### "Happy we made the switch to Boulevard"

Overall I am happy with Boulevard. Again, I was told some things upon signing up that were untrue, so that did make a bad first impression. However, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] saved the day as best she could. I am still waiting for hopefully new features in the program to make it easier as a business owner to use, as well as easier for clients and my receptionists to make less errors booking.

Pros

Boulevard is very user friendly. We used to have Mindbody software and are very happy we made the switch. The onboarding process was a little rocky, as there was some misinformation given to me, however, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was very helpful and attentive helping me figure everything out. The consumer online booking looks sleek and is easy to use.

Cons

There seems to still be some kinks with online booking, I wish it smart booked better. It also is easy to book a staff member a service they don't perform. The sales reports include tax & tip, I wish there was a way to see our true sales without having to get out a calculator and do it myself. I also was told Mailchimp was included in the high monthly price, however, I have to pay almost $200 more a month for Mailchimp on top of the Boulevard price.

It seemed user friendly and I liked the online booking and smart booking option (which ended up being false information, so yes...i was very bummed to realize that one of the reasons I switched was not a reality)

Boulevard is user friendly. for the high price tag i had expected a few more features it seems like a relatively new software as they say theyre working on a lot of features alot. you cant invoice clients, or clients cant see any credit on their account or use it to pay the deposit.

Pros

The transfer from zenoti was easy. they were very helpful everything transfered over fine except one package and our rep went through and manually switched it themselves.

Cons

The deposit feature is all or nothing. Clients that already have account credit or vouchers (packages) are still required to pay deposit and its a bit annoying for them and use to figure out how to refund. it seems like alot of cc fees for money i cant keep.

Pros

Boulevard is easy to use for front desk and clinical staff. The multiple views and intuitive features make it easy to train new staff. It has a variety of business tracking tools that can be customized in many ways.

Cons

Customer service through the chat system is not the most versed. Does have infrequent times of "downtime" which can be disruptive to business flow.

The pre-booking feature makes scheduling future appointments extremely easy! Also, separate tabs for customer's history with services, transactions, and product purchases make it easy to help clients find what they are looking for.

Cons

The integration of packages from our previous booking system did not transfer correctly, which is the only issue we ran into.

So far, I've only been annoyed a few times, which is great! Most systems annoy me all the time.

Pros

Scheduling functionality is much better than where we were, and I love the reports!

Cons

I am having issues getting my pricing entered correctly because we are hourly, and the system isn't really set up for that... But nobody's is either, so here we are.

A fun, fast, and growing company that definitely puts its end use at the focus of the product. Nearly a one software fits all type solution.

Pros

I enjoy that the cloud solution quickly sifts through what must be massive amounts of data that my business creates. It leans towards simplicity that my lay staff don't seem to have much issue with.

Cons

I admit the onboarding and going live schedules we're a bit aggressive and lacked true understanding that my data was going to be used properly the first time. Many edits and back and forth work was needed to get things running to the point I personally didn't have to troubleshoot things between my staff and the product support team.

Pros

We really like the ease of scheduling and how our clients can book and pay online.

Cons

We have still not been able to connect boulevard to our social media so that clients can book directly from those platforms.

Overall it is good, but it doesn't serve my businesses needs 100%.

Pros

It was very easy to set up and the interface is easier than other platforms I've seen. The customer help is very good, too!

Cons

There are often bugs/error messages when trying to adjust appointments, that can be very frustrating and hold up a client's checkout or scheduling experience. There also really needs to be an easy, clear option to book two services at the same time for the same person.

Pros

We switched to Blvd after using another system for 15 years. The customer service is awesome. I think what we like best is it just makes sense and does what we want it to do.

Cons

We had a really hard time getting our data transferred. It tooks months of failing. But that was due to our prior POS not Blvd

I love it but would love it even more when a new client is booked they automatically have a 5 min transition time like a touch up does. I would love if when moving the schedule around that the added transition times or adjusted Brazilian would not go away.

Pros

The convenience of self booking the ability to see when clients book in appointments or cancellations of appointments.

Cons

When logged in and booking appointment, the app asks “who is booking (ex: what stylist)” and then you have to type in your own name when you’re already logged in to your account. There should be a default in the system that auto enters you as the technician, but then a tab option for if you are booking with another person. Some way to customize this setting to fit my needs.

Fantastic. I LOVE the Help Chat, the easy to use interface, and the fact that we can suggest features. It seems like BLVD is always adding new, helpful ways to use the software without there being too much unnecessary bulk.

Pros

The ease of use, and how easy it is to learn things. We have very stubborn stylists who are resistant to change, and they all seem to be doing really well with the transition. Any hiccups that happen are always easily fixed!

Cons

Nothing seems to be very difficult to understand so far. I would, however, prefer to be able to customize parts of the checkout window. For example: being able to turn off the gratuity-only sale, or prompting the user to type in a client name from a new sale on the Sales tab. We have some stylists who strictly checkout on the sales tab and forget to add client names because it's not very noticeable. It might also be helpful to be able to assign clients to a 'regular/preferred stylist' so that maybe it could auto-populate that name as the sales rep, if they were to just walk in and buy product. But overall, love everything!

Pros

the software seemed to be a complete solution to manage all of our needs, it has a staff platform and is fairly easy to understand/learn

Cons

it wasn't designed with practicality in mind. You can tell that whomever designed it never sat at a front desk to understand the client cycle and front desk needs. Some critical functions are totally missing like reopening on invoice to see exactly what discounts were applied and for what reason. Reporting is wonky and staff portal is way too basic.

The onboarding team and our account manager \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]are both sensational. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is truly a part of our team, she helps to not only work with the platform but to expand it to meet our growing needs and to advocate for us.

Pros

Ease of use and the TEAM! The team is excellent from onboarding/set-up to custom reports to interfaces and daily operations, everyone truly goes above and beyond to help our account.

Using it on iPhone is cumbersome - touching the screen just to view info can prompt schedule change function. When the data was migrated from previous scheduling software, Boulevard randomly assigned historical service providers that have never provided any service to the client. As a result, for example, when an existing client called to schedule an appointment with me by asking to schedule with “the provider I saw before”, the client was told that the provider was no longer employed at the spa, because his appointment history had a randomly assigned spa employee, who never provided services to that client.
