Pros

In my role, I work with the HiddenLevers team to set up, schedule, and coordinate team meetings and trainings. The HiddenLevers team is responsive and timely in answering questions and serving our needs. They continually work with us on implementation and providing the service we need. From an advisor standpoint, the market simulations is a great tool when meeting with clients.

Cons

At this point, we are still in the early stages of implementation and I haven't been able to find any "cons" in my role.

Overall experience has been pretty decent. When I've had a question, I get a prompt response using the online chat feature.

Pros

Integration with Orion Advisor Systems, allocation optimization, simple client risk questionnaires and IPS generation were must-haves. Also, we liked that the detail of the risk comparisons (asset class info, sector exposure, etc.). Also, the risk/reward comparison can be looked at over multiple time periods.

Cons

We're still getting used to the system. Navigation can be a little difficult. Model imports from Orion integration are not useful to us and not able to be suppressed.

Pros

Once we were trained on the product, finding the link, downloading the surveys into pdf were easy.

Cons

It's very difficult to search for clients to see if they have filled out a survey, it seems like the only way to find their survey is to click the emailed link once they have completed it. Also, the link to send to clients is very cumbersome, and there are no features to change the name of the sender - ie I am sending the survey on my boss' behalf.

Lack of calculated fields. Don't know if a function of application or a setup choice.

Pros

I love the way that it has a style box to show exactly what the client is invested in and the short term (1-year) volatility that could be had in the software

Cons

It is not very easy to use. I have difficulties trying to link it up and pull over accounts and holdings from eMoney. In Riskalyze, we also had "speed limit" signs to show the risk which we would like in Hidden Levers as well.
