Cons

the interface or user experience should be able to have more simplistic, more customizable options, the more complex the screen becomes slower the tool.

I started using Hyperion the first time as a new employee. I was given minimal training but was able to perform my task with no problem. All tables are functional and efficient to use. My reports generate fast and are easy to be reviewed and approved.

Pros

Detailed reports are easily saved for future running.

Cons

Sometimes report doesn't print correctly.

Also, It was easy to build integration using Hyperion scripts to integrate with external business reporting systems and executive dashboards.

I used Hyperion FDM and found it to be mostly useful and user friendly but it seemed to take massive resources in order to not run very slow during monthend.

I use to print reports and look up data details. Pretty easy to use and learn. It's not highly intuitive on things it can do, hard to just "play" with it and learn it. You really need training to get the best out of it.
