Office Manager Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "An Essential Tool for Our Day-to-Day Site Management" August 26, 2026 5.0 Our overall experience with BORIS has been extremely positive. It has become an integral part of our day-to-day operations and is a system that we rely on every day to help manage our sites and projects. It has helped us streamline our processes, improve communication between the office and site teams and maintain consistent, organised records across our projects. Being able to manage so much information through one central system saves a considerable amount of time and makes overseeing multiple sites much simpler. The system continues to be a valuable tool for our business and we would definitely recommend BORIS to other companies looking to improve the way they manage their sites, projects and information. Pros BORIS is a great tool that we use every day and has made managing our sites much easier. Having everything in one place allows both our office and site teams to access and update information quickly, which has significantly reduced paperwork and made our processes more efficient. It is particularly useful for managing multiple live projects at the same time, keeping accurate site records and giving us much better visibility of the works being carried out. The system is flexible and can be adapted to suit the way our business operates, which is a huge benefit. Cons There are a lot of features and customisation options within BORIS, so it can take some time initially to understand everything the system is capable of. Boris has transformed our operations and our team could not go back to paper processes. We have made all aspects of our quality and recording more efficient. Our site teams love it because they don’t have to call to the office anymore! Pros BORIS offers the most comprehensive pricing module for the fire stopping and fire door industry. Salesman who promised several ( unavailable) features refused to call me. When I asked for a refund my email was ignored . We are now with Bolster . Far superior system . Pros I honestly can’t find anything positive to write about our treatment. We are a small new company and subscribed to Boris lite . We were promised the world. Most of the features promised were not forthcoming Cons Whilst the Boris team tried to assist the salesman was emailed several times. The Boris lite system does not work . We never completed one task successfully . Once a survey, inspection or job has been completed, reports can be generated and downloaded quickly in a professional format and sent directly to our clients. This has made a significant difference to the way we communicate progress and provide evidence of works completed. It also gives our clients a much clearer and more transparent view of what has been undertaken. Cons Nothing to dislike. BORIS can create any forms and functions required to manage your day to day operations. This has allowed us to get prompt reports back to our clients. Pros The system is really easy to use and provides the necessary link with our onsite teams. The thing that sets Boris out from the rest is its excellent customer service when you require additional support. Pros A clean user interface that works and is good value for money. The best thing about the software is it just works and is not overly complicated. Cons At this moment in time I have found no issues that have negatively effected my experience with Boris. Pros My favourite thing about BORIS software is that it has user configurable fields and effective in financial analysis. Cons The software has made asset tracking easier and convinient. Fire Safety Facilities Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Adaptable and easy to use" January 22, 2024 5.0 The helpdesk is very supportive & helps with any issues I may have but also shows me how to do things myself. I now have a library of prompts for when I need to do something on Boris that I haven't done for a while. Pros I bought the software to carry out fire risk assessments and fire door surveys but it does so much more. I now complete Health & Safety, Vehicle and Ladder Audits, New Starter forms, PPE Checks, Expense Forms, and Toolbox Talks and have added training videos & staff certification. Cons As with any new software, the first month of using the app is a learning curve & you need to persevere to appreciate the benefits that it can bring. I no longer have to spend time typing up my notes, or resizing photos from an assessment as I do everything directly into the app so the assessment is finished when I leave the site. Reason for choosing BORIS SiteWorks - I customised the app to make it do what I needed it to do to collate the photographs for my fire risk assessments but I then had 2 documents for one assessment. For our teams on site they have everything they need including digital RAMS, interactive floor plans, scheduled works and much more. Boris has helped with the growth of the business, this system allows us to easily monitor each project efficiently. The most important role of any reporting software is providing our clients with the necessary information in a transparent and efficient manner, with Boris Software our clients can receive live updates to monitor progression on site in real time. Cons Due to the size of the reports that we are sometimes required to work on, the Boris software on both mobile and desktop can be slow to load.
