Pros: Sublime text is my default text editor no matter I am on which operating system. Its light and feels so good to use. The best thing about this that while the barebones of the software might not impress you, there is no limit to how much you can customize it using thousands of free (and sometimes paid) plugins. You can build your own plugins yourself even, if you have a little programming skills like me.

Cons: With the rise of other editors like Atom and VSCode, the use of Sublime is steading on the decline because we, as software developers want newer features to be built in right into the editor and Sublime Text has shown no signs of improving in the past several years.

Overall: It has been a glorious run with Sublime Text. There are several Websites and Applications I have built with this but nowadays I am slowly shifting to better options just because of the sheer lethargy if the ST team to add some good solid new features to their software.

Pros: I like the ability to "load" a directory structure while having multiple tabs of text documents open at the same time. Also, you can search an entire directory for specific text or file names.

Cons: Doesn't have built in support for saving in either Unix or Windows based formats, so when I'm on Windows and need to edit in Unix format, I have to use other tools.

Overall: Overall this is a great product, it's my go to text editor. The ability to quickly search all files in a structure for specific content, or all files in a structure for specific names is great. It has great highlighting support for various text file formats such as sql, html, xml etc.

Cons: The learning curve is bit difficult is someone who tries to work with sublime in very first time other hand no things to mention as bad things ,it better one

Overall: It's the better IDE to coding in developing the field.Sublime will be better Chose for you.

Pros: Lots of context-driven color coding! Generous freemium model.

Cons: I wish there was a markdown preview, so I could see what the rendered md would look like.

Overall: I recommend this widely, mostly because Sublime Text trusts its users -- e.g. no limit on the free product -- they know you'll like it so much you'll spring for the full license.

Pros: What i really like about the sublime text is the "features" which is not available or provide by any other text editor. the features which i talked about contains regular expression search, diff. themes , it provides any type of language like c, c++, java and in web designing HTML , HTML-5, CSS ,Javascript and PHP also. so, basically sublime is helpful in both front-end and back-end to deal with.

Cons: There is nothing much to dislike about the sublime but the thing by which i get problem is developer console and there is some problems containing execution in some of languages like c and c++.

Overall: There is some business problems which i solved personally by using sublime regarding my website which is based upon languages like PHP , python , html , css and javascript which all are available in this text editor.

Pros: It's lightweight, under 50mb and installs in minutes. No bloatware included. The basics are there so it's color coded, makes it have a emacs type of feeling. Supports many languages. Built in compiler.

Cons: If you don't pay, it'll keep reminding you to pay for it. Honestly, it's worth the money for a license though.

Overall: First install on every computer.

Pros: The IDE is lightweight does not require computer with powerful processing speed, it supports various languages especially in web development thus I find it fantastic also its very simple.

Cons: You will be required to install plugins so as to run systems created in other unsupported languages, this requires knowledge to use its command shell.

Overall: The ease of use and how its less bulky it is a winner also has suggestions for some of the languages and learns very fast thus its a go for me.

Pros: beautiful look and feel, nice code folding, highlighting, color-coding, and great find/replace functionality.

Cons: They release new versions fairly quickly. Can take awhile to customize exactly the way you like it.

Overall: Overall, once you get this setup and customized, it's an amazing text editor. Whenever I need to write custom code, or keep track of multiple versions (A/B testing, etc), I am using Sublime.

Pros: It opens very quickly within a second which is very important to me. The software is very very smooth(which actually says that the product is made with perfection, the quality of code is perfect). There are a lot of good plugins to use and the highlighters are good which helps to differentiate your code.

Cons: The only thing which I don't like about this editor is the "themes".

Sublime text is an easy to use, popular text editor that works well with most platforms

Pros: It's super lightweight - compared with a full blown IDE, Sublime is very easy to use and does not slow down my computer whatsoever.

As it is a text editor and not a language specific IDE, you can code HTML in here right along with Rails or Java or Swift. It's versatile, quick, and well thought out. It's also free. (sort of)

Cons: With great other options out there (VS Code, Atom), I find it hard to validate the price for Sublime. Fortunately, you never really *have* to pay - you are just reminded to pay every 10 saves or so if you haven't. Not a big deal, to be honest.

Overall: I like sublime text. It's easy to pick up and get using and while I wish it didn't ask me to pay for it every 10 saves or so, I cannot complain too much. I'd check out VS Code as well, but if you don't like VS Code, then sublime is the best option by far.

Pros: I like this software for coding, it has dark interface which doesn't irritate eyes, has colors for distinguishing different codes.

Cons: Just didn't like that when copying codes (particularly CSS codes) from other resources into Sublime Text, it sometimes shows these codes without colors, just white, don't know the reason, maybe my fault, but its confusing.
