We received more reviews in a month than we did in a whole year with our previous provider. We used their install team and it was an awesome experience! Cons No big complaints besides that it seems like we should be further up in google rankings than we are organically. They walk you through everything. Very responsive. Pros This system engages with customers, encouraging to write product and merchant reviews. This keeps customers involved with the site, improving future orders. Cons Not the easiest to integrate. Requires some custom CSS to display properly. Smooth onboarding, clear timeline, easy to use software for the business and our customers. Cons Would be great if software could catch the review intent. Their online support is very good. Cons I can't figure out how to post the reviews to our company Facebook page. When I try to do it, it only posts to my personal Facebook account. I contacted their online support & was told that they don't even know how to do it & to contact Facebook or do research on how to do it. Cons Very difficult for customers to update their review. They ask, but are unable to do so easily or at all. Customers may not respond since it's coming from a third party, and not us, so looks like spam. I am not sure if Google accepts Shopper Approved reviews, so at this time, feel I am overpaying. Cons Overpriced. The software does not notify you when a customer upload images and when they do, most images are cut from the software and impossible to use. It is not easy, mostly because Google makes it difficult. I think Shopper Approved will make the best of Google's recent rule changes, but for now, the tool (and likely any competitors) simply isn't in full sync with Google. Pros I like that we can allocate a certain percentage of review requests to other 3rd party, "open review" platforms, to diversify our review portfolio. Cons The widgets available to display reviews on site are ugly. Apparently they are releasing better ones later in 2021, but I haven't seen them yet. Review Source MM Michael M.
