The SM guys really know what they're doing. They are beyond helpful. Pros Extremely easy to use and new user friendly, superior customer service, customizable to your own states regulations and tariffs, integrations with MailChimp/QuickBooks, storage software tracking, customer service tracking, accounting/closing out jobs with ease. Cons There are genuinely no negative things about this software. It is mainly just the fact that it is constantly adapting for the better. This CRM is incredibly useful to the crew on moves and assists the office with keeping up to date with everything going on behind the scenes. It's very friendly to use. Pros SmartMoving is easy to learn and use. It's great for others who don't have much experience with CRM's, which makes it easy to recommend. Cons Sometimes it's not as technical as I would like it to be. For example, the reports. I would like to be able to incentive the employees more (Foremen) based on their performance. It's tough to track their performance on the jobs they lead. I was also a bit pestered momentarily as I wasn't seeing much continuous product development. I can confirm that I have recently seen a better effort and that front and am always looking to leverage the most advanced technology to our advantage. Pros How user-friendly it is makes it easy to learn how to use it without having to invest much time learning the different tabs it has. Cons To be honest, so far there is not a thing that I don't like. It might need some updates regarding certain tabs but overall it is an amazing software to use for sales in the moving industry. We've used it for an entire season now, fresh from excel spreadsheets and google calendar, and we'd never go back. The amount of time we save alone is worth the cost. Pros On-boarding the team took about 2 weeks to work out all the kinks and get familiar with the system. The value is good relative to the competing software, not too many unnecessary bells and whistles. The on-going operation is seamless and saves us a ton of time administratively. The calendar is laid out very intuitively, and planning/dispatch happens almost automatically. Payment through Remedy (which is integrated) is seamless and makes collection of all payment types very easy to track. Cons The inventory system is a bit clunky. It requires laborious scrolling and entry for each item, as opposed to being able to submit a simple text list of inventory. A process that should take a minute or two ends up taking about 15 minutes for an average packing list. We found and end-around to skip this altogether and automatically populate a text list on the contract, but it is not very straightforward, hopefully its something that gets updated. September 9, 2024 5.0 Customer support is always available, they're so polite, helpful and most importantly - patient. There's tutorials available too. Even our customers are able to use it and many of them stress they're 'no good' on computers, but I'm always able to walk them through their end of things (to sign the estimate/place deposit etc..) just overall customer/user friendly software. Pros It's easy to use! New features/upgrades are constantly being made to improve our overall experience plus the team at Smart Moving takes on board suggestions from it's users, things we'd like to see added/improved many of which have been integrated. Cons I've honestly not found anything to dislike about it, I started with the company right when it was implemented so I've grown as it's grown which for me is great as I'm not particularly well versed in tech related products. I suppose the only negative is if it's running slowly - but that's so rare and if there is a problem, they always put out a banner acknowledging the issue which they're always quick to resolve. From a 5 truck local moving company. Through becoming a long distance mover with a handful on Semi's agents and our own local fleet. To now operating strictly as a broker. With some manual adjustments it has always fit the bill and we wouldn't operate with it. Pros It is great to have everything all in one place. For years this has really helped us grow our business without having to worry so much about the back end or trying to produce information manually. With the right set up jobs can be priced within a few minutes. Cons Steep learning curve for bringing on new employees.
