplish.

Pros

The customizability allowed us to create a site that is more tailored to our maintenance program. The support we've received with set-up and troubleshooting has been helpful. The ability to add files to work orders/parts/locations is great.

Cons

Some things are not as user friendly as I'd like, but MaintainX is supportive. The parts inventory module leaves some things to be desired, but it seems like there are improvements in the pipeline.

My overall experience has been great with MaintainX. I have assigned roles, completed tasks, and this has allowed me to create suggestions for FIP, 5S, and more GMP protocols to be implemented into our plant.

Pros

The integration of the time and work that are put into creating preventative maintenance plans, as well as spare parts indexes are now considered Automated at our plant. It is still in the works to get the software more integrated closely with our departments, but I do see the effect and the visibility that the software provides through our different departments helps with having these projects completed as well.

Cons

A few cons that I have noticed with MaintainX are integrating the project owners with the plant. It takes effort from multiple departments to align these new processes into place. I noticed personally, that I am working on one of the project owner's tasks regardless of us having this software. I am hoping in the future, once this program is more integrated into our company, our main MaintainX point of contact can have more time with performing organization with Spare Parts, as this is a necessity for MaintainX to work.

It has been great so far but, we have a long way to go to get where I want to be. not Maintain X's fault we just have a lot of data to get in and get working for our application.

Pros

Ease of use and short learning curve to get started.

Cons

Updates that take effect without notice. There have been occasions where we have been doing something a certain way and then all of a sudden that way doesnt work anymore or a button is missing. maybe just a heads up of changes when they happen. Also a few hiccups with support from Maintain X in data entry but we are getting it worked out

Pros

Ease of use and friendly UI interface. It easily allows you to track and coordinate maintenance tasks using the calendar

Cons

It has a bland white background which is slightly dull to look at. Sometimes there's an issue with the keyboard not disappearing on the mobile application.

we have been using maintain x for over a month and i love all aspects of the program. i would recommend the program to other users

Pros

we are able to setup and schedule all of our work from any of our devices and anywhere we are. using procedures makes workorder setup very quick and easy

Cons

the calendar feature doesn't show long term projects as good as i would like. they only show on the due date. i would like it to show on the current date also

We use maintainX to track PMs, Breakdowns, and work orders. Tracking time spent on work orders lets us see the cost associated with each machine.

Pros

MaintainX is easy to use and helps keep Preventive maintenance and work order organized. The report tracking is helpful for tracking work done each week.

Cons

It is sometimes hard to find parts if the descriptions are not very detailed to what you are searching for.

The transition has not been easy or seemless but Ira is holding meetings with us each week, answering our questions as we maneuver the site, and providing us with guidance along the way.

Pros

Easy to use and maneuver the website. We can load lots of important information into MaintainX. We are learning how to utilize the Reporting features and it appears it will be beneficial to the company.

Cons

Transition from the previous CMMS system we were using to MaintainX has been a bit rough. It seems the information we need could not be easily imported to MaintainX so the transition has not been seamless. It has and continues to involve a lot of work.

My main area of usage within MaintainX is Stock Management. This has improved our processes immensely. We now no longer need to use excel spreadsheets to log stock numbers to see if we need to reorder a part. We get email notifications which allows us to ensure we do not run out of important items. Reporting allows me to get information quickly for analysis and we are able to manage orders more efficiently. Backorders are now not missed meaning we can chase suppliers. The area fields have made a big change as colleagues can find parts quickly. Overall it has made us a lot more efficient and the flow of the engineering department has greatly improved.

Pros

Inventory Management - ensuring we keep minimum inventory levels of all products to reduce downtime. Costings linked to work orders Area fields so colleague are able to find part quickly Reporting options

Cons

I would like MaintainX to use a FIFO method when allocating product costs to work orders. Not being able to view orders on the mobile view

Pros

Maintenance management, helps us keep track of what our maintenance staff are doing. I also enjoy the asset tracking and metering of our equipment.

mobile version, not as intuitive compared to computer version. Hard for some of my associates to use throughout the day

How easy the platform is to use and being able to utilize a robust mobile app to access our companies asset data in the field.

Great! Efficient platform to easily add work orders for our maintenance crew. Easy way to keep track as well. It has been a great addition to for our staff

Pros

The quick ability to add jobs for our maintenance crew. it is a nice addition to our company to keep track of projects and allow our crew to upload progress photos. and comments. it has been a useful tool for us to monitor jobs and ensure they are being completed as needed.

Cons

No real cons. some of the reports are a little too detailed for us. a nice feature would be to be able to export an excel report that can include photos and data such as time it took to complete job, start and end date and notes that were made on the work order

Coming into this role I could simply identify the maintenance requirement across about 30 facilities with ease. Now we are increasing our data set to capture our assets we will no doubt be further down the road in terms of asset management. MX has without doubt improved the way we work, and our team would say the same.

Pros

Very effective tool - and intuitive. This tool has improved our maintenance planning short and long term. Great tool for communicating across teams to address maintenance issues. As a manager it is very effective to monitor the status of work. We are in the process of including more procedure and audit, so proving very useful for contract management and health and safety. Awesome tool.

Cons

I have no issues with Maintain X as an operational tool. As we grow our information, we will have a mix of scheduled maintenance items and reactive. I'm aware you view these within the system. I'm wondering how we could separate these so we can view these on the main screen to separate the scheduled and reactive for each facility. I'm sure there is a way - but haven't really delved in too deep at the moment because it isn't causing an issue, but I may in the future.

It has been great. It is super easy to use and has all the tools we need. The team have been super helpful in ensuring that we are getting all of our needs met.

Pros

It is super user friendly. It has been really nice when it comes to adding assets and work orders very easily.

Cons

Not being able to upload certain things and having to send it off to maintain x team. It can just be rough sometimes having to reach out and then wait in order to get certain things uploaded.

We started looking for a company-wide solution to automate and address our general needs for managing asset maintenance. MaintainX has not only fulfilled those needs but has also provided greater insight into how we utilize our resources for asset management. Today, we use MaintainX to manage and maintain more than 50 critical assets, achieving significant improvements in machine uptime and overall efficiency. MaintainX is the very definition of a modern CMMS.

Pros

The application is very intuitive and consolidates all the essential functions needed to efficiently manage your maintenance department.

Cons

Not much, in general it is a great solution.
