Overall, great software to file your business and personal taxes.

Pros

Easiest way to file self-employed business taxes along with my W-2 jobs. Guides you through all the boxes to fill in.

Cons

Sometimes some of the sections can be confusing. You can’t talk to anyone live unless you pay extra. You need to read forums to figure it out yourself.

I like to be in control of my taxes, and this is a great solution. It installs easily & walks me through every step of filing taxes for my company. It has great customer service as well.

Cons

There are a few questions asked that I don't completely understand, and they could have a more robust tutorial in those situations.

I find this to be a very useful and organized way to be sure I am getting all of the deductions I am due for my business. It has the most up to date rules and suggestions for acceptable expenses. I couldn’t do this without the help of this software.

Pros

Super helpful step by step for all Factors that contribute to a home office deduction. Easy list of all expenses to consider. Quick reference within the software with answers to common questions.

Cons

It’s sometimes a bit awkward to find specifics on forms at the end of doing taxes. There is a great review that indicates errors before submission. I have found locating them to require a few steps more than seems necessary.

We will continue to save our money by doing our own taxes through using TurboTax software. This is more thorough than an accountant at times!

Pros

I own two small businesses that are very different from each other. In the 10 + years of business, we've used TurboTax Business several years now in preparing taxes. I love how TurboTax takes you step by step and is very intuitive to information needed on the users end.

Cons

We often deal with multi states and have had to call customer support to help us answer the correct questions. There is a bit of a wait time to reach a customer support agent.

Pros

Cons

The constant activation's this year is a little annoying

TurboTax Business helped solve my yearly taxes for my business. I was able to save time and stress with TurboTax Business. With TurboTax Business you don't need to know much about taxes as TurboTax does it all, with experts on hand for any questions or concerns. This allowed me to complete my taxes easily and stress free. Not mention it's all done online!

Pros

The features that are most impactful is electronic filing and personalized tax tips with Smart Insights. TurboTax Business is easy to use and if your a first time business owner it is a completely trouble free integration.

Cons

Since I've used TurboTax Business for the first time in the 2020 tax year I do not feel that any features are missing or could be improved. Overall, using TurboTax Business was uncomplicated and extremely easy to integrate into my existing business.

Overall, i have no problems with turbotax and it has made my live easier so kudos!

Pros

People used to file taxes via paper and mail. That is inconvenient, because with turbo tax I can do my taxes electronically and this is much more faster.

Cons

I don't think there is anything I hate about turbotax but i heard that lawsuits were filed against the company for misinforming their client about free filing programs.

I've never had a problem using TurboTax it's always been easy for me even when I wasn't self-employed and it still is.

Pros

I love how easy this service is to use when I'm filing my taxes. I used it but even before I was so employed with my own business and now that I have my own business it's still not expensive to file my taxes and get what I know I am due

Cons

There's nothing that really needs to be improved if you have a problem you can always contact customer support and they are very helpful

Pros

If you run a business, and if it is still a start-up phase, you probably don't want to spend a lot of money for your income tax return preparations. However, regardless of the size of your business, you NEED to file your return, and this program will help you guide through complicated tax codes. You don't have to be a tax expert to prepare your return.

Cons

You will still need to have some kind of understandings of tax codes. Sometimes, input can be tricky.. But, overall, very good quality of product!

Pros

Ease of use in TurboTax is incredible. I am a huge proponent of the personal model, and would highly recommend anyone using the business model also. It is simple and cleanly designed for easy input of data.

Cons

Sometimes it "coaches" a little too much, but this is probably not a problem for most!

when it used to work, the best feature was importing last year's data

Cons

Once start the program and then save it, you cannot access it "corrupt file, unable to open". Also you cannot import previous year, gives same corrupt file error

Cons

I have used multiple solutions for taxes. I would say other software can be used that is a little cheaper
