Overall, the experience has been awesome. Incredible ROI, competent team, and they're always trying to get us a great deal along the way.

Pros

The set up was super easy, Attentive's White Glove service was amazing. We were ready to go within just a few days of starting their free trial. The ROI is excellent and was immediately apparent for us. They meet with us regularly to help us optimize our campaigns and always provide excellent advice.

Cons

I feel like there could be more room for in-text customizations - other than just inserting customer name or product name.

### "The support and education can't be beat!"

It was a long(-ish) process in deciding to move from our previous SMS provider to Attentive. We didn't take the matter lightly, as SMS is one of our highest-converting platforms for our business. We made the decision to move to Attentive and haven't looked back!

Pros

SMS companies are everywhere these days. Attentive stands out with their customer service and the efforts they put behind educating their customers and putting on virtual events to help us achieve our goals.

Cons

Analytics and reporting are lacking for sure. You would expect that an online company in 2021 would much more in this area without having to export data or run individual reports.

Amazing.

Pros

The people. Our rep \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is amazing. Her attention to detail; willing to jump in and help along with guidance on overall best practices and strategy is tremendous. She is a valued asset and quickly became a critical extension of the Simon Pearce team. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] was a wonderful sales representative and amazing to work with. Answered all of our questions and made our onboarding seamless.

Cons

The only thing I wish is that it had a two way integration with our ESP Bluecore. Currently only 1 way and we have to do custom dev for 2 way. I want to keep attentive the people have made it but I will have to think hard about having an ESP that does not talk to our SMS. I want to keep both separate as we LOVE Attentive that much; however, not having this does give me pause for next year and I will have to think long and hard before signing another contract with Attentive.

Bronto was sub par in their email game. Of course they were going to be sub par for SMS However, they were considered due to the 2 way integration of information. Ability to create and launch campaigns in 1 place.

Overall I have love using Attentive! From support to the growth of this new market channel.

Pros

Loved the mass sending, automated responses, as well the customer support we get bi-weekly from a manager who knows SMS, the service.

Cons

I think reporting could be better, as well a better way to have one one one conversations with customers. Being able to reach out to them without them having to contact us.

Pros

Easy to use. It has an extremely intuitive interface as well as an accessible customer service team. They are always beta-testing new features and have tons of educational opportunities to hear about the new features and connect with their team.

Cons

There were a few things I thought their tool was lacking initially but their innovation team is constantly cranking out new functionality and connecting with clients for feedback. I have seen several of these new developments launch already and others are in testing phases to launch soon.

We've found that response on SMS are much higher than it is on email. Our open and click rates significantly better. With this we implemented an abandoned cart campaign for SMS in addition to our existing email campaign. SMS has proven to be one of our most viable channels.

Pros

The personal care that they show is what makes Attentive stand out to me. Since Day 1 I've had a dedicated account manager that not only got me started, but also makes sure I am keeping up with enhancements added to the platform and offers suggestions on future campaigns.

Cons

There's not much to dislike. If there was one thing I'd like to see would be the ability to manage my own database of subscribers rather than having to go to their white-glove team to remove subscribers. When we get requests from customers related to CCPA it would be nice to have manual control over our contacts.

We are very happy with Attentive. It's a strong revenue-driving channel for our business and I cannot say enough good things about the customer support team. Our Account Manager is so responsive, he tailors his strategic recommendations to suit the needs of our business, and it's clear that he has our best interest in mind. The team at Attentive is also great at providing us access to BETAs and ensuring we're maximizing our use of the platform.

Pros

Attentive is very user-friendly. It's a turnkey, impactful solution for driving results with SMS marketing. It has completely changed the game for us in terms of lower funnel marketing strategies.

Cons

Since I'm not the primary user of our account, I don't have as much insight into this. At this point, the software suits all of our needs. The one thing we would benefit from is more robust reporting so that we can build on learnings and always be improving our strategies.

Pros

The ease of use and functionality for our growing company and marketing team is key. Attentive is a great partner when it comes to impactful initiatives that help us grow our lists. What is most beneficial is that we have a partner in Attentive and not just a software.

Cons

The only con we have encountered is not always having the capabilities to integrate new services due to web integrations. It would be ideal if these were out of the box integrations but result in significant development on our side.

Pros

They are constantly innovating and always bring the latest technology to the table. They offer great service and always offer opportunities to participate in beta tests.

Cons

Some of their tools require additional costs that are unfortunately not within our budget. We had to forgo using as a result.

Amazing, we had no idea how much money we left on the table by not having an sms program.

Pros

Onboarding process and white glove is top notch. We were guided through by our account manager and were able to have a comprehensive SMS strategy super quickly. Attentive automatically comes with a pop-up modal to collect email AND sms which is not something many other SMS providers have. It’s a super simple sign up process for our customers. They start you off with a shared shortcode (this is phasing out) but most other sms platforms we explored did longcode and didn’t offer any solutions to get quickly set up with shortcode. Recently, they just added new segmentation features! Exciting to see everything on their product roadmap.

