Pros There are a lot of social media content management tools out there and most do what they do very well, but OneUp leverages a gap in functionality - that of chained tweets - and provides an elegant and easy to use solution. Cons It's not the most visually attractive tool on the market, but don't let the simple facade fool you. Owner Media Production Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "OneUp for LinkedIn/Instagram" April 2, 2021 5.0 Time is all I have when it comes to servicing clients and OneUp allows me to efficiently schedule my postings and not have to worry about if I posted content at an appropriate times during the week. I love that I can hammer out my posts on the weekend and then drop them into the scheduler and trust that everything goes like clockwork. Pros OneUp makes posting to Linked-In for me super easy and allows me to schedule my posts accordingly, so I don't have to keep visiting the platform. The interface is very intuitive and all web based. I love the fact that I can proof a lot easier without the fear of publishing by accident and attach my photo to post as well. This and the fact that I can schedule my Instagram posts simultaneously to reflect on a different platform is very powerful and saves a lot of time as posting to Instagram via my phone for me is awkward. Cons At this point in my OneUp experience, I have no issues or criticisms. Their prompt replies to all my questions is testimony to their commitment to the overall experience of their customers. Some platforms (for example LinkedIn) doesn't offer scheduling "inhouse" and OneUp helps with that, freeing up my time to manage other socials or work on other things. So far I really like it and I think we'll be using it for most of our social media content creation/scheduling/planning. Pros The best part I think is the diversity of channels linked to the software, so one has the option to keep all their socials planning in one place. It's also very easy to use and learn! Cons I would like to be able to post articles on LinkedIn, instead of posts, which I haven't found a way to do yet (but perhaps I haven't looked har enough, I'm still pretty new) Reason for choosing OneUp Because it had the option to manage LinkedIn pages as well as personal profiles, meaning I can use it to schedule content for a personal profile. This feature wasn't offered in other products I was looking at, which is the ultimate reason for why I chose it. The customer service has been above and beyond, and our questions have always been answered within 24 hours. OneUp is far cheaper than any alternative that we have used before, yet we are able to achieve more of what we need on OneUp (such as scheduling posts to Google My Business). We use the app daily and could not be more pleased with how it has gone. Cons Whenever we run into any issues or concerns, we contact the team at OneUp who are extremely helpful and attentive with solving this for us. It would be great in the future to perhaps see a streams of current posts on your social media accounts, but we are more than happy with what is offered currently. Pros OneUp does exactly what it says, easily and without frills. I wanted to schedule posts (primarily Twitter and Google My Business) that would automatically repost at a given interval. This is easily the best way to do this! Connecting accounts was super easy, managing the account is super easy, and posting is a breeze. Cons The icons are a little clunky, and I wish I could just drag an image onto my post instead of selecting my hard drive first, but that's about it. I also wish for a plan between 10 and 30 accounts ... I have 16 and I have had to post LinkedIn and Facebook natively like a caveman. But now I use it for all our channels. It's the best discovery for 2020 that makes social distribution a lot easier to manage. Pros I come from Buffer and Hootsuite and I know how much time it takes to collect text, URLs, images and then select the channels for distribution. OneUp works so smoothly in Chrome, with everything you need on one screen. It's a time saver. Cons One thing to be improved; there are no images shown in the automated RSS feed posts. Scheduling content and connecting accounts was really really easy, even with numerous accounts. The system simplifies everything. The customer support was also awesome, I had an issue with my billing and they fixed it really quickly. Cons The interface can be a little confusing at first, but once you find where everything is, it comes naturally. May 7, 2021 5.0 We are currently on the Growth Plan as it offers 30 Social Accounts which suites our needs perfectly right now. We use OneUp for GMB, LI (personal and biz profiles) and Twitter accounts for our clients, our businesses and personal LI profiles. Pros Our top 6 Pros: 1) The GMB post scheduling is a tremendous time saver. 2) An invitation into a private GMB forum and can learn tips and tricks from others in the community. 3) Videos post as videos directly on the social platform. 4) The bitly integration allows you to automatically shorten links. 5) Easily customize your repeat post content and duration far in the future. This is perfect for that green content you want to share from time to time. 6) Very responsive chat support Cons My only con is you cannot post video to a few of the platforms. If you're looking for a simple way to manage and schedule social media then try OneUp. If you're looking for an advanced social media listening and scheduling platform then maybe look elsewhere. However, OneUp is definitely something to still keep your eye on as they continue to develop it. Pros The ability to create post categories is really nice and something you don't see much of in other similar apps. It makes it very easy to schedule posts or bulk upload posts without the need to select specific days and times each time you create a post. The best thing by far though, is the ability to schedule Twitter threads. A fantastic feature! Cons While scheduled Twitter threads can include an image, it's not yet possible to do with a video. It's very much a social media scheduling platform, so don't expect social listening features such as those found in Hootsuite. I spent a lot of time comparing it! I did not need all of the features some of the higher end managers had nor did I want to pay for them. If you are looking into finding a social media manager this is a great place to start. I enjoyed my free trial with OneUp but I did decide to go in a different direction. Even though I am not going to use OneUp I will definitely recommend it to others. I feel that this could meet the needs of a lot of content creators. The customer support is really great! Any question I had was either answered right away or within an hour or two. I can tell this team really cares about its users. Give the free trial a try! You will be happy you did. Cons OneUp does not support multiple images in a post. This was a deal-breaker for me, but I am glad to hear that they are working to make this a possibility. I also really like the very personable way in which the founder communicates. Pros Say I've just agreed to speak at a conference. I can write a post saying "I am speaking at X later today and hope to meet some of you there" and then schedule the post for publication on the day of the conference, with a link to the event website. Job done. You can also schedule recurring posts - so an accountant could use it to remind people to get their tax returns in once a year; a travelling salesperson could advise clients that he or she will be in a particular town once a month; and a home hairdresser could promote him or herself every week. Cons I wish the composition box was a bit bigger. It's four lines deep and fine for Twitter and Facebook. It's also the same size as the box in LinkedIn. However, the latter allows up to 1300 characters so it can get a bit fiddly. I prefer to schedule the post and then edit it, which opens up a much better writing environment (far better than anything you could get from LI or competitor products like Hootsuite).
