Makes helpDesk tasks easier to get done without physically being at the machine

Pros

Its ability to control any computer on our domain without logging the user out. also has a wide variety of tools.

Cons

doesnt seem to work perfectly with 64bit opperating systems. also, deletes saved machines or make duplicates

Works great.

Pros

Easy, quick, works great. Excellent price.

Cons

Their customer portal is terrible. Just terrible. A simple renewal is like pulling teeth. Licenses, license managers, all of it about half-working and necessitating a call to tech support every damn time it's time to renew.

Being able to connect to remote clients while they watch what I do.

Pros

Quick and easy. However, I will take some time to establish a connection with some computers. Also , sometimes you have to wait for the client to accept. Is this because FIPS is enabled?

Cons

Everytime i connect to new machine, the entry list from a primary host gets renamed with the newly entered host. I know i need to click "new entry" but the old dameware i did not need to do that.

Remote support and easy client interaction.

Pros

being able to remote into workstations and utilizing all the tools that help us support all our clients in a fast and easy way where almost no interaction or downtime on the client side.

Cons

I do not like the way some remote utilities work like on the mini remote I can't actually get a full screen of the remote workstation so I have to scroll a lot to get to a place where I need to click on it.

Connections to devices and management of the network is great. The ability to connect to devices quick and safely.

Cons

Sometimes it does not refresh quickly. I think I need to customize my connections to be able to connect better.

An efficient and easy to use product in order to support end users company wide. Used throughout the department. Would highly recommend.

Pros

Very easy to use, fast and full featured. An essential tool for the IT Department to efficiently support end users.

Cons

The inability to nick-name computers in the mini remote support client to reconnect to late. It would be helpful to add usernames to the computers after connecting to allow ease of reconnection later.

The top feature that dame ware has to offer is "ease of use". Everything is put the the right place. A lot of common sense went into building this product.

Cons

I wish it was more inexpensive and provides integration with other software we have in our organization.

Have not had much interaction with Support, but the techs I work with say that its fairly good. Responsive and concise.

Pros

The ease with which a technician can remote to a users system is great. Interface is easy to use and understand.

Cons

Comes with many additional programs for configuration, licensing etc. Could be centralized to have all features in one application.

What I like least was the display window once you launched the program was not a consistent size nor did it appear in the same location that was expected.

Price and usability. The price is hard to beat compared to other companies. The product is also very user friendly.

Cons

The only problem we have is we are unable to remote control a workstation with the wired and wireless enabled at the same time.

Cons

Licensing is cumbersom Somtimes the video driver doesn't load correctly Sometimes get an error that connection is rejected due to version.

Using the product to connect to all pcs on the domain is very easy. to be able to chat with user before connecting.

Cons

when entering a pc name it will save it over and over, so when looking at the list it will show multiple same computer names

Cons

Cost is slightly high. Licensing has been challenging to maintain but that is partially due to uniqueness of the site.

Pros

You can remote into PCs even if they are off the network, as long as there is an IP you can remote into it.

Cons

Might be silly, but the one thing I can stand is I cant drag the screen to my second monitor. The only thing I can do is, resize the screen until I get it to my other screen. Sometimes I just want to look at one users screen but on my other screen, but It doesn't allow you to drag it.

I like how you can run multiple sessions and how it is very reliable in the sense of crashing. It doesnt. I dont have a con really. This software is very helpful and I would recommend its use to anyone needing to provide remote support.

Pros

It allows me to assist people who having a difficult time locating something. I love that you can change the arrow key to adjust the teaching you might be doing with a client.

Cons

The fact of how the process seems hard to start the process. It is harder for client to find the tag number of the computer then it would be for us to just locate their name if they were online successfully.

Great product for assisting end users with support. Screen share with lock down features. Very quick on our LAN and WAN.

Cons

I wish it was client less. Also we run into issues deploying client unless we run application as domain admin.

This is a great tool and we have been using it for over 10 years... The support is via email and sometimes there is a delay but besides that, it is a wonderful tool

Mostly ease of use verse the price point. Very little setup needed to run it. Works with just about any system.

Cons

Won't work on a Mac. You can remote into one but not from one. This is too powerful of a tool not to have it.

Pros

We love the interface, the ease of use, and the support. I can't say enough good things about the support. Just closed a case and worked through everything step by step to a resolution. Excellent customer service.

Cons

Difficult to navigate the options (because there are so many), at least at first. Training others to switch was a little difficult but the product is very stable and worth the effort. Only other complaint is the search missing from AD. Not sure how hard that is to integrate but that would be extremely useful.
