After we got though that it seems to be much smoother and going great now Pros I love that the cost is low it’s a cost per email not a monthly fee. It can also handle small to massive volumes of emails without any performance issues. Cons Amazon SES is not beginner-friendly. You need to set up things like domain verification, DKIM, SPF records, and IAM permissions. It also blends well with the other Amazon services we use. Cons It takes a significant amount of time to set up some of the features for Amazon SES. There are more time-efficient email sending services than Amazon SES. Pros Really the frontrunner for email service, it’s effective and affordable, there are some issues with it as far as user error, and if you are not great with technology or computer systems, you can have some work stop issues that you may not be able to diagnose. Cons Easy to get your emails sent to spam by recipients, also had an issue with email bounce backs - if your bounce back/ spam rate gets too high AWS will stop you from being able to sent emails.
