"LoopEdge option for connection with industrial equipment"
Pros: The device offered by Litmus called Loopedge is an excellent product since it is an easy-to-use tool, it has various types of communication, which can be used to connect industrial equipment. you can program a vizualizacion very fast and simple. it is also easy to link with other existing applications and excellent support.
Cons: sometimes it does not allow to save the changes made in the Flows

Overall: In my experience is a good tool to integrate different devices and collect data to get a good data analysis
Pros: About connectivity i think is a great tool because has the possibility to add several devices of different brands(Siemens, Honeywell, Omron, etc... ) I think is very easy the way to add each device. Condition to different db instances, it make from this a big IIoT tool.
Cons: Yo need enough experience in the use of develop languages(json, jscrip, html, etc..) You need training about Node Red for example to use flows
"Good Edge Device"
Overall: The flexible programming via NodeRed is very helpful if one wants to process and Display data. In one Project, we had to implement a lot of logic. There, we observed that the user interface lags a lot. Several times we made the experience that the flows Service hangs and has to be restarted from the console. We use the console rather often, which is necessary but not really intended by the Vendor. Besides this, it is very convenient to add new data channels and to quickly provide the data to Operators on a Dashboard.
Pros: It is very easy to connect a PLC and to get data from it
Cons: Connection to database requires explicit insert Statements. Other Vendors (e.g. Inductive automation) offer db Connection that can be established without db programming knowledge
