It has helped to make things run more smoothly and efficiently. Pros Overall it is a good software to use and it can be modified as needed with the help of the support staff at Intellitrans. Cons There were some glitches upfront that we had to deal with, in which the software stop interacting with our systems. Overall seems to be an easy fix. The dockmaster feature talks with our system at the yards instantaneously and makes it so easy to use. Cons There are just a few quirks to the system, one of the only things I can attest to is when it defaults to a "FLOAT" door and our yards can't scale the truck in. It only takes a minute to fix but still a thorn in the side! So far we have 4 mills/DC using Dock Master and everyone seems to enjoy the tool Pros No need to have the system on premise. Can easily interface our own system with Intellitrans tools by either using their proprietary interface or through EDI. Ease of use by our internal customers. Facilitate communication with our carriers. Cons Before configuring the tool and have it integrated in CarrierPoint it needs to be "initiated" by Intellitrans support team. Once done you can customize the doors and dock by yourself. Reasons for choosing DockMaster We were already pleased with CarrierPoint and DockMaster is totally integrated with it. So a single interface to manage load tendering and pickup appointments.