Cons

I think there could be some improvements to analytics. They do have dashboards that give you some high level stats. Generally, I end up exporting all my reports anyway and that’s what I find myself doing here as well.

Pros

I liked the performance of the software, but despite the great performance the pricing structure for month-to-month plans as well as long-term agreements didn't make sense.

Cons

I disliked the requirement to sign long-term agreements to get decent pricing. Additionally, some of the sales presentations had carrier charges listed in a small, gray text that made it more difficult to see the overall cost per SMS you were getting.

### "You won't regret it"

Very positive. The sales person was a little... persistent for my personal tastes, but very friendly and professional - and you know what? It worked for her so I can't even judge. They've done great things for our email sign ups, and while SMS has been slower to grow, we see good returns and that growth is continuous.

Pros

The Attentive team are... well... Attentive! They stayed lock-step with me every step of onboarding, and have been extremely quick and helpful if I run into questions. The platform works well and we've seen good returns. I was especially pleased that they haven't charged us their minimum charge, only for what messages we've sent. (But don't tell them that... ;) ) OH! I forgot the best part! The sign up units work like a hot damn. We saw massive amounts of sign ups in comparison to our old system. Very happy.

Cons

Once or twice I've run into issues with not being able to delete campaigns. I also dislike the way they set up the dropdown for choosing a send time... very small complaints!

We've seen conversions happen quicker making ROI increase. The tools Attentive provides us with make marketing via SMS easy and viable.

Pros

Integration with our ESP was flawless and the reports you have access to quickly help you audit what is and possibly is not working so you can adjust quickly. Campaigns, Journey, and Sign Up Forms are easy to create and the UX of each step creates instant fail-safes. I'd say the best parts are the communication with the Whiteglove service & our Account Manager; it's quick and business casual so you can get the answers & fixes you need quickly (even past working hours). I love that they schedule calls with their customers so their Product Team can get a real insight into what we would like for platform updates that would help with any areas we get stuck in. What possibly tops the quick communication would be the legality fail-safes involved. Attentive has you covered with all the FCC/FTC guidelines and you can tell the partnerships they have with the Carriers are positive. The best SMS Marketing program I've ever used.

Cons

I can't say I do. They are constantly upgrading features.

Pros

Attentive is very easy to get setup on whether you are switching over from another SMS platform or are new to SMS. The Attentive team is there to support you every step of the way. The website pop ups and other features are very effective at growing an SMS list, and the platform is very user-friendly.

Cons

Lots of room for improvement on the reporting and analytics side, though I know this is something that they are working on, so will be excited to see it roll out.

My overall experience with Attentive is positive. They give us so much support as an agency partner.

Pros

I love our dedicated account manager \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]! She's been so helpful in managing all of our clients' unique needs. We're constantly improving our revenue numbers and engagement rates and she's a big part of that. Attentive is also very easy to use and intuitive. I can make quick changes to campaigns, journeys and pop-ups. I also love how they visualize A/B tests and journeys.

Cons

I'm unable to see billing settings for our clients which is crucial to know so we can accurately report on total marketing spend which includes software costs. I would also like to be able to pull reports within the platform and not be directed to download an Excel spreadsheet.

Love how easy it is to use the technology. Out of all the tech vendors we use daily, Attentive is by far the most engaged with the client in ensuring that we are satisfied but also constantly looking to be at the forefront of SMS. Working at an agency for many years, we always said to wow the client. Doesn't matter who you interact with \[white glove\] to your sales rep, everyone puts the client first. One Account Manager that I've worked with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been an absolute rockstar and truly feel like he's been a partner to our business. Q1 has been our best quarter yet because of the SMS strategies he recommended. This shows what type of people the company hires. I always believe you're only as great as your team. Love that they also are continuously improving the tech.

Cons

Wouldn't call it a con as I know the team is working on this, the easeability to create a landing page.

Working with the Attentive team and platform has been a really positive experience so far.

Pros

We have been super impressed with the ease of use and effectiveness of Attentive to help us get started and grow our SMS marketing strategy. The Attentive team has been an amazing resource for us as well - always making sure we are maximizing our SMS campaigns and automations in a compliant manner, and we're excited to see where this platform can take us.

Cons

Right now, the only complaint I have is with analytics, especially with A/B testing. It would be nice to see campaign results during the testing period as opposed to the campaign overall.

In addition to an outstanding platform, I have seen Attentive evolve over the 9 months we have used them. They have also been great at building our lists for both SMS and email.

Cons

The analytics are slowly improving. I'd like to see them integrated with other BI platforms.
