It is our system for our residential construction company. It is user friendly and sub friendly. Pros The user friendly setup is great. The sales team can pick options easily and the office can send out purchase orders tied to sales fast and efficiently. Also upload documents for subs easily. Cons Some updates are not good and affect the system in a negatively way and it takes a few days for constellation to get the patch uploaded. The way options have to be setup some times not friendly for more choices. They also have an annual conference and online classes and a large user group that gets together on line Pros This system can run a 10 homes a year builder to a 10,000 home a year builder. The best part is it is all integrated, meaning Newstar develops and maintains all the pieces from accounting to purchasing to sales to construction schedules. Support is amazing and we get real people on line to solve our issues (mostly user error!) .We also love it is on the internet so we can operate anywhere, even on vacation. Cons Cost is high but we save that much and more each year. I cannot see how any home builder can operate without a system like this. We've been with them for many years and they've been awesome to work with. Pros 1\. The system is easy to navigate. 2. The company does a great job with collaboration when I've had ideas for enhancements. 3. From an accounting perspective, the functionality within the system is very thorough and efficient. Cons There really isn't anything too note worthy, I would say the user experience can sometimes be a challenge. Some screens we work within don't allow for full screen display which would make things easier for us.
