Pros Entegy is very easy to use, which is the most compelling thing about it. As a result of this, our entire team was able to quickly get up to speed with the platform. The learning curve is very shallow. Cons One of the most disappointing things about the platforms is the 'integrations' it offers. We were excited to be able to link our Eventbrite account, but we ran into authentication issues. We also ran into issues when creating an app for Android. Registration process is easy as well as data migration. The Event App is easy to use and program and a relatively good value compared to app ownership. Cons The Event App tries to please a broad audience and in doing so its limited in customization. Same for the Eventbrite registration system. We still opted to use our own registration system to print badges at the show because of the rather higher cost to do so from Eventbrite. I love that as rooming changes, I can adjust the schedule on the fly - even from my phone. A presenter pulls out or gets sick, adjust the program. Feedback is collected through the app, exhibitors collect their leads through the companion app, delegates' attendance is registered through a companion app. Seamless. Cons Nothing at all. I love that we can have one app for all our events and just have a different rego code for each event. The Entegy staff provided great preparation and on-site support. Pros Seamless integration with EventBrite registration. Easy app customization. Good onsite support from Entegy staff. Good value for the cost. The Entegy Suite platform has great analytics about registration, app usage, app store downloads, and more. Cons The badge printing platform was not great. The printers had many technical errors and the quality of the printed badge was poor. Switched from [Cvent Event Management](https://www.capterra.com/p/26318/Cvent-Event-Management/) Reasons for choosing Entegy Suite We previously used CVent for both registration and the app. We found that the CVent app and web platform were poorly integrated, even though they were part of the same company. No problems at all. Pros Easy to use once we downloaded the app. Very user friendly and checking in attendees went smooth. The support was excellent. I could email or call with questions and received timely responses. Cons I think the costs of this software for the part we tested was quite expensive. This may prohibit us from using the software for future meetings as we have 3 per year. Reasons for choosing Entegy Suite History with Eventbrite was our primary motivator in looking at Entegy. We have been able to create intuitive and easy to use apps that also have a great look and feel. Pros The Entegy software allows our organisation to collate information about all of our major events in one handy app that can easily be updated in real time to reflect changes that take place before or even during the event. We especially make use of the ability for app users to organise their own schedule of what to see and do at events by linking information across different sections of the app (e.g. if a user wants to find out when a particular entertainer is performing, they can search for that entertainer and find out all of the times that they are performing). Cons Unfortunately I have had issues when using apps created with Entegy on android smartphones, where the app will frequently crash after just a few minutes. We have not had the same issues on iOS, but many people I know use android so this needs to addressed so that we can give all users of our events app the best experience. Looked good. Easy to use. Pros That the back end up loading was very straight forward, although I would have preferred a little more direction when it comes to linking. I was taught by a co-worker. I'm not sure how many guides are easily accessible for functions tbh. It may all be via and Entegy representative to show you how to use it. Cons The 'refresh' feature. It was different on each phone and not obvious to the casual user. Each time something was updated, you needed to refresh the app. Unless you knew of an update, you're either refreshing all the time just in case, or not refreshing at all.
