Its amazing that we can send up to 50,000 emails per month for free when other services like Sendgrid would only offer about 100 for free per day

Pros

SES offers so many emails on a free plan that we've never gone beyond the Free tier. Once the verification have been done, everything else is so easy to use.

Cons

Configuration is a pain for domains. It takes long for domains to be verified after adding the required TXT records in the DNS and even after the domain has been verified, you have to apply for the usage limits to be removed which also takes time.

Pros

I liked that the layout was as simple as possible, given the plethora of needed areas in the software. The speed at which items load is also nice.

Cons

The flow for using SES to set up domains can be confusing, and time-consuming. Some sort of a flow that takes you from purchasing a domain to verifying and creating hosted zones would be extremely helpful, and more efficient.

Turney service to reliably deliver emails to users of all types. There are many ways to integrate the tool into you existing software. We've had consistent, reliable results wherever we've implemented it.

Cons

It's absolutely necessary but the fuss of domain verification and probationary periods can be tiresome.

Sending email with SES is good, reliable and cheap.

Pros

\- Once set up the process to send emails in fairly easy. - The console provided by amazon and metadata about the emails is also very helpful. - Has good email deliverability. - The costing is really cheap for indian users.

Cons

\- The set up part takes a little bit of time. However is worth it. - Handling bounces and complaints could have been better. Currently one has to configure Amazon SNS for bounces and complaints.

Pros

The pros are that there are a number of people that one can contact if they run into any issues. I appreciated the system that is built within AMAZON. If one person can not assist they have an immediate person to contact

Cons

The cons - that not just one person can assist you, if you get the wrong person you will be bouncing around till you do.

I really like Amazon SES as it helps you configure the email sending. It's easy to adapt to your project. The documentation its excellent so you can manage this in a short amount of time.

Cons

I can complain a little with the pricing, but it's not a big difference between the competitors. So it's more your choice which option you want to use.

Like I said before, the system is not so easy to use for a non tech savvy person, setup is next to daunting, and requires a lot of study to be able to be used successfully (IMO)

Pros

It's very affordable to nearly anyone at any size and the deliverability of emails is top notch (very high).

Cons

It's not very easy to use for a non tech savvy person.

Pros

We have used Amazon SES to send out our e-mail campaigns through our Wordpress website and the outcome was great! (Large quantities of e-mails sent at once after we demanded the customer service to increase our limit).

Cons

It can be a bit hard for newbies to set-up the service and start sending e-mails. Thanks God, good tutorials found with the help of Google!
