Most of our clients don't require difficult tax returns, therefore, this is the best software to use for our small business.

Pros

Turbo Tax Business is easy to use for our small accounting business. The updates keep us current with the laws, and the ease in producing a clean return for our clients is always 100%.

Cons

We never have a problem with this software, and if there is, we can call customer service and get assistance without hardly waiting on hold.

TurboTax business allows the end user to go beyond simple taxes to more complicated tax problems. The ease of searching out answers to complicated questions makes this software invaluable.

Pros

The step by step process allows even the first time user to understand and do their taxes expertly.

Cons

It is not easy to import information from outside of the intuit software. I have not been able to import most W2s and info for deductions leading to manual entry of the data.

Great program. Don't mess around with any other program. I'll stick with TurboTax for personal and business purposes.

Pros

I used this program for personal use only. I find TurboTax to be one of the best tax programs on the market. I helped a friend do their taxes for their small business. TurboTax has everything we needed to do them on our own. It has so many places where we could get our questions asked and it was so easy to use.

Cons

I can't think of anything that I didn't like about the program. It was easy to use, has lots of support areas, and even talking to customer service was easy.

We saved a lot of money using the software. They explain everything clearly so you understand what is being asked.

Pros

We can do our business taxes without an accountant and save a fortune! It's super easy and understandable, even for a creative person.

Cons

It would be great if you didn't have to update the app every time you use it. Also it finds errors, but doesn't say why they are errors so it's a puzzle figuring those out at the very end.

I have used Turbotax for a few years and every year it seems more user friendly and easier to navigate.

Pros

I love doing things myself to save some money. I love that I can import all my information from Quickbooks so so easily, and then just enter a few other personal things. I do my taxes in about an hour.

Cons

There are a lot of extra things that don't apply, but that's not a huge issue to navigate past. It lets you know what is important.

When all you have is a W2 doing your own taxes is a piece of cake. But one you decide to switch things up and become self-employed, taxes go to a whole new level of complicated. I know I would've missed out on a ton of money if it weren't for turbo tax and honestly I probably would've been audited at some point too.

Pros

The help it gave me in figuring out how to get the most out of being self employed.

Cons

It was more expensive than I would've liked but it did pay for itself and then some.

Pros

I use turbo tax every year and it saves me a lot of time from having to go to a tax person! Makes my life easier and I will continue to use them, At first yeah I had my doubts but hearing from a friend that he uses it got me on board.

Cons

No cons here about turbo tax but maybe one which is the constant bombardment of ads to upgrade. Which I understand why but still can be annoying. Like uninstalling antivirus

This is an affordable product I used for years for our taxes until our business got too complicated for me to handle it. It was pretty simple to use and the guidance was excellent.

Pros

I like the fact it takes you through the tax paperwork step by step. You can also skip the harder sections where you may need to find paperwork, and go back to sections when you discover an error.

Cons

Sometimes, the E-file is hard to do and it cost more money to use it.

Pros

It doesn't get any easier than Turbo Tax in my opinion. I've used the program every year to file my taxes for the past four years. Last year, I formed my own LLC and feared a very complicated filing process, but Turbo Tax made it a breeze.

Cons

I wish it wasn't as expensive, but it is worth the cost all things considered.

Pros

I have used TurboTax business and home for many years and I love how the software asks you questions in order to guide you through the process of doing your taxes.

Cons

There were a few questions I didn't know the answer to that I had to look up. The software has links to their online resources to help.

This seems to be by far the best software to complete taxes quickly and simply. The basic features are very simple and user friendly

Cons

I found that when trying to use more advanced features or trying to input more complicated information that this software becomes more difficult. Great with simple returns. Not as great when returns are more complicated.

I can't imagine any other way of doing my taxes for my business. It is simple and easy to use and it guides you through the whole process.

Cons

There really isn't things that I like least about it. It seems like every year they are making good updates and changes to improve the system.

Pros

Makes filing your taxes, even with a small business, so easy! We've used other versions of TurboTax as well and have never been disappointed.

Cons

The support is hit or miss... when we have hit a bump in the road, it takes quite a bit of phone help to solve it.

We use it every year to file our Tax return. Since TurboTax can prefill all the company information based on our previous TurboTax returns, it's really a time saver.

Pros

1\. Very easy to use 2. Clear instructions on data input 3. automated tax calculation and e-file 4. Capable of dealing with most business activities

Cons

The price is a little to high for us considering we don't use all of it's capable features.

I've been using it for years, and it's typically correct. I've only had one year when I was told I took an incorrect deduction.

Pros

I like that most portions guide me through with explanations so that I know I am entering it correctly even though I'm not a tax professional. I like that I can go through each part, or pick what I work on. I like that it reviews everything for errors before submitting for me.

Cons

There are times when I get stuck on a question and there aren't enough explanations, or there is an error message that doesn't make sense.
