Despite requesting a reduction from 33 seats to 19, I was still being charged for the higher number, and my account continued to reflect the incorrect seat count. Attempts to resolve this through customer support felt like they were going in circles, which led me to write a negative review. However, after posting my initial feedback, the company’s support team proactively reached out to me and made a consistent effort to resolve the issue. They not only corrected the overcharges but also provided a discount, ensuring that everything was adjusted fairly. While the initial experience was frustrating, I appreciate that they ultimately took my concerns seriously and worked hard to make things right. Because of their efforts, I am now satisfied with the outcome. Pros Good research tool for search volume across 12 different search engines, which is very convenient. Cons Being charged for seats I don't need. Customers can manually increase the number of seats needed, up to 55 total. But you can't manually adjust the number of seats down to what you are actually using. If you are not careful, you will THINK you are lowering the number of seats (it will look like you have) but they will charge you for whatever maximum number of seats you had, UNLESS you ask Support to lower it for you. I regularly find this tool to provide keywords that I can't find in e.g. ahrefs.com or Google Ads Keyword Planner. Additionally, keywordtool.io also scrapes keyword suggest ideas YouTube, Bing, Amazon, eBay, and App Store so it is a useful tool when optimizing for these platforms, too. You can also take a selection of keywords, copy paste them to the tool and get the search volumes for these keywords. The keywords can be easily downloaded as an Excel or CSV file, and you automatically get both average monthly search volumes, as well as monthly search volumes for the past 12 months. Keywordtool.io has a limited free version available. The free version of the tool only gives the keywords, not the search volumes, and the number of keywords is limited. Theoretically, you could of course take the list of the keywords and get the search volume estimates from another tool. Cons The paid version needs to be paid for the whole year. It is quite pricey, but for a heavy user, definitely worth it. Pros I have been using Keyword Tool for a quite Long Time, I Mainly use Keyword Research Tool for my YouTube Channel. I Regularly use the this Tool to get Extra or Different Keywords which I Don't get with other Similar Keyword Research Software such as Tubebuddy, VidIQ etc. It suggests a lot of proper and highly Searched Keywords for any Topic of your choice. The Basic version or Free Version only suggests Top Keywords, not the Searched Volume, but still the Top suggested keyword are enough for beginners. As per my Experience for new users the whole analysis system is easily understandable. I Especially like the option to choose the Platform for which you are researching the Keyword either YouTube, Instagram, Twitter etc.. So When it comes for Keyword Research or Search Engine Optimization "Keyword Tool" will be a good choice to Choose. Cons As I mentioned earlier, the search volume for any suggested keyword will be shown in pro version only, it would have been good if at least they could have given the search volume for 1 or 2 top suggested keywords. In free version Limited Searches can be done in a day, I think it is somewhere 10 to 15 searches, where as in some of other similar Softwares, they give you more than 25 searches a day. But if you buy a pro bundle for a year to remove all of these issues It is worth. Keyword Tool does not allow proper cancellations, and their billing system is flawed. Even after proving we haven't used the tool, they refuse to process a refund unless we provide "evidence" of their own system’s failure. This is a clear money-grab tactic, and it should be a warning to anyone considering signing up. ⚠ Attention: Once you subscribe, canceling is NOT straightforward! Proceed with caution, as you might end up being charged long after you thought you canceled. Pros The tool itself is functional, but nothing special compared to other keyword research tools on the market. Cons We canceled our subscription years ago, yet somehow their system "failed" to register it, and they continued to charge us. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they demand proof that we canceled—despite the fact that we have not used the tool at all since then.
