I really like that I can turn my notifications off and turn them on right before I go back on duty with in an hour. Previous applications I couldn't do that, this way I know if my unit just went on a call or if they will be do back shortly. Pros That we can customize our responses to meet our needs and that it doesn't have to be a generic response because the program is non-customizable. Cons I haven't found anything that I really "don't" like about the software... everything seems to be an upgrade from the software we were using. Switched from [Active Login Manager](https://www.capterra.com/p/152464/Active-Login-Manager/) Our region obtained a grant for First due for all jurisdictions to try it and see if they liked it, the advantage is we can see all the notes from each jurisdiction as the call is being updated by the call taker in real time. Battalion Chief Public Safety Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "First Due Size Up" June 12, 2020 5.0 Overall First Due has provided a our department with a program that is more efficient then what we have used in the past. The ability to have multiple data points pulled into one program was needed. Completing preplans are simple to do in the field that allows information to be shared quickly through our workflow process. The addition of Community Connect and the information it provides about our residential addresses is extremely valuable to our mission. Pros First Due has been easy to integrate into our current operations. The platform via the computer and application are easy to use and teach to our members. This software provides a location for collected information to live and be accessed in a timely manner. The notification and mapping to incidents helps get our member started to the call. The dashboard provides quick tiles that allow responders to quickly identify hazards that can be encountered at the emergency incident. Cons Some more customization abilities would be nice to allow the administrator and users the ability to make timely changes not having to rely on the company who is busy with multiple clients. Switched from [ArcGIS](https://www.capterra.com/p/93333/ArcGIS/) Our ArcGIS was not maximized to provide us all of the same items. First Due provides more than just placing a preplan symbol on the map for components of the building. First Due is more user friendly via computer and mobile devices. Review Source CA Chris A. It has everything that a first responder would need while en route to an emergency. The ease of use makes it easy to implement to all crews. I would highly recommend to any Fire/PD department to help have a true "live" library of target hazards. The information can be updated on the fly and be immediately available. Cons None, anything that we feel is missing, First Due easily develops and implements. Alternatives considered [EPR FireWorks](https://www.capterra.com/p/162019/EPR-Fireworks/) Reason for choosing First Due First Due offers more and is the only fully 3 dimensional product that is just not creating a PDF to be edited. They are constantly making improvements. I love the mapping to help me visualize the data. Pros Using First Due I can efficiently manage the entire fire prevention program and increase my productivity. Cons Need to add risk analysis for community risk reduction. Reason for choosing First Due Image Trend was difficult to setup and use. It doesn't meet my needs. It's painful ! Review Source bR brian R. Their staff is very responsive and goes above and beyond to quickly answer questions we have. Pros First Due provides users with up-to-date information on their incident responses with only a few button clicks. This software has revolutionized pre-incident situational awareness in emergency response. Cons Have not come across any dislikes with the software to date.
