general experience with maintainx has been good. All the team have been extremely helpful and the 24hr support is a big bonus

being able to create history on an assets downtime. i like the auto generated kpis the system can produce.

i think the system could benefit from being able to customise the requestor form. I also think you need to change the asset operating times so they can be customised

Our previous system pales in comparison to Maintain X- managing orders, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships in one system with live ordering and receiving capabilities has not only made my work flow more efficient- it has solidified and the relationships between procurement and maintenance within our organization.

Pros

As a buyer supporting maintenance from the procurement perspective of the business, Maintain X is extremely easy to use for inventory and order management. It helps align procurement with maintenance teams to achieve company goals while promoting communication and clarity between two departments that are often at odds with each other.

Cons

The frustrations I experience with the program are not so much focused within the program itself; more so in that support and focus on development of the purchase orders and inventory modules is slower/not as high of a priority as the more maintenance focused modules, like work orders.

Our facility uses MaintainX for daily maintenance operations, enhancing visibility, staff utilization, and response time. It's easy to use, improves communication in real-time, and allows quick data access and troubleshooting through detailed order updates and equipment manuals.

Pros

MaintainX is very easy to use, which makes it an effective and fast communication tool for people on the manufacturing floor to request help from maintenance or plan repairs. I appreciate its real-time work order updates and the ability for technicians to chat live with their supervisors, quickly upload photos of problems, or access equipment files to get necessary manuals. The initial setup within the software was also straightforward. We are finding the support is highly engaged and provide solutions as fast as possible. The cost structure is a good value at the enterprise level, Competitor licensing structures are more expensive, and just don't provide the support.

Cons

One opportunity is the scheduling features, this module could be more straightforward and to use the calendar for tracking both planned and completed jobs. It needs to be simpler for supervisors to pull from pools of planned work alongside PM selection pools. We also want more functionality in materials management and increased data collection of Bills of materials and asset-specific item usages. The initial setup of MaintainX was easy, but as an old facility, collecting and verifying our data internally was very difficult so some on-site support would have been favorable.

My experience with MaintainX has been positive. It has helped improve visibility, consistency, and accountability across our properties by bringing work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and reporting into one system. The rollout has taken time and ongoing support, but we've seen improvements in documentation, tracking, and our ability to make decisions based on real data.

Pros

The visibility it provides. It gives us one place to track work orders, PMs, inspections, and asset information across all properties. Instead of spending time chasing updates or digging through emails, I can quickly see what's happening, identify issues, and pull the information I need. It's also helped create more consistency in how maintenance activities are documented and managed.

Cons

The reporting tools provide a lot of useful information, there are times when I can't get exactly the data or format I'm looking for without exporting it and doing additional analysis.

From the very first meeting with MaintainX to the integration and support everything has been great. Our account rep is wonderful and answers emails and questions almost immediately. Anytime there is an issue it is resolved in a timely matter that does not interfere with the flow of our work.

Pros

The mobile app is my personal favorite, it's just as easy as the desktop version. I have everything I need at my fingertips!

Cons

Honestly, there isn't anything I do not like about it. MaintainX is so much better than the previous platform we used in everyway.

It has been great! It is a great CMMS platform with tons of ability to communicate and assign tasks in the facility. Having history on issues is also super nice if we have repeat problems we can start seeing if there is a way to remedy the issue or have a reference to quickly remedy the breakdown.

Pros

User interface is extremele beneficial to us, being able to generate work orders or requests with the ability to add pictures and detailed descriptions is nice. I also enjoy the integration to our spare parts system, the fact that we can have everything in one spot is nice. MaintainX is also very helpful when we need something from them, if we reach out for a solution they are pretty quick to help.

Cons

Sometimes it feels we are at the mercy of MaintainX on some features, specifically if we need something custom made that feels like it should be easy to do. But that is rare.

It was slow at first and not all of our information/data could be transferred from Hippo so I had to perform a lot of extra work inputing information into MaintainX. After the initial start-up, \[sensitive content hidden\] has helped us tremendously by assisting us in learning about MaintainX and how to access the features. It is easy to use and if detailed information is entered by our employees, it is a very useful tool

Pros

Customer support - \[sensitive content hidden\] and her team have walked us through the process of switching to and using MaintainX

Cons

Really hasn't to do with MaintainX but with personnel at our company accepting new software and willing to change to MaintainX

We love MaintainX. Our support group is always ready to help with any issues such as reporting, setting up new users, and coming up with solutions to issues they haven't heard of.

Pros

How friendly and intuitive the platform is and how easily supported we are when faced with an issue/concern.

Cons

The reporting side of things is a little less intuitive. Sometimes we need a specific report that takes time from both sides to come up with a solution.

Great experience overall. Setup was pretty fast and smooth, we have had a few issues with the IOS app but they were resolved fast

Ease of use and top notch customer service. Great mobile and desktop app with tons of options and reporting features.

Cons

Parts searching on the mobile app can be difficult mainly due to screen size. The desktop version works great for the parts searching.

Our overall experience with Maintain X is the ease of working in a system that allows all teams to utilize a user friendly software that communicates with each other on day-to-day processes.

Pros

My representatives are attentive to our needs, Ease of use of the software, and the capability to upload spreadsheets, photos, and PDFs as needed.

Cons

Work arounds. For example, the labels requiring a QR code. We have to go to an outside source for this task.
