### "Easy way to file taxes"

We had a good experience in general, it was great value for price.

Pros

We used this software last year to file our taxes and the process was quick and fairly easy to follow.

Cons

We had some moments where we wanted some support, but it would have been more expensive, so we pretty much just googled some stuff.

We will definitely use this going forward for our taxes. Very simple and reasonably priced!

Pros

I liked that because we use Intuit Quickbooks Online, we could import all of our information with just a click and a few questions. We had previously been doing taxes the old fashioned way and implemented this last year. 100x easier and I was more confident in our return with TurboTax's guarantees.

Cons

It was a little confusing when we first started what we needed to include or where certain expenses should go but the help pages were really informative.

I used it for many years and worked well. I recently decided to get an accountant with more complicated tax situation for business.

Pros

I liked that it was fairly easy to use, and believe it was fairly accurate for taxes. It seems to work really well with less complicated tax situations.

Cons

The more complicated my taxes became, the more difficult it was to use. The customer service was via finding an answer on the internet. And the were times it was released before tax updates were made, so it would have to update and things might change.

Pros

I worried I wouldn't know how to do my own taxes anymore and that I would have to pay an outrageous amount just to do my due diligence with the IRS. My writing is starting to grow from a hobby to a bonafide business, and I forayed into claiming actual income this year. This software made it doable! I was able to add up and log expenses and receipts and square payments and Amazon royalty statements and publishing advances that came in as 1099's... so much diverse income and expense information. They made it easy by following prompts. And I love the e-file options and all that goes with regular Turbotax software.

Cons

I wish there were a low-income version--it kills me to have to spend any money at this stage in my baby business. But It's better than IRS issues.

Overall if provides a huge cost savings every year over the same tasks performed by tax professionals.

Pros

TurboTax Business allows you to do many tax tasks that we used to have our CPA do at $150 an hour. You can try different scenarios and see which one helps you the most. Allows you to file tax returns electronicly and gives status emails on the submissions.

Cons

Occasionally there are somewhat confusing answers in the Help Section and you have to reach out just to be sure you are performing things correctly.

This product takes a bit of time to set up the first year but the years following it are easier because it self populates a lot of items for you.

Pros

TurboTax walks in step by step through income and helps you to maximize your deductions. It helped me to find deduction I didn't know existed. The e-file feature is great.

Cons

There seem to be a lot of updates but I know most of that has to do with the IRS and tax laws that are ever changing.

I chose this product because of the price and being easy to use.

Good, when I don't need to reach out for any assistance.

Pros

I have been purchasing and using this software since as long as I can remember. It's very easy to use and the price is fairly reasonable.

Cons

I dont like that you are limited to filing 5 returns from one computer. And the filing pricing appears to be going up. In the past, you would get 5 free e-files. Now only the federal e-file portion is free, and the states are $19.95. The customer service is hit or miss, depending when you can.

Over experiance reasonably good until this year (2022 taxes) when TurboTax really fouled by, 6 days before reporting deadline, still not having the ability to report state business forms to New York State. We might look for a different platform for this year.

Pros

Step by step entry; ease data entry. Ability to easily print out separate forms.

Cons

Unable to report business forms to New York State, which the state requires. This is a major screw up by TurboTax

Great experience, I like the product

Pros

I been using this product for 2 years and I do like the fact that is easy to use as long as you just read every line and calculate correct you can do know wrong. It is sent directly over to IRS so, you don't have to worry about sending it in the mail.

Cons

It is expensive for something that you have to do once a year only. There much cheaper tax products for business like TaxAct and TaxSlayer .

Pros

TurboTax Business saves so much time and money for our small business income tax filing. This is a must use to keep all important business records in one spot!

Cons

There are so many options and functions available it does take a little bit of time to figure out. I know within our small side business we don't use this program to it's fullest capabilities.

It's the easiest and most affordable way for me to file as a small business. Sometimes I turn to Google for research if I'm unsure about something.

Pros

TurboTax is so easy to use. It makes filing my business taxes each year a breeze. If I have my documents organized, it takes about an hour to complete.

Cons

I'm not sure their staff is the most educated. I talked to a TurboTax CPA (purchased with my plan), about some questions before filing and I didn't trust his answers.

It fits in my budget.

Pros

I'm a HUGE fan of TurboTax because it makes filing for our business so much easier! My husband and I are entrepreneurs and it helps ease our minds knowing we didn't miss or leave anything out when it comes to taxes!

Cons

I really have no complaints about TurboTax. I think the pricing is fair and it helps make filing taxes easy so it is well worth it!

this software walks you through everything. it asks you questions and you answer and its just a plug and play. you plug in the numbers and boom its off

I feel it does everything pretty well but I would say when you take a picture of your w2, pay attention to that because the numbers arent always right

I've had accurate returns and a fairly seamless process. Can't ask for too much more.

Pros

Honestly, I love TurboTax. It walks me through each section, makes suggestions, and it's easy for me to go in and make revisions if I realize I've made an error.

Cons

For some reason, sometimes I'll go through the entire questionnaire, answer every question, fill out every box, and wind up with an "error that needs to be resolved" in the check the return stage. How? Why?

Pros

The ease of use. It is so simple, breaks everything down, eliminates any confusion you may have with taxes. It's far less complicated to do taxes using TurboTax.

Cons

Nothing! TurboTax changed doing taxes for me for the best. It's easy to do, pick up where I left off, pay for everything, and get my funds. This year, I got my stimulus check easily because I had used TurboTax to file.

Pros

It allows me to get my taxes done. It uses direct questions and to help fill out tax forms.

Cons

Every year there is some soft ware glitch that costs me time or money and there is never a person to speak to when their interaction is needed to get something resolved.

Reason for choosing TurboTax Business

Thinking that using other Intuit products with my Quick books software would make life easier.

Pros

Integration with spreadsheet, csv, and also Intuit Quicken. Also integrates well with Mint.

Cons

Late updates, sometimes after tax-filing season, are a bit curious and frustrating.
